    My family has suffered from alcoholism and addiction for as long as I can remember. I myself was an active alcoholic for at least 10yrs, it was ONLY through the grace of God that my addiction was lifted. Unfortunately my sister and Father are still active. I wrote down the prayer Father Martin said and will say it every night. Please pray for my family if you read this. May God bless you and shine his light upon you!

      I pray this wound in my family, is healed forever by God's grace. Amen.

    I'm an avid listener as early as season 1 and watched all the stories if I recall except a few vids that were not cases only very few but I also watched the vids that were not cases because there were a lot of lessons to learn from. I also watch most of Father Carlos Martins interviews on various youtube channels even before Exorcist Files was released along with people who teach good stuff.
    I love listening to the cases made available by this channel because it helps us keep our actions in check, actively avoid portals of demonic possession, remind ourselves to strive to stay close to God, and how much God loves us. There are also several teachings sprinkled while a story is being told.
    The cases will help remind us of the realities of spiritual warfare specially when people are being carefree and do not think much of our actions so the cases here will help us keep ourselves in check and avoid committing sins specially mortal sin.
    The cases demonstrate how destructive demons can be which is why we need to avoid opening portals to demonic possession or giving rights to demons made by committing a sin specially mortal sin. It highlights the importance of confession, prayers, and attending mass on a regular basis.
    The stories highlight several times that your prayers are being heard! EVEN A SILENT PRAYER! As demons react aggressively to such activities. (Check the case # 5 all in your head)
    To be responsible and do not give your yes carelessly - (Case #2 Hoc Est Corpus Meum)
    To not put your wants and goals above God and accept what God decreed and keep trusting God - Case #1 No life without death
    The effectiveness of relics of Saints
    and many many more good lessons!
    I made this post because from time to time I feel sad about the unfair criticism and bad comments made about the channel.
    So at the very least you guys will know that there are also people who love your works, greatly benefits from it spiritually, and does not merely seek the scare factor as if reducing the value of the true to life cases as just some horror stories.
    But as Father Vincent Lampert said along the lines in his recent interview on PintsWithAquinas, while some just seek the scare factor of exorcist stories at first, later on it can be a way for the listener to convert or get closer to God.
    God bless

    I absolutely love your podcasts! They're very informative and I can always picture the scenes in my mind, as you guys tell your stories and I'm zoned in from start to finish. I used to be so afraid of anything spiritual, even though I have always been a Christian, but as I became an adult, I started studying more and learned how to listen to the Holy Spirit. I'm no longer afraid and things like this, make me want to pursue God even more.
    I've suffered so much through most of my life, starting as a young child, but I've become closer to God, through Christ. I'm no longer afraid of death or anything negatively spiritual. I've learned how to listen when the Holy Spirit speaks. I stopped having nightmares for the most part, but when I do have them, I'm not afraid, and I call on God in the dream and Christ helps me defeat it.
    What I've learned from God, The Heavenly Father is that negative spirits try to entice humans, bcuz they need energy to sustain themselves and to manifest in the physical world, since they're separated from God, The Most High. They use any tactic and loophole to get that invitation. You and your team are an inspiration and the commentary is hilarious! Keep spreading the good word. God bless 🙏🏻❤️‍🔥🪽†

    This Q&A episode has caused more confusions for me and perhaps to others who have honestly looking into generational sins & curses. I hope Fr Carlos could find the time to address these incoherent difficulties:
    1) In the salvation history as recorded in the Old Testament, Jeremiah 31:27-30 & Ezekiel 18 :1-4 [history period: 722BC - 538BC] abrogated past teachings on sins and the effects against the descendant described in
    a) Exodus 20:5, Deuteronomy 5:7-10, Deuteronomy 28:1-69 (blessing and curses), [History Period: 1800BC -1406 BC], and
    b) 2 Samuel 11-12 account (David, Bathsheba & Nathan) [History Period: 1000BC]
    There are no New Testament accounts that support generational sin as a rule.
    John 9:1-3 (The Man Born Blind) and Mt 17:15-20 (casting demon out of a boy & faith of mustard seed) are neutral. Similar to the account in the book of Job; these are under God’s total sovereignty.
    2) There is a Fr Rogelio Alcantara, an exorcist, who was tasked specifically to investigate & address generational sins and curses controversies at a congress in Rome. His published conclusion in 2018 was that generational sin is unfounded; he delineates the difference between the effect of sins, and curses when invoked the power of Satan.

    but the children’s teeth are set on edge”?

    Thank you, Fr. Carlos for the explaining the the Predatory, episode 3, that 6 out of 10 will choose the wrong master (24:25), refuse to reform their lives (24:58), or "not willing to give back the demonic gift received from the devil (25:10). I'm rephrasing your words from 26:21-30:59 to summarize it , "the person is being manipulated getting sexual off-the-chart highs, so he enjoys that release and so it's extremely addictive. So in the fight against the temptation, he gives in, he gives himself to Satan. Also it's impossible to break unless an Exorcist use holy curse to break the evil curse." It's sounds so hopeless. God is still there working in all this.
    I have asked a MIC priest, what can wives do since they can't bless their husband, they are also a father, who is committing repeatedly immoral sex many years, he responded to have mass intentions said for them, ex: "Joan's Special intentions" to keep identity & type of affliction confidential.

