As little as 20 minutes usually, but sometimes it can go for hours depending on the team. The more the strategy is understood the less time you spend discussing it. We spent an our last OKR setting as we have some big questions to work through.
Hey, so I've updated the link to point to the instrcutions on how to make your own copy. Check it out here: miro.com/app/board/o9J_kg0xY8o=/?moveToWidget=3458764563417735293&cot=14
Great question (BTW join our community if you have more qns: communitysignup.okrquickstart.com/). I like to use our simple spreadsheet, but other tools I like are Quantive, Workboard and Fitbots. Hey! I may be interpreting your question wrong, but OKR is really popular with a lot of tech firms, but beyond that it’s a little patchy. Companies looking to move fast and innovate use them, which in reality most don’t want this. They want predictable growth or stagnation. That said, we’ve worked with plenty of non-tech global businesses that fast moving. We’re working with a global pizza company who’s using OKR (can’t drop names, but there’s only a few to guess from). Another example is an international flooring business called Altro. I can’t share example OKRs, but drop a note to hello@okrquickstart.com and I’ll see if we can share some hypothetical examples👌
I know Miro has restrictions on downloading PDFs with free accounts, but not sure how valuable it is as a download. We have some Google Slides templates that are a better alternative (just let me know if you want it). Anyhow, here's the PDF of the Miro board if you want it: drive.google.com/file/d/1VHBFdnHWGV52pqGFhkdRPzwNKS7GIQMI/view?usp=drive_link
I often myself in a scenario where we can't define "measurable" KRs in the traditional sense or if we know how to measure it, we have to first define the baseline metric or setup telemetry. Would something like "Determine satisfaction rating for XYZ tool" which is more of a yes/no metric, be satisfactory?
Faced with this situation, also ask yourself "How would I know this was successful?". So, if you got one satisfaction rating, would that be enough? Probably not. So your KR might be something like "Get 200 satisfaction ratings". To your point, we don't care so much right now if they're positive or not. We just want to know what people are thinking so that we can improve it in the future.
One of the most effective tutorials I have seen on YT. Thank you so much!

Hi @okrquickstart, I am unable to duplicate the miro board (no such option as shown in the video). Could you help me with that? Thanks!
Sorry @Yoana! We made some changes today to our Miro account and messed this up. Should be working now 😀

Hi OKR, why does the global industry don't give much value to the OKRs? And If you have an example, could you share it with us?

Can't really dowwnload the board without signing up so I don't think it's really free.
