My family has suffered from alcoholism and addiction for as long as I can remember. I myself was an active alcoholic for at least 10yrs, it was ONLY through the grace of God that my addiction was lifted. Unfortunately my sister and Father are still active. I wrote down the prayer Father Martin said and will say it every night. Please pray for my family if you read this. May God bless you and shine his light upon you!
Definitely... I'll pray for you and your family
Hello! I've been sober for the last 28 years and I am a practicing catholic too. I will pray for your family
Also please pray for my cousin David who is currently in ICU being treated for alcohol and congestive heart failure
The lady of Kibeho please pray for her family
My immediate family! And all my life ❤️ away from other relatives and it's great. Except as I matured. And ask about ancestry. And slowly critically thought, that my immediate relatives must have distanced themselves for a reason. Alcoholism.
I pray this wound in my family, is healed forever by God's grace. Amen.
I'm an avid listener as early as season 1 and watched all the stories if I recall except a few vids that were not cases only very few but I also watched the vids that were not cases because there were a lot of lessons to learn from. I also watch most of Father Carlos Martins interviews on various youtube channels even before Exorcist Files was released along with people who teach good stuff.
I love listening to the cases made available by this channel because it helps us keep our actions in check, actively avoid portals of demonic possession, remind ourselves to strive to stay close to God, and how much God loves us. There are also several teachings sprinkled while a story is being told.
The cases will help remind us of the realities of spiritual warfare specially when people are being carefree and do not think much of our actions so the cases here will help us keep ourselves in check and avoid committing sins specially mortal sin.
The cases demonstrate how destructive demons can be which is why we need to avoid opening portals to demonic possession or giving rights to demons made by committing a sin specially mortal sin. It highlights the importance of confession, prayers, and attending mass on a regular basis.
The stories highlight several times that your prayers are being heard! EVEN A SILENT PRAYER! As demons react aggressively to such activities. (Check the case # 5 all in your head)
To be responsible and do not give your yes carelessly - (Case #2 Hoc Est Corpus Meum)
To not put your wants and goals above God and accept what God decreed and keep trusting God - Case #1 No life without death
The effectiveness of relics of Saints
and many many more good lessons!
I made this post because from time to time I feel sad about the unfair criticism and bad comments made about the channel.
So at the very least you guys will know that there are also people who love your works, greatly benefits from it spiritually, and does not merely seek the scare factor as if reducing the value of the true to life cases as just some horror stories.
But as Father Vincent Lampert said along the lines in his recent interview on PintsWithAquinas, while some just seek the scare factor of exorcist stories at first, later on it can be a way for the listener to convert or get closer to God.
God bless
I just got my rosary from Fount of Grace. It is BEAUTIFUL! It came package in a nice box with a pretty bow and a handwritten thank you card. It is so very special and the quality is off the charts. Thank you for recommending them. I truly appreciate it!
I absolutely love your podcasts! They're very informative and I can always picture the scenes in my mind, as you guys tell your stories and I'm zoned in from start to finish. I used to be so afraid of anything spiritual, even though I have always been a Christian, but as I became an adult, I started studying more and learned how to listen to the Holy Spirit. I'm no longer afraid and things like this, make me want to pursue God even more.
I've suffered so much through most of my life, starting as a young child, but I've become closer to God, through Christ. I'm no longer afraid of death or anything negatively spiritual. I've learned how to listen when the Holy Spirit speaks. I stopped having nightmares for the most part, but when I do have them, I'm not afraid, and I call on God in the dream and Christ helps me defeat it.
What I've learned from God, The Heavenly Father is that negative spirits try to entice humans, bcuz they need energy to sustain themselves and to manifest in the physical world, since they're separated from God, The Most High. They use any tactic and loophole to get that invitation. You and your team are an inspiration and the commentary is hilarious! Keep spreading the good word. God bless 🙏🏻❤️🔥🪽†
Ok I'll be patient until September for my rosary . Thanks for the update!
Tks a lot for the show God bless you all

Thank you for the explanation concerning St. Michael. I became Catholic in 2021, and I am still learning so much. Also, I really enjoy this program. Thank you to everyone for the hard work and dedication.
YAAAAY!!!!🤩🙌🏻
❤❤❤
Fantastic podcast ❤❤❤.
