In full honesty, I own two pairs of Doc Martens Jadon boots- a vegan and a regular (non-vegan) pair- the quality of the regular pair is just so much better
@@user-gc8so9vf4d that’s my approach as well - leather can “repair itself” in a way and simply lasts longer My thinking is: a thick leather jacket can protect you from almost all weather conditions (it can even lower the impact of a knive) and it is able to last a lifetime, compared to most other clothing made from fabric - if one compares the amount of water needed,the possible exploitation of workers and all the other negative environmental consequences (possibly animals dying because of chemicals) that the production of alternative jackets (plural because i’d consider other jackets to be more fragile) causes compared to a leather one, it would be more
