- How to assemble a climbing wall at home for children
If you want to encourage yourself to know how to set up a climbing wall at home for children, we will tell you about our experience and show the process on video.
We already had some holds mounted on a wall, now we went further and mounted panels with more climbing holds to expand the climbing space.
Setting up a climbing wall at home is not easy depending on how you want to set it up, if you want an indoor climbing wall, an outdoor climbing wall, or if you just want a small space to hang out and play for children, in each case it will require one or the other materials, we are going to show you how we did it and that the climbing wall that we have made is valid for children and adults.
Where do you want to install the climbing holds?
In a first installation we made the climbing wall on an external concrete wall, in this type of normally vertical walls it is easy to install the dams, since we already have the surface and structure to place the dams.

Buen video, quizás ha faltado explicar un poco el material que usáis para anclar a la pared, pero bueno también es echarle imaginación y que no te lo den todo masticado, yo hace tiempo que quiero hacer uno pero nunca encuentro el momento y es una buena liada😂
Hola, si falta entrar en detalles, pero es que no quisimos, pues luego ya llega alguien diciendo que eso no esta bajo normativa 🤣 que se rompe, oxida o tira la pared, yo que se, así que a veces aunque pese o no cubra TODO, que esa es otra... es mejor no entrar tanto en ello y como bien apuntas ya cada uno con los medios que deje correr la imaginación y con lo que tenga, el dinero que quiera invertir, ganas y su propia ubicación decida la mejor solución para su caso... si no es que puff... así que animo y a por ello que seguro que encuentras la manera propia de dar forma al rocódromo de la mejor manera. Y si es una buena liada, hace falta ganas, tiempo y pasta al final sales zurrado por todo. Saludos
He estado mirando como hacerme yo también uno así, pero mi duda es si le has puesto cadena o algún cordino a la parte de abajo de la madera? Y la otra es si se mueve algo la madera una vez que vas escalando? Gracias 😊
Abajo no pusimos cadena o cordino va apoyado en una superficie de hierro grande, tuvimos que reforzar la madera pues pesa mucho el tablero y las presas que no deja de ser arena con resina para evitar que se arquease un poco. Moverse algo pero no mucho. Saludos
