The part you thought was a riff in enter sandman is the guitar solo, when the lead guitar player goes off and shows his skill, while also maintaining the quality of the song. A riff is a small section of the song, usually one to four bars, and typically refers to the guitar, bass and drums only. The intro riff to enter sandman is played at the beginning and end, the main riff is played before every chorus, etc.
You have hands down one of the greatest reactions to metal music 🤘🏼Since you loved this album you should listen to Pantera especially their album Cowboys From Hell. Don’t let the title scare you, it’s a fantastic album. You’re going to get your mind blown!
okay let me say you need to watch some of their live concert videos, specifically oakland 1985 day on the green or moscow 1991 where they played to a crowd of 1.6 MILLION people!! they are insanely talented, rip to cliff burton, the original and iconic bassist, who sadly passed away while they were on tour in 1986 and had a car accident, only 24 :(
@@nim4464Stupid bus driver fell asleep and the bus went on a patch of ice costing a legend his life. Most sites have him ranked at about the 13th best bass player of all time, if we had probably like at least 2 or 3 more albums with cliff still alive he would probably be ranked number 1.
And another thing man.. you should do all the albums like this one... full album review as you will get to understand how every song leads into the next.. keep it up man glad to have you on board the Metal ride.
You just reacted to one of the best produced, written and executed albums in history! Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching and hearing the album again. Master of Puppets NEXT!!!
I had this CD running in my car for three years straight. 🔥 fire fire. Welcome to the world of organic music and not digital creations! I just discovered your channel tonight. Instant subscriber. There's nothing like watching someone being mind blown for the first time. You have so many more bands to discover! And yes, if you can rock all the way through the black album, you're a rock head. Cut your teeth on Panteras Cowboys from hell. You're fun! Keep up the positive vibe! And thank you for saying my goodness! Struggle within grows on you, it's fire!
you just showed me metallica and metal music!! Thank you so much! I once like heard a heavy metal song or something like that (it was a song where there were super many instruments and they scremed the lyrics and so on) and from there on, I was like „I totally respect your music taste and if you like songs like that, it is really cool, but its not my taste.“ But my taste has changed a bit the last months and I became more open minded. I know now that I often have to listen to a song multiple times, and that it has to grow on me. That are like the songs that stick with me. The songs that I like by the first time I listen to it, will be forgotten in a few days or weeks. Anyways, sorry for writing so much! I just wanted to thank you that you introduced me into metallica! Have a nice day everyone! ❤️
32:05 haha he’s actually doing that with his feet. He plays the note like normal and at the same time hits the “Wah” pedal with his foot and it makes the not bend and twist to give it that “waaaah” sound. Studio electric guitars are much more complicated than just a guitar a wire and an amp. Also, Don’t Tread On Me is an ode to this wonderful country.
Fun fact: Nothing Else Matters is believed to be a love song to James Hetfield's girlfriend at the time (the meaning behind this song has kind of been loss to time and this is the most likely), by the time the band and the producer Bob Rock were able to convince James Hetfield (The Singer and Rhythm Guitarist) to put it on this album there were like 3 weeks left until release so he didn't have time to teach Kirk Hammett (Lead Guitarist) how the song goes. So all the guitar, its all James Hetfield playing.
Guitar has always been performed by James in the studio during the first 5 albums. The only parts Kirk would record would be the solos. But some of the solos that were written by James would always be performed by him. So NEM's solo being performed by James isn't that special. He also performed the bridge solo in To Live is to Die.
Like other music genre, Metal has so much to offer. The energies, emotions, will take you on so many journeys. You'll have to find your own way, and Metal Family will always be there for you thru the good and bad. Don't take it to literal and find your own interpretation in the music. Enjoy!!!
You should know that death growls don't equal satanism. Gaylord's lyrics are mostly about antifascism and green lung's lyrica are mostly about specifically theistic satanism and you'd be surprised which one sounds aggressive and screamy and which one sounds smooth and chill
Hi Man, support from Italy, i hope you read this comment. I'm from italy and since i was young (now i am 18) i always enjoyed music a lot (and i play bass too) and i grew up listening to rock/metal. Then i discovered the og Hip-hop and then modern rap, and i really love those genres, so i like the fact that you are discovering new genres like i did! I wanted to suggest you a couple of albums that you could react to: "Somewhere in time" - Iron Maiden (for me its their best; metal) "Meteora" - Linkin Park (nu metal) "Led Zeppelin II" - Led Zeppelin (for me its the greatest album oat with Illmatic; Hard Rock) "What's the Story (morning glory)"- Oasis (Brit rock) "By the way" - Red hot chili peppers (my favourite album ever, but not their most famous, Rock) "Jar of Flies" - Alice in chains "White Pony"- Deftones (nu metal) "The Number of the Beast" - Iron Maiden (metal) And those are only few of my favourite! Hope you listen to 'em and support and love from Italy!
