Someday we’re gonna see the Beardsman finally upload a video called “Living the Rest of my Days in the Woods with my FamilyChallenge (Day 1/-)” and he will finally be free
Bro, these are insanely binge worthy. I’m sitting at work just watching your vids for hours man. better than most TV shows for sure. i hope you keep on making these bangers for us 💯
For real and you learn SO much. i been hunting deer with my dad for over 10 years i know i could survive in the woods if need be, especially after binge watching a lot of his videos ive learned so much
Full stop!!👍 You never forget your first wild turkey. In this case with the added experience of the wilderness living challenge it will be tied to your memories forever. Congratulations!!!
I think taking the turkey to scald a little bit of hot water is very easy to remove from the Thai people who have followed you for a long time. I listen to the language without knowing anything but I like to watch you a lot. Thank you very much for the great video, brother. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🇹🇭🇹🇭💚💙✌🏻
Love your hunting videoed and cleaning man. It’s never a bad thing to learn. I was taught young glad to see other people carry it on. God bless you my friend from Ga. once again. Great job
I've commented enough on this video, but after editing my second main video (10-20min) for my channel, I have SO much respect for the amount of footage you have to edit down. If you haven't captured footage, created content, then edited it down into a manageable form, you don't know how much work woodbeard has after filming these series. it must take days or weeks to go through all the footage and edit it down. Enough to subscribe if you haven't, and tons of respect and appreciation for the content (again!).

Nothing like freezing as the sun comes up to get the meat! I laughed as Fowler eyes drooped. Nice shot, full stop. I've always wanted to harvest a wild turkey.
Dude was curled up in a ball LOL. Had to laugh at how lack of hard Zach was went it came to his interest in hunting!!! He was like...that was pretty straight forward (and boring)...hahaahah
That's the nicest looking wild turkey I've ever seen! It doesn't have the hard calus on three point of the brest bone like any wild turkey I've ever got. Looks a lot like a farm raised bird.....
It really just doesn't get any better; roasted wild Maine turkey, lobsters, clams, crab, fiddleheads...out in the wilds! You guys are livin' a dream. That was a textbook taking of that Tom turkey, Chris. Yup...just doesn't get any better! Wicked nice! Oh, and...cheers!
Just came home from grocery store, having a snack on bacon and veggies. When taking another slice of bacon I thought to myself "Wow, look at that beautiful fat!". It instantly reminded me of you WB. Then I realized, Its Tuesday, means you will be treating us with another WLC episode. And there it was, just waiting for me. Thank you for providing us with entertainment and changing our perspective on food.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman Thank you! It seems you have enjoyed the spoils of your hunt this time. Lobsters, clams, turkey and those oily herring fish you have smoked for 5+ days now? Looks like you have managed to create an excess. Too bad it took you that much time to set it up and get the hang of it. You were starving during that time. I'm not sure if you can catch up with your weight in such a short amount of time. One week seems just not enough time, maybe two weeks next time?
Hey, I really enjoy your content, man. I've always been mesmerised by the idea of going back to our roots and becoming hunter gatherers again; being able to provide for ourselves using what nature has to offer. The aspect of reaching into your masculinity is also a very meaningful concept to me and I always come back to watch more. Thanks for your amazing content, man. Keep working hard! :)
Really outstanding season. Been fun watching you over the years dial in what it takes to make this lifestyle work. Last year was "it takes a village", but man the calories. This year you guys have taken all the lessons you've learned over the years and turned into two guys (mostly) getting her done. The term is spatchcock by the way.
Im so into the hunt off the land thing! I love this show! As you progress in skills its nice to take less and less equipment to see just how far you can go. But in comfort. So I would say, if you can get down to giving yourself 4 accessories. Like a knife, a single shot bow or air rifle and say anything from a pan to garlic, salt, potato or oil,it starts to get rewarding. Ican testify, it feels very satisfying!
Spatchcock you don't generally cut the bird in half you open it like a book and flatten it out so that it's roughly the same thickness throughout so it cooks quicker and more evenly 👍
Aah...wish this video was longer. I wanted to see how you finish the beautifully smoked Turkey. Never seen anything like that. Nice hunting and finally you made it. Congrats.
Thank you for everything you do showing the world how people used to live in the skills and what not we needed to survive off the land I feel like young people the Millennials should be watching your channel always just to make sure that they're kept up-to-date on skills to survive outside cuz you know what you never know what's going to happen in this crazy world and you might need to know how to do something so kudos to you keep doing what you do I watch all your friggin shows cuz you are amazing keep up the good work
Turkeys have really gotten out of hand here in Western Michigan. It's insane how many wild turkeys are everywhere. 20-30 in one group all over our place. Can't wait till it's time to hunt. Cooked right they can be tender. I really like how you both have your own "expertise" in these scenarios. Shows the importance of surrounding yourself with trustworthy people with knowledge. "To each according to his needs, from each according to his abilities." Thats what it would take to survive. Doing it alone would be so hard. So much work. Awesome video! As always!!!
Itd be cool to make some primitive arrows with those flight feathers! Using the whole bird and learning a new skill.. Assuming you haven't made arrows out of natural materials before.. it's not too hard using pine pitch as glue and sinew from the animals you kill. Cool video!
What do insomniacs who are aspiring bushcrafters do when the cant sleep.....we binge wooded beardsmen one wildcrafter and bob hansler. Well at least i do
Glad y'all got a turkey. And it did look good. Making me hungry. Which is sad y'all eating better than me. Lol. But great vidoe great series also. I'm almost done with the Canada one. Got 2 more days to go. Should have been done but got bad sick guess from the heat been down for 3 or 4 days. Today's my first filing ok. So time to go try to eat. Prob tuna fish with boiled egg sandwich or just on some wheat crackers. But till the next god bless
The organ with the stones in it that grinds the food up is the gizzard. To make it less chewy take off the inside lining. Splitting the bird in two is called spatchcocking or butterflying.
As someone who can eat seafood all month long. I find citric flavours tend to help with the flavour wall or fresh wild herbs. So depending on what fresh items you've got access to, will greatly help with your seafood wall. Animal fat, wild onions and lobster meat in a pan is a great surf and turf.