      My aunt married a Baptist who agreed to raise their children Catholic, and the kids are still Catholic to this day -- rare enough in itself these days. But this Uncle of mine continued to be Baptist, and didn't believe baptism was necessary for salvation. My aunt prayed for him for more than 50 years to be baptized. Then he was diagnosed with a kind of dementia, and she was so anxious that he wouldn't be welcomed into heaven because she thought it was too late for him to make that choice. But her priest counseled her to give him into the care of Our Lady. So she did. She prayed for some years more that he would present himself for baptism, even as he began to lose his ability to speak. Then one day she was looking through photo albums with him. He pointed at the old photo of his favorite aunt, who had died long before. His aunt was Baptist, and baptized, and she was a God-fearing and joyful woman, faithful to her love of Jesus. My aunt told her husband, "That's your aunt. She's in heaven." And my uncle, who had lost the ability to say more than a word or two at a time, looked at her with clear eyes and said, "I want to go to heaven. I want to be baptized." My aunt got right on the phone with his family's Baptist minister, but he was on vacation and couldn't come home right then. So she called her priest for advice, and he came right over to talk with my uncle. It turned out that my uncle didn't only want to be baptized, he also wanted to receive holy Communion in the Catholic Church. So the priest baptized and confirmed him, and gave him holy Communion. After that, my uncle returned to the state of being unable to talk, and very soon he entered the "actively dying" phase of his disease. He died about a week or two after being baptized. He got to go straight to heaven ❤
      Have Masses said for him, but also plead with Our Lady to intercede for your husband. And ask St. Joseph, Guardian of the Holy Family, to intercede as well.

    • @MichaelBowes
      @MichaelBowes Месяц назад +3

      The relic can be tested during an exorcism.. it's not always evident, but based on the reactions, relics can be known to be legitimate. That being said, I believe there was a recent meeting of exorcists where it was frowned upon for exorcists to use exorcisms to validate relics as it was being seen as a form of divination.
      I believe Fr. Carlos Martins is one of the few people that can authenticate relics from his own knowledge.

    Israelites in Jesus time thought that any misfortune or sudden death was the result of some wrong doing on the sufferer's part. They asked Jesus what the people did to deserve a water tower falling on them and killing them. Jesus set them straight and asserted that it was not caused by any sin they did.

    • @kimfleury
      @kimfleury Месяц назад +1

      A generational curse doesn't cause water towers to fall on the cursed for the most part. Maybe that happens in some rare cases, but things like suicide and substance dependency and behavioral patterns are far more common with generational curses.

    Father, I thank God for our Shepards. Please may I comment on God being proud. He (God) has not used that word, proud, in describing His son. I don't believe that God ever said proud to describe Jesus. I think it's a scary word because it's innocuous and as a sinner in my corner of the planet, and given to arrogance, I like that word "pleased" much more. My thinking is subject to skewering therefore I throw myself on Gods Mercy. When folks become proud we claim that we accomplished something great. Or good. We can only imitate, animated by the Holy Spirit to accomplish the cherished tasks He honors us with. I'm rather humbled and awestruck to be so employed to whatever He asks. Which usually consists of helping my neighbors in simple tasks. What joy to be found from humble tasks. And letting Christ burn bright. Thank you Father. I have met the adversary and know what being sifted like wheat is like. Thanks be to God.

    I will join the paid membership and keep asking this question so I can finally receive wisdom on this from the perspective of a serious person. Relying on my own understanding, I cannot wrap my mind around how the jews today can claim to be the chosen of God's promise while they actively reject Christ and everything He came to teach them and the world. How is it that the gentiles were the ones to take His message and create the kingdom of Christ on Earth and meanwhile anyone calling themselves a Jew (with the exception of Messianic) practicing Judiasm are in direct violation of what God sent the Messiah to achieve?

      @@clddebargeify Read the whole Chapter of Gospel John 11. Lazarus rose from the dead. I'm no theologian or an expert but I had heard that there's 7 levels of hell. The deepest part of hell is a place of eternal fire. Those there can never be resurrected. Others levels are prolong sufferings. There certain degree of sufferings in each level from severe to minor. Those can be resurrected if they chose Him. We have a choice, free will to choose. God doesn't force us.

      @KarenJSim Месяц назад +1

      I had thought Lazarus in the parable of the poor man and the rich man the same person as Lazarus, the brother of Mary and Martha. I googled for answers. Jody Gattley, from Quora, answered a similar question, said that "they are not the same. Lazarus, Mary and Martha were real people and friends of Jesus. That Lazarus died of a sickness and Jesus came and raised him from the dead after the sisters sent a messenger to Jesus saying Lazarus was sick and to please come. By the time Jesus arrived Lazarus was already dead, but Jesus raised him from the dead.
      The other Lazarus was only a story that Jesus told to illustrate a point about it not being important if you are poor or rich when it pertains to one’s eternal destiny. That story was about a rich man who was arrogant and a beggar named Lazarus who was humble, and what happened to them when they died. Jesus often taught using parables which were stories that people could easily relate to in understanding spiritual things. The best definition I have heard of the word “parable” is: “an earthly story with a heavenly meaning”.
      I think it was a common name."