I'm 42 and been a metalhead for about 30 years. When I was younger I listened to whatever was on my mom or dad's radio. Rush, Belinda Carlisle, Journey, Boston. I also dabbled in early 90's gangsta rap. It wasn't until I found Metal that I truly felt I found the genre for me. I remember where I was the first time I heard One by Metallica. I remember being blown away by my older brother coming home in a White Zombie T-Shirt that had "666" on the back and thinking "Who the hell is that?!" This genre has so much more to offer than what you originally thought and I'm glad you picked up on that. From Female fronted Death Metal bands to practically castrato male Power Metal singers, there is something for everyone. Pirates, Norse Mythology, Horror, Religion, Egyptian Mythology. Everything. I'm sure you will be getting a TON of recommendations for bands that we will all be MORE than happy to talk about at length. Enjoy your journey my friend. The Metal community welcomes you \m/
In my opinion, metal was labeled as satanic because it exposed the bad sides of religion and religious folks needed a way to keep people from hearing other sides.
been loving your appreciation for music and it even sparks new hype for these songs, that ive listened to hundreds of times, and thats epic, i hope you keep enjoying the vibe that so many hardcore artists dish out bro!
It’s always so cool seeing someone who’s new to metal getting into it like you are, definitely check out some of their earlier albums if you liked their heavier stuff on the early songs you would really like ride the lightning
So I have two requests that couldn’t be more opposite of each other but I have been dying to see you react to both. Rage Against The Machine (self titled album or Evil Empire, prob self titled first since it’s their debut) and Gracie Abram’s- The Secret of Us. Pleeeeease
Aww JEEZ! You NEED 'Megadeth - Rust in Peace' in your life STAT. (Also you will probably understand the 'growl' eventually if you keep enjoying metal. Once you get to certain stuff it's a grey area that's hard to escape from, and you will end up loving SOME style of growl. You'll see
This album was absolutely huge when I was in high school, and you are bringing back a ton of fond memories of what it was like to listen to this album for the very first time. I know that you're also a big fan of powerful female vocalists, girls who can bring the sauce, as you said before. If you ever have a chance, I would love for you to react to the Tori Amos album, Little Earthquakes - That album absolutely saved my life as a teenager, quite literally, if not for that album I probably wouldn't be here today, the way the power of that music moved me and grounded me and uplifted me when I needed any of those emotions. She's an amazing musician, one who doesn't get nearly enough flowers, and it would absolutely make my year if you looked into her. It's not a metal album, but there is a metal connection, because her first album before this was actually with a hair metal band called Y Kant Tori Read. But it was a terrible album, even she agrees, and her record label immediately dropped her... Which let her to go in her own authentic direction with Little Earthquakes. Anyway, if you ever check her out, I really do hope you enjoy!
Subbed your channel from Australia dude, on the back of this and your Nevermind reaction. 2 of my favourite albums that dropped literally weeks from each other in 91. I’m 45, love watching people discover these two bands. Good luck with the channel mate, love it so far 👍🏻
I think you might like cowboys from hell by pantera, they’re groove metal. It’d be awesome if you checked the song and or the album out! They are a bit more on the heavy side compared to this album though lol. love the content man keep the great work up!❤
METRI ive been a fan of yours for a while please PLEASE listen to the album "Collide with the sky" by Pierce the Veil. I swear every single song is a banger
I'm glad you're expanding your musical horizons and giving metal a try. It's truly a beautiful genre of music with a plethora of subgenres that can appeal to different moods. Your experience in giving metal a try after initially writing it off mirrors my own previous attitudes towards hip-hop. I had this ignorant point of view that hip-hop wasn't "real music" because of stupid, pretentious reasons. After moving across the country, I started listening to it with an open mind and found that it has just as much depth and artistic integrity as other genres. You just gotta be willing to set aside your prejudices and listen with an open mind.
