I did that trip regularly for 25 years, in the end the idea of doing it again filled me with dread. Of course, the reason the traffic is so bad is because the LNP Politian's allowed Campbell Newman to cancel plans for improvements turning development back 30 years... horrid!!

You know the road to the Gold Coast in both directions has concrete surface between Yatala and Southport which is approximately 28 km long
