Love your reactions ....i enjoy your knowledge in pointing out the small things ......its awesome listening to Missioned Souls/Secans musical arrangements and Sheenas vocal arrangements staying close to the originals yet fitting in the youthful vocals/harmonies and the youth musical energy giving it that Missione Souls sound....For instance the song they did last week Little Drummer Boy i requested from them..I always loved the Joan Jett version and a few others Dandy Warhols and there is a metal one also....I wished Joan Jetts version had a better lead guitar for Neisha...i wish every song had more lead guitar for Neisha thou...LOL....But they absolutlely crushed it with their version of Little Drummer Boy....Neishas lead was sweet and the vocal arrangements were perfect....blew me away....
What is also amazing is that they are recording together per take and not individually per track/channel, old school style. So that, if a member perfects his/her part he/she may leave while the others stay and play again with his/her perfected track/part.

I started watching this video shortly after they uploaded it and I couldn't finish it 😢. This isn't exactly my cup of tea but there's no denying the awesome talent here (and they're still just kids 😮). I'm now glad that I watched your reaction video and I loved the end of their song when they got so excited about getting it right, and I loved the out takes ❤
Great analysis as always. Thanks for taking the time to explain so many intricacies. I love how the ending celebration reminds you these are kids. Without that joy and celebration, it might slip past you because they sound like an adult professional recording from seasoned musicians. THESE ARE KIDS producing this music! Unbelievable. I've never heard of some of these songs, which speaks to their varied musical tastes. How many kids do you know are into ska music and can play so many tunes in a ska format? Yes, Secan noticeably up to some board tricks adding layers and effects, which is fine. The challenge is with live performances getting a board op. set up and sound check prior to playing. I do appreciate when Sheena adds in a window showing backing vocal harmonies or layered solos, such as keys or guitars. Their enthusiasm is contagious. I'm checking out this goofy punk/ skater band's live version but they cannot hold a candle to this. Just a lot of monotone speaking and grossly overdriven guitars followed by having seizures on stage- garbage. MS 1, originals ZERO.
Missioned Souls has an uncanny ability to make rock songs easier to listen to, especially for non-rock fans. It must be their vocals, as they stay true to the original music most of the time. Also, they are so charismatic that they draw you in regardless. Thank you for your reaction and support brotha! 100K today 🤞
