I just like this female lead very cautious and playful even though qu xiaso is her friend she doesn't give him any details like she being careful... Very good of her helping him in secret without anyone's knowledge.
I know it's a 'fantasy' drama, but really, the writers make the characters SO blind, deaf and cruelly vengeful. The murderers and betrayers win over and over again, and the good guys barely escaping...over and over and over and over again! It's tiresome and now, BOring... And our love birdies haven't even really kissed yet or consummated their marriage, let alone declared love for one another. The Psycho Bitch feeding the Prince her blood as a cure for poison is literally keeping him poisoned so she can 'save' him. It's Munchhausen Syndrome...a mental disorder where the Muncher makes the person sick to bring attention back to her when she 'saves' him...a cruel mental illness where it harms everyone who gets in her way.
What’s the point of watching if only good guys win? What I like about this show is that there aren’t exactly good or bad guys. The heroes are flawed, and the antiheroes have their humanistic sides. All characters make their choices that seem justified from their perspectives. As for the psycho bitch you brought up, she isn’t keeping the prince poisoned. She poisoned herself so her blood can be used as a temporary antidote to the poison in the prince. Using poison as a medicine has been a big theme so far in this drama and it actually has medical proof
Correction: the English in a lot of the episodes of this drama does not make sense. Unfortunately, I don't speak Mandarin, so I probably often miss the point.
