Bought one secondhand recently. Love it. The sounds of most machines annoy me fast, but this machine is not chirpy at all. ID is almost always spot on! Don't understand why I never encounter another detectorist with this machine, here in Western Europe? I like the KellyCo instructional video on RUclips and the instructor is also very postitive about this machine. Never missed backlight on my other machines (Garrett/Fisher), until I got this Prizm 6T and only then I realized I always stopped detecting at sunset!
works ok with a tornado coil from my Coinmaster pro albiet again pretty chirpy! I dont really like knocking the sens down much below second from full as thats what the standard pro works fine with! But depth wise (standard 9inch spider =10.5 on a copper penny)(tornado 12x13=14/15inch!!!! Its just the chirpy business thats a real headache but when it passes a good target it blows your ears off!!!
Is this the same internals that the new coinmaster GT is based on and how much do they differ? I have a GT but it seems to be pretty chirpy and its not on full sens,It really is a nice machine but seems to be very sensative!
@muskypucker I'm glad you like your f4 and f5 but the new Fisher lineup is a joke to real detectorists. They are built cheaply and have shitty coils. From what Fisher use to be, the new models are garbage and everyone knows it.
