- Can-Am Spyder ride from Stella Niagara to Fort Niagara State Park where we may see Toronto across Lake Ontario, either in real life or on a placard.
Is the Can-Am Spyder a motorcycle? Is it a bike? Either way, we go for a great ride along the lower Niagara River to Lake Ontario.
I ride a 2023 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited. I shoot my video with a GoPro Hero 10, record sound with a Purple Panda mic and edit with iMovie on an iPad Pro.

No one should care what someone else's opinion is. Took me a lot of years to reach a stage where I don't have even a little care about what others think of my choices. Bike, trike, road going snowmobile, you do you and forget anyone else's goofy thinking.

We live an hr and half west of Toronto. Rarely go hate to drive thru. Just too big for us. The planning has started for a Niagara on the Lake trip this August. Thinking about a day trip across the bridge to see what we can see. Been to the Falls many many times but never from the US side.

In the state I live in, they’re registered motorcycle, I have to have a motorcycle license to drive it, my insurance insures it as a motorcycle. I’d love for them to remove all of those requirements and just call it a vehicle but until they do, it’s absolutely a motorcycle. If you enjoy riding it, that’s all that matters. By the way, I really enjoy your videos and will definitely continue to watch in the future.

Chris, it Has to do with physics. The Y configuration, is better & stable than the your traditional trike The folks in the front take more pressure than the Y configuration the traditional push pull of a trike for steering
The stability on this machine is amazing. I’ve never ridden a traditional trike but they sound much less stable.
im posting this before watchng the video, I will follow up after if I feel I need to. " Is a Can Am a motorcycle?" Yes 100%. Its registered and licensed as a motor cycle. In most places you need a CY endorcemnt to ride one. Its also insured as a motor cycle. Its a trike. same as a Goldwing or a Harley. Any time any one gives me greef about it not being a "Bike" I always tell them " You know 3 of kind always beats a pair."

The State of Colorado Department of Motor Vehicles classifies the Spyder and Ryker as motorcycles. Our insurance company which is Dairyland also classifies both as motorcycles. My wife has a 23 sea to sky, and I have a 22 RTL. Thanks for the videos. Ride Safe.
The spyder isn't a motorcycle. Neither is the Harley freewheeler it's a trike or 3 wheeler

Motor Tricycle.
My wife was joking with me when I got my Spyder saying; "now go ride your motorized tricycle!"😂 I had never owned any kind of motorcycle before my Spyder and it was my best friend who convinced me to get one. It took three years and a lot of research and RUclips channel watching to finally going ahead with my purchase. And I love it! And I certainly enjoy it! In English, I refer to it as a trike and in French, c'est ma moto.

I believe someone is doing something with that site.
A motorcycle because it leans. It requires counter steering to initiate a turn.
So jumping from this vehicle onto a motorcycle? Might require some new skills to be acquired.
Definitely a different experience.
Maybe it could be classed as a Motortrike opposed to a Motorbike? Either way, its a great piece of kit, I am hoping to buy one soon and enjoy some ride out's.