For God to Change His mind could simply be a change of heart and an act of mercy on God's part as opposed to Him being wrong in His ways.
His Mind was already set. He was giving man an opportunity, a chance to choose the unveiled/known good.
Deo Gratius ❤❤❤God bless
You said baptism does not remove generational curses. Does this also apply to the sacrament of baptism according to the Latin rite pre 1960's? Is there a possibility that the use of that sacramental is different from the baptismal rite currently in use?
"Ave Gratia Plena, dominus tecum" -Lk 1:28
------ ------ ------ ------
Greetings, Fr. Carlos,
🔊 min- 12:13
❓️ in speaking about generational curses regarding David, why do you keep skipping over 2 Sam 12:10???
"⁹ Why have you despised the word of the LORD, to do what is evil in his sight? You have struck down Uri'ah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have slain him with the sword of the Am'monites.
¹⁰ Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken the wife of Uri'ah the Hittite to be your wife."
-2 Samuel 12:9-10
This Q&A episode has caused more confusions for me and perhaps to others who have honestly looking into generational sins & curses. I hope Fr Carlos could find the time to address these incoherent difficulties:
1) In the salvation history as recorded in the Old Testament, Jeremiah 31:27-30 & Ezekiel 18 :1-4 [history period: 722BC - 538BC] abrogated past teachings on sins and the effects against the descendant described in
a) Exodus 20:5, Deuteronomy 5:7-10, Deuteronomy 28:1-69 (blessing and curses), [History Period: 1800BC -1406 BC], and
b) 2 Samuel 11-12 account (David, Bathsheba & Nathan) [History Period: 1000BC]
There are no New Testament accounts that support generational sin as a rule.
John 9:1-3 (The Man Born Blind) and Mt 17:15-20 (casting demon out of a boy & faith of mustard seed) are neutral. Similar to the account in the book of Job; these are under God’s total sovereignty.
2) There is a Fr Rogelio Alcantara, an exorcist, who was tasked specifically to investigate & address generational sins and curses controversies at a congress in Rome. His published conclusion in 2018 was that generational sin is unfounded; he delineates the difference between the effect of sins, and curses when invoked the power of Satan.

Ezekiel (NABRE) (Same as Jeremiah)
“Parents eat sour grapes,
but the children’s teeth are set on edge”?
3 As I live-oracle of the Lord God: I swear that none of you will ever repeat this proverb in Israel. 4 For all life is mine: the life of the parent is like the life of the child, both are mine. Only the one who sins shall die!”
it starts at 3:30
Thank you, Fr. Carlos for the explaining the the Predatory, episode 3, that 6 out of 10 will choose the wrong master (24:25), refuse to reform their lives (24:58), or "not willing to give back the demonic gift received from the devil (25:10). I'm rephrasing your words from 26:21-30:59 to summarize it , "the person is being manipulated getting sexual off-the-chart highs, so he enjoys that release and so it's extremely addictive. So in the fight against the temptation, he gives in, he gives himself to Satan. Also it's impossible to break unless an Exorcist use holy curse to break the evil curse." It's sounds so hopeless. God is still there working in all this.
I have asked a MIC priest, what can wives do since they can't bless their husband, they are also a father, who is committing repeatedly immoral sex many years, he responded to have mass intentions said for them, ex: "Joan's Special intentions" to keep identity & type of affliction confidential.
My aunt married a Baptist who agreed to raise their children Catholic, and the kids are still Catholic to this day -- rare enough in itself these days. But this Uncle of mine continued to be Baptist, and didn't believe baptism was necessary for salvation. My aunt prayed for him for more than 50 years to be baptized. Then he was diagnosed with a kind of dementia, and she was so anxious that he wouldn't be welcomed into heaven because she thought it was too late for him to make that choice. But her priest counseled her to give him into the care of Our Lady. So she did. She prayed for some years more that he would present himself for baptism, even as he began to lose his ability to speak. Then one day she was looking through photo albums with him. He pointed at the old photo of his favorite aunt, who had died long before. His aunt was Baptist, and baptized, and she was a God-fearing and joyful woman, faithful to her love of Jesus. My aunt told her husband, "That's your aunt. She's in heaven." And my uncle, who had lost the ability to say more than a word or two at a time, looked at her with clear eyes and said, "I want to go to heaven. I want to be baptized." My aunt got right on the phone with his family's Baptist minister, but he was on vacation and couldn't come home right then. So she called her priest for advice, and he came right over to talk with my uncle. It turned out that my uncle didn't only want to be baptized, he also wanted to receive holy Communion in the Catholic Church. So the priest baptized and confirmed him, and gave him holy Communion. After that, my uncle returned to the state of being unable to talk, and very soon he entered the "actively dying" phase of his disease. He died about a week or two after being baptized. He got to go straight to heaven ❤
Have Masses said for him, but also plead with Our Lady to intercede for your husband. And ask St. Joseph, Guardian of the Holy Family, to intercede as well.