You should react to their live performance in toronto 1986, its one of the first concerts after Cliff Burton (their legendary bassist who was in their first 3 albums) died on tour, you can sense their anger and the speed of the downpicking is insane. Creeping death is insanely fast on that live performance
Welcome to the Metallica family! I’m sure since it’s been 2 weeks since I found this video you may already read this but it’s James Hetfield on vocals & rhythm guitar (although he plays the solo on Nothing Else Matters) Kirk Hammett on lead guitar, Jason Newstead on bass & Lars Ulrich on drums. This album was released in 1991. Newstead left in 2000 shortly after the whole I Disappear/Napster thing & after I met him backstage in Jan 00. He was replaced with their bassist from Infectious Grooves & Ozzy, Rob Trujillo who I’ve also met along with Kirk Hammett. Spent a 35-40min shooting breeze with them. Being a guitar player myself the moment I shook Kirk’s hand I asked if I could play his play his $2mil guitar, he paused & said “uh no, she’s all secured right now”. I friggen love this band bro, I can’t even explain how excited I am for you to experience something I’ve been experiencing since 1987(I was born in 1980 but had older cousins & baby sitters). As for Nothing Else Matters, Elton John & Miley Cyrus covered it together & John said it’s the single most perfect song ever (or something like that) but it made Hetfield cry). I’m telling you bro, Metallica are the real deal. They’ve stumbled here & there but they built themselves into an unstoppable force & rightfully so. Check out Master of Puppets, check out Ride the Lightning, And Just For All (there is no bass on that album), check out Load, some songs on Re-Load, skip St Anger (I don’t hate it but it’s different) check out Death Magnetic (they did a song about my war in Iraq) Check out Hardwired to Self Destruct, checkout 72 Seasons and if you’re into Black Sabbath check Metallica’s 1st album Kill Em All. I promise you won’t be disappointed. You may not be totally into all of it, but you won’t be disappointed so long as you avoid St. Anger.
Rock n roll listening does mature the mind💯fact You r funny.."is this what it's like to see a unicorn?". I sooo wish I could listen to this music for the first time again. Its been over 30 yrs..I'm spent..you're alive.🔴
FINALLY! Good first choice its a tamed choice for a metal album but if you really wanna hear METALLICA try out (MASTER OF PUPPETS) ALBUM. Also that one part where the guitar goes crazy in the middle of song is called a "Solo"
I watch a lot metal and rock based reactions and i have to say you are one of my favorites ever! Your reactions made me think that i wish i could hear metallica the first time again. I can nothing else than recommend to listen next Master of Puppets, Ride the lightning and The justice for all. And if you eventually listen to all the albums, you can hear and see the evolution of Metallica from the 80s to today because they are still doing music after 40 years! At age of 60+!
The song Unforgiven has grown on me over the years, as I've gotten older. The song's message of living your life under the thumb of others, or only four others and never once live in for yourself, that kind of bitterness and regret that can come in old age from having been stifled in such a way, broken down that way, far too many people in the world experience those regrets, and the more years I have under my belt the more determined I am to never be one of them.
I don't know if it will be exactly what you're looking for, but a solid album that's metal adjacent. Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness. By Coheed and Cambria. Lots of technical guitar work, and the vocalist has a higher range to his voice, not as much growling and a very unique sound.
Great video. The cuts when Metallica songs are repetitious (for those that have had heard them already) saved us all time yet we still got reactions for the good stuff. Yes, Master of Puppets album must be next. Then I'll like and subscribe. :D
My man you have superb musicality...when you started conducting the orchestra in the unforgiven it's because Metallica is strongly influenced by classical music and you can hear that in the way they compose the music! Great choice for a first Metallica Album... there is so much more to discover
Just found you on RUclips. Happy to hear you’ve discovered a new genre to enjoy👍👍 If you enjoyed the guitar by Black Sabbath & Metallica a gentleman by the name of Stevie Ray Vaughan will wear you out. Imagine a huge dam holding back millions and millions of gallons of water and a very large faucet on the dam opposite of the water. The faucet is the conduit between one side of the damn and all that water on the other side. Now imagine that same dam is the wall between our world and the world of music. Stevie Ray Vaughn is the conduit through which the music on the other side is transported into our world…the music just FLOWS through him. THE video to watch is “ Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood (Live at the El Mocambo)”. You mentioned how Black Sabbath did it “…with their hands” this video is recorded LIVE. That means no manipulation in a studio, no dubbing….just him. Best of luck to you on your journey through the numerous genres of music out there!
