Thanks for your comment and for your compliment about my english. Accent is unavoidable, but I've been to english school for sooooo many years and did so much homework lol. Yes, Wilkinson should pay me, lol.
I had an issue on an Harley Benton with one of these Trems where I couldn’t get the action I wanted because the bridge would then sit on the body of the guitar. I put in a couple shims on the neck and then I was able to raise the height of the bridge to pull back a full step and I thankfully did not have to mod the body and risk the paint chipping since it is a nice metallic finish.
Muito obrigado for posting this in English! It seems impossible to find any official Wilkinson installation instructions for this Trem. I'm installing into an "SE" edition Squier Strat which is supposed to have the same dimensions as a regular strat so I'm hoping it will line up okay. I'm going to do a flush mount though or slightly floated so I won't have to rout the body. In the U.S. we say "fingernail polish" for finger paint.
Thanks for your comment. You should be fine, since this bridge is very flexible and has individual saddles heights. The key is making a good template. Thanks for the "fingernail polish", too.
Good post bud. This shows exactly what i wanted to see. And the pivot poles drill right into the 2 outer screw holes on the 6 screw bridge. exactly what I thought, but you can't get a straight answer from anyone about that.
Thanks for your comment. I didn't know where to drill, so I measured and calculated everything. If I had that information before, I'd had started that way.

Good set of instructions Question, how do you intonate with there being no spring loaded screws ? Now I understand..intonate it as you would a Floyd Rose bridge. Thanks
Hi! nice Job! I have a question, what model this trem is? Wilkinson/Gotoh VS100 N or Wilkinson WVS 50 iiK? Because of the color of the pivots (gold) it seems to me that is a WVS 50 IIK trem bridge.
Muito bom! Tenho uma tagima strato JA3 (do juninho afram) e a ponte tem esse problema de desafinar muito, além de ter enferrujado muito rápido, pensando em trocar por este modelo que vi no aliexpress.
I would love to have a vegatrem in my guitar but it's too expensive. This is way cheaper than vegatrem. I'm plunning to buy one, I hope this will do the work
I had this trem on a Strat. Cheap and it stays in tune. It's baffling that guitarists pay over a hundred dollars for a Hipshot trem and this is dirt cheap and works every time. Thanks for the video and I plan on buying another Wilkinson for my Mex Strat.
Bacana o vídeo, comprei uma dessa devido o espaçamento entre as cordas ser de 10,5 mm e outros modelos Wilkinson by Gotoh serem 10,8 e a alavanca ser encaixada e não rosqueada.

Hello Sir, I've got one simple quiestion: Can the saddle be moved left and right or only forward and backward?
Only forward and backwards, that means you need to get the direction right.
@@LuthieriadeBanheiro thank you for answering, greetings from Poland!!! 👍

Is the bar threaded where it attaches to the Wilkinson WVS50IIK bridge?
No, it's not threaded!
I will try this like you do
Good luck! Spend a good time making the template.
how to find out where to drill the holes for the two studs ? Are they in the same distance from the nut as the original 6 holes??
Well, thanks for your comment. Finding the holes it's the whole job, actually.
What string gauge did you use? I use 11-48, I'm thinking if it needs different springs than the original! Great job btw!
I use 10s. To go for 11s you'll just need to increase the spring tension a bit. No big deal.
