    I'm guessing this bar is a holding stop for cows heading onwards to other places based on how packed in they are?

      It's a finishing barn. Last stop before harvesting.

      I don’t really know exactly what your asking but their is pit fans the so called basement and if there were any gasses they would get blown out with the air moving through the barn

    What is the lowest tempature you have in winter time? Is it possible that the manure starts to freeze?

      No the micro bacteria will keep it warm enough unless it gets around -30°F

    How do you keep the water lines from freezing?

    • @joshuavocke3850
      @joshuavocke3850 Год назад

      I know it’s a year later but they won’t freeze because those water fountains are automatic so everyone a cow takes a drink it refills the trough back to plum full, as many cows as are in their they water doesn’t have anything to sit hardly because it’s moving to the water tanks so it doesn’t have time to freeze I hope that made sense

    how do you mix all the Manure? it would be nice to see a follow up Video of that Barn in a year, and a Testimonial how they pump out that Manure...

    • @k2sengineering954
      @k2sengineering954  3 года назад

      They typically use three to four pumps at the same time, annually. Two to three for stirring and one for pump out.

      I'm not there but I'd say you'd be looking at between 1.5 to 2.5 million

    Do you have add water in basement of that barn before cattle start shit in it to get shit float ??

    • @tc5963
      @tc5963 3 года назад

      This drains all the liquids. The solids are suppossed to stay on top

    • @suttonstluka3921
      @suttonstluka3921 3 года назад

      @@tc5963 but a lot settle on the bottom and that’s where all the nutrients but yes some does float to the top and create a crust

      You stir it before you pump it to mix solids and liquid