Friend, I loved this so much. I saw Metallica when I was 15 years old and they were opening act for Ozzy. Cliff Burton was still alive. I hope you enjoy more. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
I recommend Manowar for some really good melodic metal with an amazing singer. Warriors of the world, dawn of battle, die for metal. Some really cool change ups and just all around badass
this is the best reaction ive ever seen. dude you made me smile so glad you get it now. yes its always been labeled satanic and outcast. im 52 and love Metallica since 8th grade when I heard Leper Messiah on the school bus from a friends walkman. cool seeing you really take it all in.
You gotta do their early stuff that shit is awesome. James Hetfield is the rhythm guitarist who is a beast at making tight and aggressive riffs. Kirk Hammett is the lead guitarist and he is responsible for all of the amazing guitar solos. Lars Ulrich is the drummer. Jason Newstead is their bassist and he was an energy force during their live shows. This album is so damn good. Idc what anyone says
Welcome to the amazing journey that is the Metallica rabbit hole. I liked how you noticed the beat change ups and the many transitions. Metallica are masters of the transition and you can find amazing ones in most of their songs. Just wait until you hear some of their other works. The topics that they cover are very deep! The music mimics the feelings of the topics so well. Master of Puppets (about drug addiction) follows the plight of a drug addict in both the lyrics and the music, Fade to Black (suicide) tries to explore what must be going on in a persons mind if they are contemplating taking their own life. Ride the lightning(death penalty) enters the mind of a person about to be executed. The Four Horsemen (talks about the four horsemen of the apocalypse) listen for the sounds of hoofbeats in the drums and guitar riffs. And so many more...Metallica are truly masters of their art!!!
You’re getting spoiled because Metallica’s arrangements and sound is so good, that other metal bands won’t do it for you. There’s a reason they’re so popular.
This album takes me back to simpler time in my life, when all I heard were the great riffs and the metal, listening now as an adult, the songs just hit different, Unforgiven. struggle within and my friend of misery specifically.
If there was a “gateway” to metal…. This is it!!! Your journey with get darker n heavier! Mark my words, Once u start curiosity will take over. Gonna sub and see where u end up.❤❤❤
Honestly the best next album from them may be Master of Puppets. It'll have more fast bangers like Through the Never off this one, and there's a beautiful instrumental piece midway through. Master of Puppets was released in 1986, whereas this one was released in 1991.
Hey there. My son plays guitar, self taught, and this is his wheelhouse. I love it. If you liku bass' you should check out Primus. I love My name is mud and Bob alot. They are a bit umusual or "different" but Les Claypool is a phenomenal bass player!
Great video, this album is an EXCELLENT gateway to metal. If you like the heavy groovy stuff, vulgar display of power by pantera would be a great next listen. I also highly recommend dirt and jar of flies by alice in chains, and core by stone temple pilots, for some variety
Looking forward to seeing you actually reacting to them playing live ~ you should check out Stevie Ray Vaughn "Texas flood" ~ live at El Macombo ~ it's BLUES at it's highest level, played by the greatest guitar player to ever step on a stage
A nice introduction into growling vocals would be these 2 songs. It's about the lyrics with growling and what feeling the vocalist is trying to convey. Killswitch Engage - The End of Heartache & Slipknot Duality
@@hoodiejalen366 I use the word growling loosely like anything from Slipknot to Cannibal corpse.. I just think these 2 tracks could be gateway songs for that vocal style as they were for me.
@@domdomshannon i see i thought you meant actual growling… In that case I would suggest a different slipknot song like psychosocial which is heavier and has harsher vocals. And the “oh yeah” at the beginning being an example of actual growling

okay let me say you need to watch some of their live concert videos, specifically oakland 1985 day on the green or moscow 1991 where they played to a crowd of 1.6 MILLION people!! they are insanely talented, rip to cliff burton, the original and iconic bassist, who sadly passed away while they were on tour in 1986 and had a car accident, only 24 :(
wtffff wow r.i.p.
a tour bus accident, more accurately
Welcome to the club🤘
Yeah people try to push the harder metal on people and it turns them away, gota start with the easy listening stuff, usually older metal, them expand.
