The theory which makes most sense to me is that if they were to re-sell her then they could get more if she is ‘whole’, even just for parts. A hand with 5 mismatched fingers is still better than one with 4 fingers.
new vegas has the best storyline, 4 has the best modern engine and settlement building and just got a next gen update, and 3 is a mix of both, and 76 is fallout 4 with friends. And ALL Fallout games have 3rd person modes :)
@@TTVTheDoctorJay They're hard to get into nowadays, yeah, I hope they get a remaster or something like that. Just fixing a couple of mechanics and the in-game UI would go a long way. That said, they're worth going through at least for the story and the writing. New Vegas is the only modern Fallout that reaches the same highs, 3 and 4 felt like they were made by people who liked the aesthetics and nothing else.
Every game is more or less independent of each other, but they all follow each others lore. You can drop into any game safely without having played the previous. I’d recommend starting at either 3, 4 or New Vegas. Fallout 1 and 2 are quite old and isometric, however they are still very good so if you can get past how old it is then you’d like them. My first was fallout 3 and I highly enjoyed it, but New Vegas is my favorite. If you want a game closer to this setting then I’d play New Vegas.
To prevent nausea for first person shooters, there's usually a setting for head Bob or motion that says specifically to reduce motion sickness. It's usually turned off by default.
When Vanessa said; "Kill them with kindness"it reminded me of my Assault rifle in Fallout 4. When your at a weapons bench you are allowed to name your weapon. I named my Assault rifle; "Kindness". 😀😇
so some people turn into ghouls when exposed a lot of radiations. most will die, sometimes those that turn into ghouls turn feral instantly or later. there are some ghouls from when the bombs dropped that still haven't turned feral though.
YOu can switch between first and third person whenever you want in Bethesda games. Personally I use first person for shooting, third person for melee and running around.
New Vegas baby! Look, controls, its a little antiquated, stiff. There's no sprint or run button. But, there is VATS, which is Fallouts auto-targeting mechanic. It is tied to your characters stats, but it really really helps in terms of shooting where and what you want and not missing because you a'int elite with that FPS aiming. especially up close.
All the fallout games from 3 on let you choose a 3rd person view, I believe. But it tends to look like you're ice skating a foot above the ground in 3 and New Vegas. 4's version is a little less silly
I'm pretty sure the Snip-Snip gave Lucy a new finger, because of his primary medical programming, and then he went to harvest her organs because that was how he was reprogrammed. Basically just the order of operations in his programming.
Snip Snip saw a human in discomfort and did his best to make her comfortable. He IS a Mr. Handy robot at base, and his basic programming is to see to the needs and comfort of the humans in his care. That mandate might be in conflict with his orders to harvest her organs, but when did machine logic ever make sense to a human being?
Since you don't have a lot of free time, I would recommend going straight into Fallout 4. New Vegas is a terrific story but runs on older graphics. Same reason I would skip Fallout 3. Now if you had tons of time, I would recommend FO3, FO:NV and FO4 in order. They are all terrific in their own ways. I am a solo player so I have never played FO76, the MMORPG. I cannot speak for it or against it.
New Vegas is the best. Has a great storyline and so many different factions to join and endings to get. I'm replaying it right now. Plus it would be best to familiarize yourself with the situation there. That's all I'm going to say...
I usually recommend Fallout 4 to new players because it's not as heavy on the RPG elements, has the best gunplay, and weapons/armor doesn't deteriorate. It's typically easier to get into that one than the others. But New Vegas is the best one.
Some of those robots are bad and some are really good from what I remember. You have to figure it out first or I think you can eventually reprogram them
Nothing is perfect, the fnger is probably just to fool the audience for a few minutes before revealing the insidious intent of the robot. Another one I noticed is why is the Ghoul at the end collecting Viles and putting them in his hat when they are already inside a carry on you can take.
First person is best. But you can go third person to peek around corners or play if you prefer. I'd start with 4 if you're into modern gaming. It's a decade old and it shows, but it is the most approachable for a newcomer. If you like that, then go back to 3 and New Vegas. My $.02
I can't agree. If I started with 3, I probably never would have played anything after it. When I started with 4, I got so entrenched in the lore, I immediately started 3 and NV. I've got 1000+ hours in 4 (my first FO) and still enjoy both 3 and NV. But that's just my opinion.
Eveyone is going to say start with New Vegas. Dont do that unless you will only ever play one Fallout. Let Fallout 3 get you into it, then do New Vegas. If youre still hungry for more, do 4
ive only played some of fallout 4 but it gave me the worst motion sickness ive ever had from a video game. you can change it to 3rd person over the shoulder but the fov is still suuuuuuper close and you have to change it using commands (no option in the settings menu)
Hi folks, just wanted to see what you think about the George Lucas return to Star Wars? Your fellow you tubers have talked about it but wanted to see what you think. I've enjoyed your SW reactions. From Texas
Yeah, too bad Disney in the new not nice word of today relating to Star Wars. I know your fellow you tuber got excited when he interviewed that guy that was involved in EP 5 saying George had something "going". But we'll see. I know I get excited when new drums come out or some other drum accessory and hearing of its "great" usage and then getting to try it out and being very disappointed. We'll see what happens. Thanks for your reactions !
I am certain that the reason the Mr Handy gives her a finger first is that the two "dudes" only have rewritten the stuff they need. So he still have programming telling him to fix injuries that mall visitors have (he is programmed to be the in-mall physician).
The robot knows that it will be harvesting organs. It makes much more sense that a replacement hand/arm with 5 working fingers is worth a lot more than one with 4 fingers, even if the fifth finger is mismatched.

