    • @cutedarkarts
      @cutedarkarts 3 года назад +11

      Basic run down!
Asexual- no sexual attraction. Often either has no sex drive, is sex repulsed, or is sex indifferent, but none of those are required to be asexual, only the absence of sexual attraction.
Cupiosexual-underneath the Asexual umbrella. These people have no sexual attraction to people but still enjoy sexual intercourse.
Demisexual- usually considered the midpoint between being fully Allo and fully Ace (Allo refers to people who experience sexual attraction. Demi’s would be considered Allo). Demisexuals do not feel sexual attraction to people until they meet certain relationships requirements (often time it’s a certain amount of either romantic or platonic attraction and of course compatibility)
Aromantic- technically not part of the ace spectrum, but it’s often grouped with asexuality. Aromantic people have no romantic attraction, and often are either romance indifferent or cannot understand the idea of romance at all. That being said, aro people can reciprocate romantic gestures if they are comfortable doing so. Some people like that may use the term “cupioromantic” in a similar way to the term cupiosexual.
Demiromantic- similar to Demisexual, Demiromantics do not experience romantic attraction until certain relational requirements are met. Demiromantics may also have a sexual requirement for having romantic attraction.
This is by no means perfectly comprehensive, but I tried to cover the most basic stuff. If you’re still curious, there are plenty of resources that talk about the asexuality spectrum, and many LGBTQIA+ blogs and journals have articles on them. I’d recommend searching for “what is the asexual spectrum” and going from their. There is also probably plenty of videos on RUclips explaining it in further detail if you prefer learning through video rather than reading.

@@nervousbreakdown711 okay, just wanted to check before answering :)
Grey-ace is what some people on the asexual spectrum call themselves. The original asexual ("ace") flag was white, black, and purple. It represented "allosexuals" (fully sexual people) with white, "asexuals" (fully non-sexual people) with black, and "community" with purple.
Based on that, some people began calling themselves "grey-ace" (sometimes shortened to "grace") individuals. They are people who fall somewhere *between* fully sexual and fully asexual. They have have a sex drive that's lower than allosexuals, for various reasons: medication, trauma, inhibition, or simply being born with a biologically low/infrequent desire for sex, to list a few. "Demisexuals" are also often called grey-aces - they are individuals who require time and an emotional connection before having a sex drive. So when first meeting someone, they have 0 sexual desire and feel like asexuals; after establishing a connection, their sex drive "activates" (for lack of a better phrase) and feel like allosexuals.
Because of the wide range of grey-ace individuals that exist, recently grey has been added to the asexual flag to represent demisexuals and other grey-aces.
      Hope that helps!

I like that take on the Bi/Pan thing. “It’s like diving 47 pages deep into a shipping war thread and trying to understand what’s going on.”
I got hate once for calling myself pansexual. For half a second I legitimately thought there was something wrong (the people came at me like I somehow should have already been 100% aware of the “inherent biphobia of the term ‘pansexual’” which firstly isn’t a thing at all and secondly wasn’t a take I’d even heard of at the time). I really felt like I had offended people engaged in a shipping war I had no idea existed, lol, except that they were throwing around my choice of identity as one of the “two sides” in said war? It was WILD. 🤣

It was like 2014 and during a spiral I realized that I'd never heard of any of the people internet aristocrat was mocking. Most of them were anonymous Tumblr accounts run by teens and twenty-somethings. I honestly doubt any of the people Ben mocked are huge creators on tik tok. Vaushed could've just been like "Ben, who is this?? Ive never heard of this person!!" Actually responding to what they're saying misses the point that they're all randies we would never have found if Ben hadn't gone looking for them. The right needs to keep digging to find anything to support their world view because it's so flimsy that if they ever stopped, it would fall apart around them.

First, Ben would only debate with college kids, then his first shot at the big leagues blew up and crashed inadvertently thanks to Andrew Neil, then his debating college practically ceased, then his second attempt at the big leagues blew up and crashed again directly thanks to Neil deGrasse Tyson, and now he's doing TikTok reactions to, at their oldest, high schoolers.
Makes me wonder who Ben's third failed attempt is going to be with - and if afterwards, he'll be complaining about gender-reveal parties that do not involve shooting something, blowing something up, and/or sending at least one person at the party to the hospital/morgue.

To answer your question, intense and artsy makeup looks are pretty popular among young tiktok users, and from what I've gathered, the more unusual makeup seems to be a creative and exploratory outlet. I think that tiktok has made young people experimenting with makeup easier for outside audiences to notice and for other young people to emulate, based on my and my sibling's experiences with the app.

First off, it's called a "metaphor," Ben. Second, the right doesn't have a monopoly on religion, it just seems that way to you because you think that only right-wingers can be good, godly people. Finally, she never even said what her political views were, she was just mocking the Texas government for thinking that they can lift restrictions right now when the pandemic is still ongoing. I find it hilarious that these right-wing idiots will always fish for examples of "the left" somehow making this pandemic "political" when it was their god Daddy Trump that got them all worked up about not taking COVID seriously and that it was "just the flu" (with people like Ben essentially saying "let grandma die" because he didn't want to risk any hurt to his precious economy).

I think the #1 most useful term that I've learned from Vaush is "coming off on intuition".
It explain SO MUCH of not just conservative rhetoric, but even liberal rhetoric. So many people just intuitively feel something is the way it is or how it's not supposed to be. But then can't explain why they think that way. And a lot of the time, they probably won't out of pure shame because when they start thinking wtf they're saying, it's embarrassing.
