Conor was not on the come up when he fought khabib nor was he on the come up when he fought Dustin. Both fights was after he was champ champ. He didn’t need to do it then but still did it. But I think Wade is right that Conor learned from that last 1 with his leg snapped in half and how long it took to get back healthy

@@bengreen9967 couple things… one of my best friends growing up shared your name. He did several tours of duty overseas in the early 2000s. Few years ago lost his battle with depression and anxiety. So seeing your name threw me for a loop. (I know it’s not an uncommon name) it still caught me off guard. Second, it seems like you missed the point. The point was that Ariel has shown in the past that he will not sit on a story at the request of the UFC.

The way this reads to me is that it isn’t Connor that’s injured, but Chandler. Connor posting the training video makes me think that he’s completely fine, but chandler posting the self help quotes makes me think he is the one having a problem. Ariel talking about Connor’s history of injuries can be interpreted as him saying that one of the fighters is injured, but if it was Connor then the show would go on. Maybe I’m reading way too much into the clues that Wade put out but I still think that it’s Chandler.
They would have announced that and set up a new opponent for Conor dude. That’s what this event is all about. Conor’s comeback, not the fact it’s against chandler💀💀. He can fight anyone and it’s still a huge event

Idk why tf they can’t just come out and say why it was postponed. If one of them is injured or whatever the reason is, it should be clarified as to why. As much as I love Connor. I think the leg break was such a major injury for him that I feel like it hasn’t fully healed. Combined with the alleged coke and booze consumption over his inactive period, I think his body just isn’t ready for the fight. As much as I’d love to see him back in the octagon, he has the fame, money and other business opportunities (whisky/acting etc) is his heart really in it and does he still have that dog in him to fight for legacy? Hopefully I’m 100% wrong and he goes back to the machine he was, but my heart says that he done with it.

The UFC announcing injury has never been a problem. There is clearly an issue with Conor (hence partying looking strung out / the substance abuse just in the last 6 months). All the MMA media (i.e. Ariel didn't know or say shit but waffle) are doing is trying to not upset Dana in case the fight happens. The lack of specific comment from the UFC (and Chandler not even being in Dublin a couple of days before) suggests they're hiding something able to jeopardise the fight - but hoping they can work around it before announcing a total cancellation. Note, you can no longer buy tickets for the fight online...
