Im a Manchester United fan and we had a lot riding on this game, but big respect for those crazy Irons. The fans carried them to that very exciting and deserved 3-2 victory. I feel it was a privilege for United to be involved in that very historic game. I will forever respect West Ham United for their passion. Ive never heard a crowd sing that loudly or passionately before, not even Liverpool with YNWA.
Funny enough, I'm a lifelong Gooner too. I was drawn into, if you like, the nostalgia thing. I managed to attend the Swansea game (which would have been the last Boleyn game, if it hadn't been for the rearranged Man Utd fixture) through a Welsh friend of mine. I also got to the Liverpool cup replay back in February, a great game. I wanted to sample the West Ham 'Way' while it still existed. I'm frankly amazed that all I've heard is great things about the new stadium, a place where to get from the dugout to the pitch you need to catch a bus!
RAVEN AK47 I was more aiming that at the United fan, I like West Ham, they're in my opinion the only team that rival liverpools atmosphere and passion in the pl, I meant no insult to West Ham when I say that the YNWA against Dortmund was louder and more passionate, I don't think that passion had much to do with the fans I just think it's the fact that YNWA is a much more passionate song then forever blowing, just my opinion based off of the way it's sang and so on
So the owner's could make million's on propperty development. 90% of us did'nt want to go, told a lie, by the 3 stooges. Was told East Stand could'nt be developed or extended. Yet now on same area, they build 4 or more block's of flat's. Have'n to create road's over old one, that they said could'nt be built on.
I'm forever blowing bubbles, Pretty bubbles in the air, They fly so high, nearly reach the sky, Then like my dreams they fade and die. Fortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere, I'm forever blowing bubbles, Pretty bubbles in the air".
They made me singing along with them , i've got goosebumps :) one of the best chants and supporters in England, Gotta thank Green Street Hooligans for making me fan of WestHam
I can't imagine who would renounce to 112 years of history, to an amazing atmosfphere, to a FOOTBALL stadium that is still much more modern than all the stadiums we have in Italy to go and play in an OLYMPIC stadium. Seriously, at upton park you were "in" the field with the players, now you are much further the pitch
@@ZZKuL4 we were told there wasn't enough space to expand the east stand. Then they went and turned it into flats and added 4 or more EXTRA blocks onto places they said couldn't be built on. You can probably guess the reason why they said that..... Money
As an Everton fan, it truly saddens me that this will never be seen again and the fact that one day soon Everton will no longer play at Goodison park.....this brought a tear to my eye, football is more than a game, good luck always to a proper club like West Ham!
Genuinely happy I went this place for millwall vs West Ham multiple times I remember in the 90s we won 3-0 I think and on the way back from East Ham we derailed the train because we were celebrating to much good old times
Likewise my friend I like city 👏 I remember Man City winning the league against Westham at the ethiad and you lot all came on the pitch and instead of rubbing the loss in our faces you came over and applauded our fans and for that I’ll always have a special bond with city fans
@@rjboxing460 I was at that game too....got on the pitch at the end but instead of heading to your lot I just walked around....wanted to see how it all looked from pitch level..... I lived in London for a bit in my early 20s and spent New Years Eve 2013 in the Queens. Completely welcome as an outsider and probably the best NYE I've ever had. Best of luck for this season, would love to see you doing well.
I wish I was old enough to remember and go to the boleyn ground. Ive only been once, it was in the betway cup againts werder brennan (idk how to spell that). I wish I could have experienced it more. I've been to the London Stadium plenty of times, as recently as West Ham v Brighton. And I can't tell if the atmospheres worse or better as I don't have anything to compare it to 😢
A crime leaving that ground for what exactly for 3 stooges have no ambition putting there own money in building a purpose built stadium for the fans. A big part of west ham died that night.
Does Bubbles loiter outside kings cross at about 2am most mornings, or is that a different bubbles im thinking of? Isnt it about time you lot found a song that didnt include 'pretty bubbles'!! You must be embarassed singing that song, unless your all children or girls. Ive never unerstood the term 'southern shandy drinking fairies! Ha ha
We have been singing that song for nearly a hundred years, I don’t think are too many if any clubs in the world that can say that. That song to us, is like the Star Spangled banner to American!
The only person embarrassed here is you mate. It’s not about blowing bubbles, it’s about sticking with our club through thick and thin, rain or shine, no matter how much we win or how much we lose. Maybe your thick brain was too stupid to understand that metaphor. Probably a United fan....
Being a football fan isn't about winning all the time. It's about sticking with the team you love for life through whatever . Yes west ham haven't won't anything in a long time but we still love our club probably more than fans that win stuff every year .. It's our home and I will miss it
I go down there quite a lot over the years. only twice recently tbhThe atmosphere is terrible as it is at every prem ground now.Unless itsa game under the lights or Spurs/Chelsea the atmosphere is awful . Even the team has to be playing well for the fans to make a noise.itsthe same at every club though! when you charge as much as they do to get in the working classes and youth are struggling to make itAnfield is a library unless its a big game, same at OTthe other London clubs are just as bad as west ham. It is sad west ham are leaving UP but it aint an excuse to start spouting nonsense about the atmosphere therethat's what those lads at west ham fan TV do on their channel

RAVEN AK47 haha agreed buddy
I'll just recommend you looking up some chants of Hajduk, they're the real deal ;)
What an earth were they thinking leaving this great stadium behind? - CFC fan
A huge mistake and a massive regret for them.

Owners haven’t got a clue
Wasn’t through choice! Sodding Dildo brothers!
@signoguns as an American I love football and sick of fellow american billionaires destroying clubs one by one.

Wasn't by choice, we were tricked
@@Jets_Archive What do you mean? You were tricked as fans, or as club? And how? Just curious.

As a West ham fan, do everything in your power to stay at goodison. Before it's too late.
But just in case savour every game, once you can go to games again!
Thanks mate that’s touching 👍
