This person made a what is called a veam antenna as in aignal thats in line of sight or in-line to the antenna, the parabolic pizza dish acts like a reflector, possible yes, that many channels maybe just depends on how many tv broadcasting stations are in line of sight ( so to say ) and also a signal booster, but any coax in multiples of a certain length can be used as an antenna, even a simple piece of a coat hanger works but only is you assemble it properly and place it properly, as for range or distance well that also depends on atmospheric conditions and time of year, possible i say yes but will take it with grain of salt lol, and my credentials well i use to make ham radio antennas, install and set up t.v. towers and satelute dishes, radio operator and repair tech.
