I have never seen the Dull Knives video before. Wow, just wow. You know how talented they are but sometimes they’ll do something once again that takes your breath away. When you listen to Dani vs. Pau, Dani has a pure voice with a base undertone (kinda like Christina Aguilera), while Pau has a lower voice with grit, she has a more nasal tone to her voice. This is the fun jam session Dani and Pau had because Ale was sick. Wish that they had included the reaction from the radio hosts in the Money video. Dany was sick, so they told them that the drummer was going to sing instead, so the hosts were probably expecting an OK performance at best, but afterwards they were flabbergasted that Pau was not the lead singer, couldn't believe how good she sounded and were wondering what Dany would be like. HEHE! 😀Also like others have mentioned the live session they did for the rock radio station in Montreal CHOM, was something really special, an impromptu acoustic session that Pau and Dany had to prepare in the car on the way to the radio station and we also got to see their wonderful sense of humor shine through.

Incredible, isn't it? This is how the sisters craft many of their songs: at the piano first. That, and of course tons of collective work, is why TW songs are so good, musically speaking. Add the powerful voices and raw passion... and you get masterpieces as these.
I can't pick a favorite, all three of them are amazing. They each do amazing things either together or on their own, each of them knocks me over with their skill and talent. Whether it is Dani singing at one of her midnight streams or Pau performing one of her incredibly emotional songs or even Ale killing it with her Bass coves or taking the spotlight and singing lead on those rare occasions, they are all just incredible and I cannot choose between any of them.
Cheezy, they just dropped an acoustic video yesterday. Over an hour with Pau on piano and Dany on guitar. Unfortunately Ale was sick and Dany still recovering so Pau sings almost everything. I had the pleasure to meet them twice ,4 years ago in Argentina and few months ago back in new york and i am sure that non of the girls feels that way ,the only time i can think of is when they debate on paus day dany day and Ale's day lol but that is more like an inside of their own lifes messing around thing ,i love them their music and everything about them . I dont think that one is better than the other.
I love whenever we get a peek behind the curtain to see how these songs originated. It's especially cool to see Pau playing the outro on piano. Dany and Pau did an hour long acoustic set and Q&A in Canada the other day and they basically took a trip down memory lane performing some songs they haven't played in over 5 years.
It took a minute, but Pau couldn't resist keeping time as she would behind her kit. Her belting does differ from her older sister, and while it sounds great, Dany is the frontwoman of the band. The piano/vocal performance of "Dull Knives" is an example of why I say that. Pau's voice has superior than most quality, but aside from their instruments of choice, I believe there is another reason why Dany has a larger percentage of lead vocals throughout their catalogue. I would also love to see them write an Ale lead song in the future. Yes, I know Ale steps up and fills in at times. What I mean is a song that The Warning record in studio with the youngest sib on lead and that she also performs when they tour.
thye should have had that as a second bonus track actually imho... a brief piano and vocal song, or bass and vocal song, just Ale.... just a couple verses and a chorus even.... with some nice processing on it to make it intimate like breathe is on the evolve album.... wish they had done that... and don't credit it... don't list it as Ale... just let people enjoy it and guess if it's pau or dany until the big reveal
@@DonKelleyMusic When I first heard "Breathe" I thought perhaps with the processing in the opening verse that Ale may have done the lead. Once Pau's propensity for hard enunciation was clear fairly early in, I just enjoyed the rest for the song it is. Ale seems fine with having her elder siblings do the leads while she provides harmonies on the studio tracks. While there have been times in live shows when she will cover for Dany if Dany's voice is simply too strained, or an instance years ago when there was a sun glare issue onstage, I think her initial lead performance of "Hunter" may have been a lost bet situation- hehehe. Similarly with some recent lead vocals on "Red Hands Never Fade" that have been popping up. Either way, if Ale is indeed uncomfortable with recording a track that she is the primary, so be it. While many fans would love it, we should be patient to see if it is in the cards for the future.
They are performing already so many years, I still dive through all the videos from all those years. I never get tired of watching. So special. Still each performance is so pure and they show there love and passion for what they do, just amazing. So great for us that they have a great team which saves all the shows so the whole world can see it, ready to fall in love. This talent, power, passion, just wow wow wow

So instead of canceling the show, they did an acoustic live performance. Mostly older stuff. They planned the concert on the drive to it. Consumate performers thinking about their fans. Pau's great compositional capacity is incredible, excellent lyrics and intelligent messages, Pau the new genius of Rock, there is no one who interprets and composes like Pau and his volume of composition is enormous
On this version of 'Money', Dany was coming down with a cold, and they had to cancel their next gig in Baltimore (and one other I think), so Pau got the chance to show off her belting skills on this radio interview. With a little added reverb, it was just as awesome as Dany's version, just a little different (because, you know... Pau!).😄 These gals never fail to amaze!😉👍

Always just as impressive as the first time I heard these! I find myself running out of ways to describe their immense talent. By now, I THINK you're aware of the Montreal acoustic show.. not sure 😂 Juuust in case though, here's another vote for it! I was there in person and wow, just wow.
And now you see how TW writes and starts the vast majority of their songs. Dani and Pau have always said that Pau comes up with something, plucks it out on the family slightly out of tuned piano, and the girls join in.

Pau can sing but she can’t hit notes in the higher range like Dany. It strains Pau’s voice. Dany has the awesome rock voice. After all they are a rock band. Makes sense that Dany is the lead singer. #teamdany
You only react to Pau’s cover here and there that’s coz I’m guessing people only recommend Pau’s videos to you. You need to check out Ale singing hunter, you need to check out Dany’s midnight concerts. This band is just not Pau’s. Her sisters are equally talented. Even your video titles only have Pau’s name in it. This is really bad and not fair. I will give it time, but if this keeps happening, I’ll unsubscribe.
I think I made it pretty clear that Ale is my favorite. I've reacted to Ale singing Hunter in a live stream. I plan to do more individual recordings of each band member. My titles describe what the video is. When I came up with the title Money (Pau) and Dull Knives (Piano), I'm sure everyone knew which videos I was watching. I will always agree with the fact that a band is only a band with all of it's members, not just one.

And now you see how TW writes and starts the vast majority of their songs. Dani and Pau have always said that Pau comes up with something, plucks it out on the family slightly out of tuned piano, and the girls join in.
Pau sounds amazing, Danny’s guitar sounds great as well, a shame you can’t hear the bass as much ( only at certain parts). Killer performance
cool version of money... ale's doing the vocals that danny normally does in teh break, and pau's doing the vocals that dany normally does lead... I guess dany was in rough shape vocally that day?

Pau can sing but she can’t hit notes in the higher range like Dany. It strains Pau’s voice. Dany has the awesome rock voice. After all they are a rock band. Makes sense that Dany is the lead singer. #teamdany

You only react to Pau’s cover here and there that’s coz I’m guessing people only recommend Pau’s videos to you. You need to check out Ale singing hunter, you need to check out Dany’s midnight concerts. This band is just not Pau’s. Her sisters are equally talented. Even your video titles only have Pau’s name in it. This is really bad and not fair. I will give it time, but if this keeps happening, I’ll unsubscribe.
I think I made it pretty clear that Ale is my favorite. I've reacted to Ale singing Hunter in a live stream. I plan to do more individual recordings of each band member.
My titles describe what the video is. When I came up with the title Money (Pau) and Dull Knives (Piano), I'm sure everyone knew which videos I was watching. I will always agree with the fact that a band is only a band with all of it's members, not just one.
