After all the reports of mackerel last Friday we took an educated guess on another spot they could be in attempt to avoid the crowds, we found the mega school and had it all to ourselves
Gear used
Setup 1
Ns amped 2 6-12lb, daiwa kix 2500, 15lb jbraid, 40lb jinkai plus
Setup 2
Wilson bladentails 15-30lb, daiwa saltist 5000, 50lb sunline, 40lb jinkai plus
Lures
Fishinc flanker 85mm
Nomad riptide 105mm fast sink

Yes mate out through the pin bar, all on lures, we rarely use bait 👍

Hey mate I usually run 40lb jinkai plus, and the small stick bait is a fish inc flanker
Sounds like you need need me to come out and hold the camera for you so you can fish more.
How shallow was the pin on low tide?
Depending on how big the tides are mate, we had 3m I think, was big tides too with the new moon the day after
