It's an unusual experience for me, to purchase more oracle decks than tarot decks so far this year, but I think the oracle market is transforming with some exceptional publications now around - and I really need more bookshelf space haha. I call it the Oracle Industrial Complex……. Endless decks with the same old key words over and over, usually lacking much depth, promoted under the guise of healing, exploring your spirituality, diving into your shadow etc, however, instead it feels like it’s pump ‘em out and rake in the cash……. I’ve learned to be discerning when buying Oracle decks as I have quite a few that fit the description above. As you say, there’s a place for them in this harsh world, but really I don’t need endless amounts of those types of decks. Thanks for this in-depth review. Lovely pairing with the Gaian!
Ha ha - the Oracle Industrial Complex 😂 if I wouldn't laugh I'd cry! I think I have around 10 oracle decks, and can't see that vastly expanding for exactly the reasons you outline. But when I find a good one, it is a rare moment of joy and delight. So far this year, I have the Cantigee and Weavers Oracle as my top favourites 😊
Such an apt label-the OIC! I agree, I have only found a few that really go deep. Need to mention-the wisdom of the shadow and the wisdom of the divine feminine decks are wonderful, as well the the 3 decks by Deborah Koff-Chapin. And number 1 is Spirit de la Lune. I want all of these decks on the deserted island! Blessings to all. ❤
@@WhitsundayOracle the Spirit de la Lune w will not be reprinted (from my understanding as the artists have split) I bought a second deck as backup, which I have never done! It's like a tarot and oracle deck in one, and I absolutely love my readings with it. They're incredibly complex and insightful. If you get a chance, watch a walkthrough.

I wasn't sure about this deck but it has been said over and over the juice is in the guidebook. I ordered and loved it so much that I am looking at my oracles and seriously thinking of giving so many of them away as this deck has impressed me so much that the others I own just don't compare. Yes I echo your sentiments - it is just so different isn't it, and the guidebook gives lots to think about. I think it will take me quite some time to really explore it in depth, which is fine by me 😊
