Nice work on the videos bro! Keep it up. I have a copycat of the Exped (Lost Horizon). They have a tiny rechargeable air pump that will not only air up, but also suck the air out. I was not very successful in deflating my air mattress completely, but using the air pump really sucked it all out. Made it almost completely flat. You may want to look into that if the air inlet on the Exped is compatible to the Lost Horizon.
Yeah I have a pretty powerful pump that did great sucking out the air at home and then had performance anxiety at the beach lol. So I resorted to folding it over and squishing all the air out for the rest of the trip 😂 But hey it worked at least and had that mattress looking like cooked bacon 🥓
@jyo8914 I just looked at those Lost Horizon mattresses and it's good to know that there's a lower cost alternative to Expeds
@@ggg4runner No worries! Our cheap ($50-$60) Coleman air mattress failed on us again after about 2 years and a dozen different trips including some home use as well. It was about an 8" or so queen size air mattress. So, I was in a bind. I can't really justify spending Exped coin for something like that, so I opted for the Lost Horizon 4.5 ($160). It's a little shy of a queen size, but large enough for my wife and I. A LOT of advantages to it vs. the old air mattress and we both got good sleep. And wouldn't you know it, I just saw that it's on a sale price on Amazon.
Can't wait for Chapter 2!
@@jyo8914 yeah these hybrid foam air mattresses are leaps and bounds better than those old school air mattresses for sure