@@kimfleury Thank you so much sharing your story! It was an answer to my prayers and doubts. My late loving paternal grandparents never raised my father to go to church everyday Sunday. My father is agnostic and in his late 80s. Your story tells me that conversion can happen and that I must give 100% trust in God not 80%. He is there working with my father. I live 1000 miles away. I don't see him often.
Does anyone know how many episodes will be in this season? It’s been a couple weeks since the last one
How can someone validate or verify first class relics are authentic?
The relic can be tested during an exorcism.. it's not always evident, but based on the reactions, relics can be known to be legitimate. That being said, I believe there was a recent meeting of exorcists where it was frowned upon for exorcists to use exorcisms to validate relics as it was being seen as a form of divination.
I believe Fr. Carlos Martins is one of the few people that can authenticate relics from his own knowledge.
Early Christians loved to burry apostles parts and they are also used in miracles to confirm
Father Martins, I had a question concerning Father Ripperger. Did you suggest to Michael Lofton to stay away from him because he seeks theology from demons using the rite of Exorcism? That’s a serious accusation! I’ve heard all Father Ripperger’s conferences and talks, nothing suggest that unless you’re saying something no one else knows. Thanks, Father Martins.
How can I get the book..?
Israelites in Jesus time thought that any misfortune or sudden death was the result of some wrong doing on the sufferer's part. They asked Jesus what the people did to deserve a water tower falling on them and killing them. Jesus set them straight and asserted that it was not caused by any sin they did.
A generational curse doesn't cause water towers to fall on the cursed for the most part. Maybe that happens in some rare cases, but things like suicide and substance dependency and behavioral patterns are far more common with generational curses.
Father, I thank God for our Shepards. Please may I comment on God being proud. He (God) has not used that word, proud, in describing His son. I don't believe that God ever said proud to describe Jesus. I think it's a scary word because it's innocuous and as a sinner in my corner of the planet, and given to arrogance, I like that word "pleased" much more. My thinking is subject to skewering therefore I throw myself on Gods Mercy. When folks become proud we claim that we accomplished something great. Or good. We can only imitate, animated by the Holy Spirit to accomplish the cherished tasks He honors us with. I'm rather humbled and awestruck to be so employed to whatever He asks. Which usually consists of helping my neighbors in simple tasks. What joy to be found from humble tasks. And letting Christ burn bright. Thank you Father. I have met the adversary and know what being sifted like wheat is like. Thanks be to God.
My family member had an "out of body" experience and saw a shadow figure in his house. I think this is not good , he is intrigued by it. I want to discourage him from pursuing experiences like this He is not yet a Christian although we are working on that... What do you think about this?
Sounds as if he is looking to the wrong g side for a spiritual experience. He's flirting with evil, but doesn't realize its a slippery slope he's flirting with.
Tell him that, if he has a true vision sent by God, that that is for him to grow. It's important to not SEEK interaction with the spiritual world. But God can send a vision for his own edification
Thank you, question: Are all Demons fallen angels ? If not, what are the other non fallen Angel demons ?
I really want to know how to understand revelation from a Jewish perspective when the Jews today reject their own Messaih and refuse to relent their relationship with the Devil.
I will join the paid membership and keep asking this question so I can finally receive wisdom on this from the perspective of a serious person. Relying on my own understanding, I cannot wrap my mind around how the jews today can claim to be the chosen of God's promise while they actively reject Christ and everything He came to teach them and the world. How is it that the gentiles were the ones to take His message and create the kingdom of Christ on Earth and meanwhile anyone calling themselves a Jew (with the exception of Messianic) practicing Judiasm are in direct violation of what God sent the Messiah to achieve?
Go and listen to the Lord of Spirits Podcast. You will have all of your answers!
