  • Exciting news for full arch doctors using stackable workflows, especially with CHROME GuidedSMILE. One of the main concerns with stackable guides is the turnaround time, which can be stressful for both doctors and patients eagerly awaiting surgery.
ROE Dental Laboratory has addressed this issue by speeding up the fabrication process for their patented CHROME GuidedSMILE, an all-metal stackable guide. With perfect records submitted and verified while the patient is present, ROE can now deliver these metal guides back to doctors in approximately 14 business days.
Additionally, ROE offers another stackable system called GuidedSMILE Lite, which utilizes 3D printed acrylic. While it may not provide the same level of visualization, irrigation, and compactness as the metal CHROME GuidedSMILE, it still maintains accuracy and follows the same stackable workflow. The advantages of GuidedSMILE Lite include faster turnaround times and a more economical option for price-conscious patients.
ROE Dental Laboratory invites full arch doctors to switch to ROE services for faster and better results.

Hi Ahmetkula. Great question. In the world of guided full arch surgery, where the lab is planning and manufacturing everything, 14 days is very fast. That's receiving and analyzing the records, implant planning the case, conducting the online meeting with the doctor, and, upon approval, going to manufacture with a robust QC step at the end. Some of the other guided options on the market are now quoting somewhere between 30-40 business days.
Of course if you are willing to 3D print the resin components in-house then this can be significantly quicker. Quite possibly we could cut this time in half. The downside is that the doctor is now liable to ensure that all parts printed properly and stack appropriately since you are the person that printed them.
The third approach is using the GuidedSMILE plugin within the RealGUIDE software. If you have mastered all of the technology required you could, hypothetically, go to surgery in as little as 4 days. That is you doing everything (plan, design & manufacture) with GuidedSMILE doing the QC step necessary to ensure your implant plan and guide design will be effective. Definitely doable for one or two surgeries but that rate of pace would be exceptionally difficult to maintain in the long run.

@@ahmetkula7 Sorry for the delay in response (I was on vacation). Thank you so much for your kind words. We are big fans of this product also. We do have a webpage on it (www.roedentallab.com/products/chrome-guidedsmile/guidedsmile-lite/) but you are right we do need to publish more cases on it since we have been developing and refining it over the last number of years. Thanks again
