Thank you so much for your answers. I always want to know about Angaga because we were there in December 2004 just some days before the tsunami. The reefs were WONDERFUL.
Hello and thank you for visiting my channel. Yes the reefs in the Maldives have been progressing since 2016 but more slowly than after El Nino 1998 and in addition not on each island for example Angaga is much more advanced than Nova Maldives (Vakarufalhi) yet both were very beautiful before, Safari Island too is very poor. We leave on April 7 to check the three reefs: Ellaidhoo, Safari Island and Athuruga very close to all three. Greetings.
I wanted to say that the coral reef on Angaga is recovering faster than on Nova Maldives. I noticed this when I was on these two islands at the same time last year and I knew these two islands before 2016. These two islands are next to each other and yet they do not have the same tendency to reconstruct. The same can be said when comparing Safari Island and Athuruga, and I will be there soon to confirm it. Best regards and have a nice Easter.
Yes, the reef on Vilamendhoo is very interesting, but the practice is a little complicated on the arrival pontoon side with prohibitions. We used Canon powershot G16 camera and Canon Legria HF- M36, and some sequences with GoPro Hero 8. Thank you for watching. Greetings.
If you take a package to go to the Maldives, transfers are already included, otherwise a seaplane transfer costs on average $560, depending on the distance and the company on site, go to a website of the company Trans Maldivian Airways to see more details.
Amazing house reef! We’ll be there in August 2021. Hopefully, the weather will be cooperative so I can get some beautiful photos like you did! Thanks for posting. Oh, how is the food variations? I have a picky eater in the household.
Thanks for visiting. We find the cuisine in Vilamendhoo to be good, quite pungent like in the other hotels in the region, but as there are buffets we can always find something that suits us. You have options. Happy Holidays. All the Covid restrictions discouraged us from leaving in April
hello, transfers from the airport to your hotel are organized by the hotel. If you choose your resort on the South or North Atoll (near Male) the transfer is done by boat organized by the hotel (quite On the other hand, if your choice falls on the hotel on other Atolls for example Ari, Baa or other, you have to take the seaplane, always organized by your hotel, but which has no influence on the prices set by the companies. Best regards
