I bought an Optima V2 LR and shoot that same bullet with three pellets of Tripple 7 Starfire pellets, for 100 gr. equivalent. With that load it is right at an inch high 100 and about eight inches low at 250. Doesn't drop nearly as much as I expected. I shot twelve rounds that day with no cleaning and the last one with the Tripple 7 powder I was using wasn't much harder to load than the first. Also shot a couple of the Powerbelt Hollow points at the same target and the drop was in feet not inches.
When seating the projectile it requires 45 lbs of steady pressure for proper seat. This aids in ignition and constant velocity. Your projectile was not seated properly. When range shooting the bore should be swabbed each time otherwise you will create a crud ring and it will be impossible to properly seat .

Try 250 grain power Bell arrow light
in mine i used for deer kills them dead over 100 yrds. 180gr 44cal xtp with 84 grn by wight blackhorn
