I was 3, and she was 15, and studying Poe in her high school literature class. Consequently, I was able to read fluently by the time I entered 1st Grade, and I have had a love for literature and writing ever since. I have always had a soft spot for Poe and all things Gothic. I am 63 years old now, and obviously Poe remains in my heart. Oh! And if I may make a general suggestion for another biography: Perhaps Hungarian noblewoman Erzebet Bathory? Thanks so much for your kind consideration.
