all Ice Nine Kills song have some self aware cheesyness about them simply because horror movies themselves are pretty cheesy so its hard to avoid so they just roll with it somtimes. very tongue in cheek and pretty enjoyable.
Even before they wrote about horror films, they had a lot of cheese in the lyrics because they just wanted to have fun. Like, songs from Last Chance To Make Amends were cheesy af, and there was no horror theme on that album other than one song's title being a line from American Psycho. And the song had nothing to do with the film.
