The hardest part of the lyn team is luna killing the mid boss. Because if you do too much dmg you will trigger it's passive. To get around this you have to tinker a lot with prilia's artifacts. Remove all add dmg, giver s1 and s2 crt dmg a not s3. Her dmf needs to be as consistent as possible
The reason this team fails in the non deborah variant is cuz the moment prilea doesn't def break in those trash waves, julie doesn't kill 1 of the golems. Mephisto gains extra 20% damage if an enemy or ally dies during the wave: That's allowing him to kill the wave after julie s3. You could probably make him oneshot regardless of that. But then you need an insane mephisto and really strong artifacts for "+damage dealt on water element"
The team can also fail unfortunately if you miss the def break on the boss/midboss because it messes up your cooldowns even if you can tank the earthquake
Just tried with lucifer an euldong instead of mephisto and deborah. Even lower rune requirements. Averages about 20,5 sec as long as defbreak lands. Had some issues with luna not killing the mid boss every run so have to play around with runes a little more.
I noticed for myself that a lot of add dmg on Julie isn't great because you do more dmg on the Golems but the crystals have a lot more hp and Mephisto s2 is inconsistent. Try to give Julie trash artis without add dmg that fixed it for me.
I run a Julie, Mephisto, Lyn, Luna and Wind Harpie and I need to say it needs rly good runes if you dont do the tuning with the 50% hp. Only Issue I got is that I cant get the Giant at the end to a perfect hp range to that Lyn will always S3 him to nuke him even though she got a killshot with s3
Sorry if you covered this in the video and I missed it. Mephisto also has a "too much damage" factor here as well. I tried the deborah team before and my Luna wouldn't 1-shot the mid-boss. I thought she wasn't runed with enough damage but I looked at your Luna and saw that mines had more atk and CD and realized that it was because my Meph was bringing mid-boss below 50%. So I reduced Meph's damage and Luna is able to 1-shot. But I also saw that Meph wouldn't kill the golem sometimes in wave 1 or 3 so I'm trying to tinker with artis to get him to do enough damage to 1 shot wave 1/3 golems but little enough damage to not bring mid-boss below 50% lol. The struggle is, Meph will only bring mid-boss below 50% if Prilea and Julie use the correct attack so it's not an easy test. Also, I know you mentioned that a missed def break can result in a failed run... I'm curious what your success rate is over 90 runs? I think mid-boss has 70% res so Pril needs 55% correct? I think I'm seeing 1 fails every 60 runs or so, and I'm curious to see if maybe I'm doing something wrong or if you're seeing something similar. Edit: Here are my observations of a few small details of things that can go wrong while using the Deborah team. -Luna doesn't kill Mid-Boss due to it being 50% hp when Luna hits by reducing damage on Prilea. Explanation: Since it's hard to control Julie and Mephesto damage, the best way to ensure mid-boss doesn't go below 50% when Luna is up is by reducing Prilea's damage to almost nothing. -Luna doesn't kill Mid-Boss even if it is above 50%. Solution: increase damage on Luna (+water arti goes a long way here) or add fight sets. Alternatively you can try to increase damage on Mephesto but you risk bringing the mid-boss below 50%. -Mephesto doesn't use S2 (imperfect AI) to clean up golems on waves 1 and 3, OR Mephesto doesn't kill the golems with S2 on waves 1 and 3 because they are 50% health. -Prilea misses Def Break on wave 1 or 3, bringing a golem below 50% health so Meph doesn't 1-shot the golem, OR Meph doesn't 1-shot the golems even when they are >50% health. Solution (as explained by Lex) - more damage on Mephesto but also increase HP on Deborah and Prilea (+hp on other team members help too but these two are easiest to rune +hp). Since Meph's S2 does more damage with more team HP, increasing team HP is another way to ensure his S2 1-shots the golems.
Hi, account owner here. Prilea would need 35% acc, since giants caps at 50% resist. A tip to make mephisto do enough damage to kill the waves, but not bring the mid boss below 50% is to not put a lot of damage (or any) to prilea and stack as much hp on deborah (and prilea) as you can. It takes a bit of fine tuning but once you get it down it does the same every single run. A fail does happen from time to time, i would say it is indeed around 1 fail per 60 runs. Your run can lose if prilea misses defence break at the mid boss. Missing defence break at the final boss usually still ends up as a win, prilea will def break on the second turn she takes and mephisto clears up most of the time.

Actually with good runes it can run as fast as with deborah, I guess the avg might be a few milliseconds slower cause you dont always oneshot midboss with luna. I got 20.200 seconds without deb

its hard to make fail safes with this team :< but if mephisto can 1v1 the boss for a bit more it could help. This can be done by adding more hp or -water dmg on him.

wonder what’s going on. my mephisto is fully skilled up , +1614 atk , 237 cd with enough cr and he takes 6134 hp from the rest of my team while this one takes 8393. yet barely hits for 10k while the one in this vid is hitting for 20k … i’ve got full towers guild is lvl 28 , 5 fight sets on team , artifacts are alright . maybe there’s a threshold with the hp scaled damage
Sounds like your julie is doing too much damage. Rune optimizer doesn't take "critdamage good" and "critdamage bad" into account when calculating damage numbers. So try to check if you have that on your current julie artifacts and either gem those lines out for something useless like "-critdamage received" or try the team with different julie artifacts

In the case you don't have Luna and need to use Homun, what I did was use either a Konamiya or Teon, and tune it to go right after the homun to boost/attk power buff it to immediately clear mid boss and final boss (needs full skillups). I run a double Garuda team in my Teshar team, with the average of 26 seconds on okay runes and only 3 fight sets. Kona/Teon can be done without Teshar too.
does anyone know what the min speed of luna has to be such that i can lap the mid boss if i dont kill with s3 so that i can use s2 to finish it. dont rly understand spd ticks but my prelia is +122

For lowest rune requirement yes. i go from 25 to 30 just because changing arti on my teshar. I think it will faster if add more damage, sadly it just trigger mid boss passive