Metri should do a video on Alice in Chains: Jar of Flies
That's gonna change his life 💀
I just commented this lol
Gotta start with Dirt in my opinion
That song... whew. @@Me-fr7yj
@@Me-fr7yj can’t go wrong with that one either
32:05 haha he’s actually doing that with his feet. He plays the note like normal and at the same time hits the “Wah” pedal with his foot and it makes the not bend and twist to give it that “waaaah” sound. Studio electric guitars are much more complicated than just a guitar a wire and an amp.
Also, Don’t Tread On Me is an ode to this wonderful country.
Omg, you should react to system of a down, korn and rammstein. I feel like you'd like them👀
Fun fact: Nothing Else Matters is believed to be a love song to James Hetfield's girlfriend at the time (the meaning behind this song has kind of been loss to time and this is the most likely), by the time the band and the producer Bob Rock were able to convince James Hetfield (The Singer and Rhythm Guitarist) to put it on this album there were like 3 weeks left until release so he didn't have time to teach Kirk Hammett (Lead Guitarist) how the song goes. So all the guitar, its all James Hetfield playing.
It is a widely popular song, was recently covered by Miley Cyrus and called "one of the greatest songs ever" by Elton John. Kinda certified like that.
@@theYoopercorn According to RUclips Music, it has 1.9 Billion views.
Guitar has always been performed by James in the studio during the first 5 albums. The only parts Kirk would record would be the solos. But some of the solos that were written by James would always be performed by him. So NEM's solo being performed by James isn't that special. He also performed the bridge solo in To Live is to Die.
The joke now is that's its a love song to lars🤣🤣
older music just hits different!!!
The fact that you DID do the research commands my respect!
Like other music genre, Metal has so much to offer. The energies, emotions, will take you on so many journeys. You'll have to find your own way, and Metal Family will always be there for you thru the good and bad. Don't take it to literal and find your own interpretation in the music. Enjoy!!!
ur reactions are making the music more FUCKING FIREEE OMG METALLICA
this was such a treat 😭 such a great album
I wanted to suggest you a couple of albums that you could react to:
"Somewhere in time" - Iron Maiden (for me its their best; metal)
"Meteora" - Linkin Park (nu metal)
"Led Zeppelin II" - Led Zeppelin (for me its the greatest album oat with Illmatic; Hard Rock)
"What's the Story (morning glory)"- Oasis (Brit rock)
"By the way" - Red hot chili peppers (my favourite album ever, but not their most famous, Rock)
"Jar of Flies" - Alice in chains
"White Pony"- Deftones (nu metal)
"The Number of the Beast" - Iron Maiden (metal)
And those are only few of my favourite! Hope you listen to 'em and support and love from Italy!
My favorite album of theirs is And Justice for all. Its basically pure energy and anger
Never seen any of your videos before, instant follow and wait till you see them live, it was amazing
I'd recommend Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
True
dude you're the best reactor ever im smiling so hard watching this as a metallica fan
In my opinion, metal was labeled as satanic because it exposed the bad sides of religion and religious folks needed a way to keep people from hearing other sides.
Great reaction! Glad you liked some Metallica. Hope you will do some more from them! Have a great day! I like the shirt!
been loving your
appreciation for music and it even sparks new hype for these songs, that ive listened to hundreds of times, and thats epic, i hope you keep enjoying the vibe that so many hardcore artists dish out bro!
Bro you HAVEEEEEEE TOO listen go all of metallicas albums. If this got you hooked youll never be able to let go after the other albums
Ah, straight to my fave rewatch playlist. Love reliving all this great stuff through how it hits you! 🫶
It’s always so cool seeing someone who’s new to metal getting into it like you are, definitely check out some of their earlier albums if you liked their heavier stuff on the early songs you would really like ride the lightning
Great reaction and it is a pleasure to follow you on your journey. Brings back memories of High School
So I have two requests that couldn’t be more opposite of each other but I have been dying to see you react to both. Rage Against The Machine (self titled album or Evil Empire, prob self titled first since it’s their debut) and Gracie Abram’s- The Secret of Us. Pleeeeease
Thanks for the reaction! I have never paid that much attention to the lyrics, so this was very interesting to me too!
Aww JEEZ! You NEED 'Megadeth - Rust in Peace' in your life STAT. (Also you will probably understand the 'growl' eventually if you keep enjoying metal. Once you get to certain stuff it's a grey area that's hard to escape from, and you will end up loving SOME style of growl. You'll see
Aaaand subbed! An hour of energy. That was great bro.