The Jews are the people God chose to prepare for His Son to be born to. That's what "chosen" means. They will always be the Chosen People because of that.
I left a comment which is very uncharacteristic for me. I have never been on social media but as a Catholic I felt I wanted to comment. I got a response from a crazy taro-card psychic person. Really weird response and if this person actually read my post they would have known how repugnant these practices are to me.i guess just an AI response?
What about the story or Lazarus and the rich man? That happened before Jesus’s crucifixion.
@@clddebargeifyWhat about Lazarus? I'm curious why do you ask?
@@KarenJSim oh because he said that people all went to hell before he died on the cross and after he went to hell and got the captives. So my question was why did Lazarus go to heaven before Jesus died on the cross.
@@clddebargeify Read the whole Chapter of Gospel John 11. Lazarus rose from the dead. I'm no theologian or an expert but I had heard that there's 7 levels of hell. The deepest part of hell is a place of eternal fire. Those there can never be resurrected. Others levels are prolong sufferings. There certain degree of sufferings in each level from severe to minor. Those can be resurrected if they chose Him. We have a choice, free will to choose. God doesn't force us.
The different levels of hell, Hades or Gehenna part, I don't know if this is biblical or not. Maybe it's just church traditions. I researched on Lazarus years ago, I wanted find out what Lazarus did after Jesus was crucified. He escaped from the Jews, they wanted him to be dead. Long story short, Lazarus was never the same after Jesus rose him from the dead. He was very solemn and quiet. It seemed to me that he had an experience as he had went there, seen it where it left a profound effect on him. I hope and pray that someone who is a theologian can answer this better than I.
@@KarenJSim I was talking about the parable Jesus told of the rich man and Lazarus. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
I had thought Lazarus in the parable of the poor man and the rich man the same person as Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha. I googled for answers. Jody Gattley, from Quora, answered a similar question, said that "they are not the same. Lazarus, Mary and Martha were real people and friends of Jesus. That Lazarus died of a sickness and Jesus came and raised him from the dead after the sisters sent a messenger to Jesus saying Lazarus was sick and to please come. By the time Jesus arrived Lazarus was already dead, but Jesus raised him from the dead.
The other Lazarus was only a story that Jesus told to illustrate a point about it not being important if you are poor or rich when it pertains to one’s eternal destiny. That story was about a rich man who was arrogant and a beggar named Lazarus who was humble, and what happened to them when they died. Jesus often taught using parables which were stories that people could easily relate to in understanding spiritual things. The best definition I have heard of the word “parable” is: “an earthly story with a heavenly meaning”.
I think it was a common name."
i just dont understand repenting for other peoples sins and having to be punished by saying long prayers for something i didnt do maybe its my TBI or other brain defect but i just dont understand plus i hate repeating prayers after people protestants have made me do that over and over even if i said i was saved they would say lets make sure 1 baptist minister told me say this prayer after me or i wont be able to sleep tonight total guilt trip into saying it
Hi father Carlos, I need your help if you could. I had a stroke back in late March 2023 and I was wondering, which relic or which Saint would you pray to help me with this situation? Everything‘s moving again although very clumsy and weak and it’s just been a very long recovery. i’m currently not working in my walking is very poor and I was wondering if you could send a relic or give me a prayer for a saint to help intercede with my situation so I can get back on my feet again and get a job as you imagine my financial situation is very poor right now too, seeing as I haven’t worked in a long time. I am an oil painter and a watercolorist and thank God my right side was not affected so I can do that but I get very tired very quickly and there’s lots of other minor problems.
And yes, I do understand it would be our third class relic, which is just fine. I was just wondering how to go about getting that or getting the saint to help me intercede with this and ask God for his help. And I’m speech texting this with Siri so sorry for any mistakes.
I feel like Jesus loaths me me.
Hum God forgives anyone who is sincere
@DarkAngel-cj6sx I'm sure I'm forgiven.. that's not the point. The point is everything that can go wrong has gone wrong and continues to go wrong.
I've felt this too. You need to pray this feeling away, its probably not of divine origin.
Is it a curse (as in, not of God), or is it God delivering you from worse?
Jesus didn't even loathe Judas. It is not fair to Him to suggest He loathes you. That is a temptation of the Evil one to think that way.
Commercializing exorcism? Hope the demons are getting a cut from the grift.
