I have a question (i'm a total beginner so i apologize if my question is a little odd 😅) If you're only picking the first, second and third string why are you playing an Am? And if i just play an open chord would be any different?

This is so amazing in so many ways, i love this "delicate" ;) version! I'm and eternal beginner with this stuff cause it's a sometimes hobby but am i dum or are you putting t your fingers in the feet for a but not actually plucking the g string? Or are you moving your thumb?

It’s mainly so in case you pick the wrong string the note you will play will still be in the chord if you are in the correct chord shape :)