Subbed! More metal and rock album reactions please!
Love your videos man. I wish I could listen to this album again for the first time
This album was absolutely huge when I was in high school, and you are bringing back a ton of fond memories of what it was like to listen to this album for the very first time.
Thank you for this
I think you might like cowboys from hell by pantera, they’re groove metal.
Anger.
Dude! You are amazing...to listen to the whole thing..lolits intense all at once
Rock n roll listening does mature the mind💯fact
You r funny.."is this what it's like to see a unicorn?".
This was so entertaining to watch ❤😊
Good job bro, keep it coming,
Just found you on RUclips. Happy to hear you’ve discovered a new genre to enjoy👍👍
If you enjoyed the guitar by Black Sabbath & Metallica a gentleman by the name of Stevie Ray Vaughan will wear you out.
Love to see you listen to Motorhead. Ace of Spades, Bomber and Overkill are legendary albums.
THE GOATS
Nice reaction bro. Listening to Kirk Hammett for the first time is priceless. I’ll never get tired of watching people hear him play
I love you bro, keep listening to metal
I recommend Manowar for some really good melodic metal with an amazing singer. Warriors of the world, dawn of battle, die for metal. Some really cool change ups and just all around badass
Metallica really mastered the change ups that you like. They rock you in and out of different grooves, and it's always so well done.
this is the best reaction ive ever seen. dude you made me smile so glad you get it now. yes its always been labeled satanic and outcast. im 52 and love Metallica since 8th grade when I heard Leper Messiah on the school bus from a friends walkman. cool seeing you really take it all in.
im highkey excited for more metal, i hope you eventually get into TOOL, which is a lot newer, but also one of my favs
you got me.. i suscribe!!
aaaaaa so happy you added the unforgiven to Sauce! I was waiting for you to ask Is that sauce? and yepp you did it
It is rumoured that James Hetfield once downpicked someone to death…
To the rhythm of Blackened.'
I enjoyed the reaction very much
You gotta do their early stuff that shit is awesome.
YESSS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE ALBUMS IN THE WHOLE WORLD ❤
They doing it my man 🤟🤘🤟seen them 7 times live ❤
You’re getting spoiled because Metallica’s arrangements and sound is so good, that other metal bands won’t do it for you. There’s a reason they’re so popular.
This album takes me back to simpler time in my life, when all I heard were the great riffs and the metal, listening now as an adult, the songs just hit different, Unforgiven. struggle within and my friend of misery specifically.
Man, you gotta listen to Master of Puppets next. Or if you wanna keep doing other bands, Rust In Peace by Megadeth or Reign In Blood by Slayer.
If there was a “gateway” to metal…. This is it!!! Your journey with get darker n heavier! Mark my words, Once u start curiosity will take over. Gonna sub and see where u end up.❤❤❤
Metri that's why they are tHe KiNgs of Transition my friend 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Honestly the best next album from them may be Master of Puppets. It'll have more fast bangers like Through the Never off this one, and there's a beautiful instrumental piece midway through. Master of Puppets was released in 1986, whereas this one was released in 1991.
Slayer is a band that makes songs about Satan n shit. They’re great so you’ll get lots of recommendations but if you aren’t into that just ignore them
Hey there. My son plays guitar, self taught, and this is his wheelhouse. I love it. If you liku bass' you should check out Primus. I love My name is mud and Bob alot. They are a bit umusual or "different" but Les Claypool is a phenomenal bass player!
gotta do ride the lightning next. FAT bass lines courteousy of the late cliff burton, and some insane thrash metal
Metallica are the GOATS!! They are the band that got me into metal in the first place
Great video, this album is an EXCELLENT gateway to metal. If you like the heavy groovy stuff, vulgar display of power by pantera would be a great next listen. I also highly recommend dirt and jar of flies by alice in chains, and core by stone temple pilots, for some variety
Lol, he is just like me ten years old discovering Master of puppets from a portable cassette player that I got for birthday this year. Good memories!😄
Wouldnt consider duality growling
@@hoodiejalen366 I use the word growling loosely like anything from Slipknot to Cannibal corpse.. I just think these 2 tracks could be gateway songs for that vocal style as they were for me.
@@domdomshannon i see i thought you meant actual growling…
In that case I would suggest a different slipknot song like psychosocial which is heavier and has harsher vocals. And the “oh yeah” at the beginning being an example of actual growling
