I have been asking the bank for loose half’s and dollars for months now and yesterday I finally struck silver! 90%. I was so excited!

I just started looking for silver and I've been going around to all my local banks looking for customer wrapped rolls and buying them. Once I've tried all the banks in my area I'll start buying boxes.

I went to my bank the other day and they had 29.00 in halves I ended up getting 12.50 in 40 percent out of it. Super excited when I found that

Great hunt GA. Just about a full roll of 40% silver & a couple '87's is phenomenal. The Panamanian half is cool. I've found one of those this year as well. I like the older versions much better. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas. Always sweet to get silver at the end of the year. Searched 57 boxes from 1/1/23 to 6/30 and found 199 silvers. Searched 50 boxes 7/1 to 12/18 and only found 46 silver. This week bought two boxes and found 89 total 39 in the first box with 3 enders and 50 in box two with only two enders.
Two other boxes I bought this week were all brand new 2023P.
I only found around 180-190 silvers all year in halves and I did roughly 2 boxes a week all year.
It's always nice to find Christmas silver.

Finally some silver!🎉 Knew you'd break the streak. Those types of customer wraps are the same as the only ones I've ever found silver in. To be fair, I've only done one box so far. Not too often I have enough for a box 😂

Glad you found it! I always take customer rolls. Because if there is silver, there's usually a good chunk in it. Surprised they went so hot/cold though. That was a bit odd.

Excellent find! I've had no luck this month calling banks for exactly what you found. In the past I have found lots of silver in customer wrapped halves including a full roll of beautiful 1964s in April this year. Enjoying seeing your finds! It's still out there...( Maybe that should be my RUclips name...lol)

I just wish I found more customer rolled halves (that were not obvious CRH returns). When the bank has 8 boxes of rewrapped halves... its time to move on. :-)

i just recently got 2 boxes and in total had 26 silvers 6 90% and 20 40%. one of the 40% was a 1976 bicentennial ddo which is worth around 700$ and in those boxes were a TON of regular bicentennials too! ( you prolly remember my other comment)

Lucky. We don't have too many banks, but when they have customers wraps, they've usually been hunted. Most people here know about the silver halfs.

I'm new hear, I love half dollars, but I have a problem with bringing them back to the bank. Lol
What's the problem?
My dad got a couple rolls from the bank a while back and he found 17 40 percenters in 2 rolls and then today i got 130 in rolled halves then i got 10 in not rolled halves and in the not rolled haves i got 2 walkers

I found a few customer wrapped rolls like that recently that an elderly lady dropped off at my bank! What an amazing feeling! Face value is always so rewarding!

No idea. All I can do is guess. My wife spent 2 rolls of my silver dimes years ago because she didn’t know what they were and I left them in a place that shouldn’t have. Crazy things happen all the time.

How do you get those coins from different banks? Do you have an account because they tell me I have to be an account with them if is more than $25
I have accounts at three different banks. Chase and Truist will usually do cash transaction for anything under $100.
When you dip the coins in acid tone, how is that process go?
acetone has not done much for anything I have tried so far. For silver, ezEst does the best job and its typically a 5-10 second dip... rinse in water for about 20 seconds, pat dry and then let dry under the heat of a light bulb. If you don't get all the ezEst off or don't let them dry the yget black and gross within days.

I have an account at all banks that order for me. Customer rolls I can usually get from just about any bank in small quantities.

I look for silver, errors, foreigns in just about every denomination (copper for Pennie’s of course). Not sure what you mean about expecting you to believe… are you implying i faked the customer rolls? If so… check out my whole channel. I post what I get. No trickery or fakery going on here. If I were doing this for clicks it wouldn’t have taken me 4 years to get the channel where it is today. Heck… I would have had my wife in her bikini on every thumbnail if it was about clickbait. She would’ve drawn way more clicks than a faked silver roll. But welcome to the channel. I've all but quit watching since you're subscriber special, it's all been half-dollar hunts pretty much since then. 😢 Not for me.
That's unfortunate... working on a penny video right now. Looking back at my last 10 videos. I have done 5 Half Dollar Videos. 1 Mixed Hunt that included all denominations, 1 Dime Video, 1 Quarter hunt, 1 Small Dollar Hunt, and 1 Penny Hunt. If I go back 10 more videos, I see 4 Half Dollar Videos, 1 silver review, a dime hunt, , a nickel hunt, a mixed hunt, and 2 quarter hunts. I appreciate your comment but that is a fairly large mix of hunts over 20 videos. Hope to see you in the comments, but if the channel is no longer for you I guess it's just not for you.
