Honestly the enemy spartan color highlight system in Halo infinite is an abomination. Spartans look so much better here. I like the idea of showing off your Spartans colors but red vs blue just aesthetically looks so much better
I kind of disagree. I enjoy their shields showing their team color through their shields while also allowing their armor color to be shown. I think it shows payer expression better. Sadly 343 kind of missed the memo there. Cross armor customization, the shop, colors, you name it.

It looks jumbled and blatantly un-polished. A game from 2007 is conveying info back to the player with way more clarity than it is in 2021-2022, as well as rendering the original purpose of the change, (trying to show off armor) useless because the visual clarity is so much more jumbled. It's a bad system, it is poorly implemented, and it was shoehorned in like so many other things in Infinite to make the game more profitable instead of making it better which in time will lose them money as they continue to bleed players daily at this point.

In MCC, there's no skill-based matchmaking. You're just dropped in with whoever else is playing (usually very high ranked players) so it doesn't matter anymore :(
