I think the difference about them paying for the things in their videos is because they’re UK RUclipsrs. American companies are much quicker to give them for free or for promotion/advertisement. There are also laws in place in the UK about how transparent you have to be in videos about what was gifted for free or given at a discounted rate. Another factor could also be the amount of viewers creators have from certain countries. Big American companies want to send stuff to creators with viewers that would be more likely to buy their product or have some sort of interaction with their brand.
