also on the giga bit - gigas can trot you down and keep sniffing to keep on your track, they can out trot anything and everything if they know what they're doing.
coming from experience, even if you're running constantly, that giga will continue to trot after you. they're literally just walking while you're running for your life 😅 the only thing that can really save you from a giga is rain or if it doesn't know how to track properly.

The giga was not troting he was running and his stamina didn't get down
Actually, giga can't trat down some dinos. Whole 1st tier of both modes except for austro, carno, cera, allo, maia and para are just too fast for giga, they can run for full stamina and safely leave. But allo is special. Due to his specific trot allo can run infinitely while regaining stamina, which is broken as hell (for example, allo can outrun carno with that) but somewhy isn't prohibited as abuse on some servers =_=

Some of us had never heard of BoB or The Isle or any of the games Owl plays until we stumbled upon him while scrolling YT. My point is, I'm pretty sure you don't have to play these games to have them pop up on your feed. To be fair though I do watch a lot of gameplay, so that's probably why YT made the suggestion.
Honestly your videos are like S tier it's like watching a short documentary on each animal and it's amazing also this video is like the Big Al documentary from how many times you've broken your legs

Gigas definitely can outrun Allos in a marathon, mostly by way of trot speed advantage. I used to main Allo, and Gigas were pretty terrifying for that at times. Nice video!

Sometimes I get bored watching solo players. Maybe it's my adhd, but it's normally more entertaining with two people bouncing/bantering off each other. But you're like a king at narrating, so I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm always glued to the screen whether you're solo or not.

Great video again, making me want to hop on legacy with all this legacy content. Giga was my favorite so I couldn't help but smirk as you guys underestimated its trot. It might not initially keep up, but for an apex it has a good amount of stam and a long lasting, albeit slow ambush. This on top of just being really fast when just walking means its great at tracking. Would love to see you play it in a video sometime, maybe when you get that apex itch again.

Its ambush is definitely not slow. People really underestimate its ambush speed just the way they underestimate the carnos bite.

always enjoy your videos!! and yeah, gigas are very good at walking down allos. I lost my first allo i ever played as to a pair of gigas who trotted down myself and a whole group i was with across the map until we were pinned against a mountain lol
Holy cow my man you are insane, you did godly as a solo allo even if suchomimus is better for being a solo that's effective with out being an apex, and you still managed to kill a big sub rex in the end, and one hit was able to bring you down most your health shows how powerful something is in the right hands, finally got some more noodles to enjoy this beauty my man 🙌

I always prefer playing mid tier carnivores like allo in the isle, you're underpowered for less time than the apexes, grow up quick, and can still take on a sizeable amount of the fauna you'll encounter (and can usually flee the ones you cant given they dont get the jump on you)
except for giga and acro cause those guys will definitely track you down and just trot while you're running
Isle is such a beautiful game. I once grew an Allo family of 15 members. This was my highlight since I play Isle. We were unbeatable and every enemy failed trying to kill us, even a group of several grown rexes

I'm surprised you don't have more subs still because your content is such high quality. I predict at some point, your views will skyrocket! Maybe a new dinosaur game will release or once you hit a certain number of subs they'll multiply much faster. Kinda like how money makes more money, high views creates more new views. Alloes,growing up have always been one if not my favorite of all dinosaurs. The lions of the prairie! With good reason too! They were fierce predators with amazing hunting skills. Always reminded me of a larger Utah with much stronger biting force. Also besides my favorite dino,its one of my favorite on the Isle as well! They can just run and run for days! Great video as always brother! Been great these last years following you! Some of my favorite Isle content,your talking of what's going on is more of a Documentary than gameplay,and for that you will always have my support 💙💜 p.s the fact you played with Islander was a massive win! Right when you broke your leg while looking for food, at roughly 9:22 - 9:23 you can see something small go over the ridgeline in the top right of the video, directly behind you. Not sure if you already saw that, just thought it was a funny instance of bad timing. Great video, and keep it up!!

What a good run on that allo though - some great fights for sure! I will agree with some of the commentators on the giga question though. I main dilo and giga on the Isle, and can confirm that the giga wasn't cheating. It has one of the fastest trots in the game and a pretty good scenting range. If you ever play giga, one of the main strategies for hunting is to trot things down. You can even trot carnos down if they don't go far enough away from you. The only way to get out of range is to keep going until you think you're out of sight, then triple that distance haha. Poor Islander though!

That's why I converted my game to the new one. The old was so full of speed hackers like that last one. There's no way in hell that dino can keep up with an Allo. NO way he was speed hacking or had unlimited endo either one. So sick of that crap.

You'd be amazed on how well Giga's can keep up with others and tracking by scent of footprints.
It can be quite easy.
Brave soul for going on Noobz (aka the most unfriendly beginner server to exist full of garbage admins, hackers, and a mostly toxic community and mixpackers for an extra touch) but good on ya for stickin your neck out like that

As a person that played allo alot its no suprise the giga kept up with you while you have great stam for a allo your sprint is so slow that a giga can out walk you and just keep up with your tracks, i seen some chase packmates from greatfalls all the way up too twin lakes or the swamps if they know what there doing, giga's and acros are your biggest threat as a allo:)
If a giga wants you it will get you no matter how long it takes as a allo you just gotta hope they arent stubborn enough too keep the chase up.
So basically rain is your one saving grace

I play primarily on the Noobz Server 1 and I suggest that you use snow map as it is allowed in this server and most people use it.
That giga must have been using scent frequently. That's the only way he could keep up with you.
