- Vikramaditya Motwane and Nikhil Dwivedi's upcoming cyber-thriller CTRL is all set to premiere on Netflix on October 4. Ahead of its release, CNN-News18 Showsha's Titas Chowdhury exclusively catches up with the trio as they discuss the 'topicality' of the film and compare the flip side of social media to smoking and react to the comparisons of the film with Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. Vikramaditya rues the lack of laws to monitor AI interference in Bollywood and talks about his friendship with Imtiaz Ali and Anurag Kashyap. Ananya further speaks about how the widespread use of AI is leading to less safety of women actors, receiving incessant social media hate, suffering from imposter syndrome and her recent viral video wherein she gets a call from alleged beau Walker Blanco mid-event.

It is so sad that most people have got it wrong about the word NEPOTISM! Nepo (kids) means “to get work easily under big banners and again and again, despite not being a hit at anytime. Show me one nepo kid who has done well in their first 4 films and have been shelved from the industry?? There is no problem in those kids getting work and doing the same as parents but, why in PLATINUM PLATTER, Always! Sirji, understanding ठीक करो ।
I think Ananyas character in CTRL is dark, morally grey character. Excited to see her in this genre.