I think Snip Snip gave Lucy a new finger because he's a robot, and just saw something broken that needed fixing.
The theory which makes most sense to me is that if they were to re-sell her then they could get more if she is ‘whole’, even just for parts. A hand with 5 mismatched fingers is still better than one with 4 fingers.
Besides: Snip Snip is a fallout robot - they are always like that! First they will take care of you and then they will cut you in pieces
he's probably programmed/given orders to "Look after the inventory"
better resale price if shes whole tho
Ghouls are basically humans who mutated instead of died due to radiation poisoning.
new vegas has the best storyline, 4 has the best modern engine and settlement building and just got a next gen update, and 3 is a mix of both, and 76 is fallout 4 with friends. And ALL Fallout games have 3rd person modes :)
Fallout 1 and 2 are great and only 3rd person.
@@youperguy I thought they were isometric (I guess that's 3rd person as well)
@@youperguy I tried playing Fallout 1 and couldn't get into it. But Timothy Cain the OG creator of Fallout 1 is an amazing dude!
I reccomend also Fallout 1 and 2 (the second one is better) and Fallout Tactics - more a tactical combat game than a rpg

Late to the Party, You're the best! I subscribed because I love your content!

Being late the party is da best, also the BEST COMES LAST. Keep it up Robert and Vanessa.
I don't want to set the world on fire!

Tried that on most games. Still doesn't help.
@@LatetotheParty If it a beth game it gonna have 3rd person lol
@@LatetotheParty 1st or 3rd person view are both available for you to choose.
@@SnaFubar_24 I mix both of these - 3rd person to explore, 1st person in combat
@@LatetotheParty Have you tried VR?
Fallout 1 & 2 are isometric (or at least a type of isometric) Fallout 3, NV & 4 can be played in 3rd or 1st person.

Yoo, I do the same!
4 has the best visuals and gunplay, New Vegas has the best story elements, and 3... works sometimes 🤣🤣
1 and 2 are better than all of them. One NV is passable amongst the new ones.
I love Matt Berry from The I.T. Crowd before anything else.
I think I first met him in what we do in the shadows hehe I flipped when I saw him
There's no fudge here. He could read a phone book, a dictionary, a thesaurus, anything boring as hell, and it would be hilarious!
“Why did you say that name?!”

Not Ella Purcell dominating Amazon charts with fallout and Dominating Netflix with arcane. Apple show might be next….
I feel I’ve never actually been angry bc I have in fact never peed on a wall.
All Fallout games starting with 3 allow toggle between 1st and 3rd person. 1st person is really needed for picking up and manipulating objects though.
