I see some negative comments here. But as a Dutchie myself, I want to say that, besides being the only country that have participated in every single edition, Netherlands deserves some more respect from the fandom. Yes, we often sent songs that are uptempo, maybe a bit basic. But these are the kind of songs that children enjoy listening (and it's a show for children). Also, Junior Songfestival/Junior Eurovision is a very known branding in the Netherlands. Avrotros does a great job with the national final and social media. I'm a teacher and every kid knows Junior Songfestival and its songs. I think all other countries should take an example from this.
My favs: 1. Holding Onto You 2. La Festa 3. Dans met you 4. Love Me 5. Music 6. Mata Su Aö Ne 7. Click Clack 8. Samen 9. Best Friends 10. Million Lights
everyone complaining about the genre type that the netherlands are sending… where was the support in 2015, 2018 & 2021?? they may be boring songs, but they send something different and still did not get appreciated for it and still complaints?
I'm not Dutch, so I don't know, maybe Netherlands are actually like that, but every single Dutch entry feels incredibly American. Like typical American high-school movie vibe, both musically and in terms of styling. I don't really get that vibe from any other country, maybe it is just me?
in our national selection sometimes new type of songs are participating, but they never win. Everyone always votes the up-tempo normal ones. Like Ruben this year, i loved his song but ofcourse it's too boring...
The only country to have participated at every junior Eurovision since the beginning.

Netherlands is underrated almost every year. ❤ from Spain
Here in Spain our national selection in 2003-2006 was very famous ass well, but not up to the same point.
And there's also a junior songfestival concert, isn't it? That's too cool and produce future eurofans

THATS basically what kids like tho?
2023 has been their only interesting entry really. The rest are all solid but not exciting
Now since 2016 they send the same songs, one of the least interresting JESC country imo
There's been several calls to change our national final format.
Nah they always kinda did except for like the first few years maybe
Totally! They are so predictable and use too much English.
Not true
