As someone with CFS, I'm finding that pursuing things I'm passionate about, staying consistent with my music, graphic design, just keeping my brain ticking with new ideas and the satisfaction that comes from executing. This is going a long way towards my healing!
    Dont neglect the spiritual component!

Do you experience brain fog? What I'm trying to get at is that how do you do these things when the brain is in very poor shape. If that's your case anyway...

I have had hardship my entire life and I find it very insightful when someone on the other end of the spectrum is aware of their blessings. This is a great video I saved it to my chronic fatigue playlist

Thanks Harrison! I'm in my first crash since I joined the programme (thanks sinusitis) & I found your honesty about anxiety spirals very helpful. I needed to get back on the horse a bit, & remind myself of what I do have power over, & ask what I can do to help myself today. I need to accept this as a time of rest & a time to improve my overall health.

Wow, Harrison! What an amazing young man, with such wisdom!
I can relate to so much of what you said. Like you described your old self, I too, never used to be able to relax, & now I've been forced to lie around all day with this illness! (But my personality means I'm often doing something productive, at the same time as being on my bed, paying bills, answering emails and whatever I can manage, until I feel really awful!) I'm now trying to incorporate some deep rest sessions, like NSDR into my day. I have a lot of work to do to find my base-line!
Your story is inspirational. Congratulations on your recovery and all the best for your future! 😊
Thanks for the recovery interviews, Toby, they are truly helpful. 🙏

Thanks Harrison! An inspiring story 😊 So glad you've recovered. What you said about learning to rest... I'm sure that's a skill that will give you a real edge in the future. I'm 53 and I've had LC for 3 years. Until I became ill I don't think I'd ever rested. To my detriment!!

Toby. My anxiety and fear and fatigue is so severe, how does one follow along when so debilitated ? I can barely attend a doctors app.

I am in bad shape. Can't figure out what is going on. I have all kinds of things going on. Had EBV, that explained a lot. However, I am just not getting better. Aches and pains. Headaches, Bach aches, sensitive lymph nodes. Two months already.... miserable. The worst was the eye pain which has improved. However, I really just find life so hard.

After listening to the podcast, Harrison sounds like my son who comes from a background of athleticism and sport. These were my sons go to for things he enjoyed to do. He doesn’t enjoy art and crafts, puzzles, reading etc. I heard Harrison describing some of the things he did because he couldn’t do sport anymore but my question is - those things he suggested don’t take up much time to do when you’re trying to fill 12/14 hours per day. Can I ask what he did I between all those moments of stretching etc? My son really struggles with this so he distracts himself by playing games on the computer if he’s able or watching movies or RUclips videos. Doing this doesn’t make him feel any worse than he currently does.
