Thanks a lot for this video, I like how you explained everything thoroughly while also using the finger pointer to show what you were clicking on as you went through. This video helped a lot.
This video was EXACTLY what I needed/was looking for to upgrade my knowledge of this app. I learned SO MUCH ! The idea that I can put together a vertical spread on this app in a matter of seconds is a game changer. Thank you so much!
Awesome thank you have a lot to learn, of course but I did set up some things that you mentioned. The only thing is now I’m going to search how to set up alerts. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for the video!! Great overview of the app. Currently transfer two accounts to TOS from Schwab. TOS advanced orders for options is a must have, in my opinion! Please do more options spread videos with advanced orders (open & close). Thank you!
Thank you for this excellent video am an absolute beginner, and I feel very comfortable learning at your lecture's pace and clarity. Again thank you and keep up the good work.
Great content. Please do a video explaining the difference between OCO and a conditional order when placing a trade on the mobile app. I can't find any videos that address conditional option on the mobile app.
Great video! Can you please show me how can add to my existing trade? For example I have 5 contract of call credit spread on tesla expired 2/17 I want to add 2 more contract but once I created a new order on same expiration it show I have 1 round trip. Seem like I Just canceled out one of my old order by adding more thats why it cause a round trip message. Please help how I can add to existing trade and avoid round trip problem. Thank you very much for your help
Thanks for the tutorial. I did the best I could to follow along.. but I am lost and to how and why you picked/choose the numbers you did. I don't understand what to look for when to buy or when to sell. I had watched other stock trading videos and I guess I could understand the concept, but it was hard to follow along while putting it into action.
How do you find all accounts transactions? For example, if I wish to see dividend postings, I can’t seem to find them. Instructions say to open the “monitor” tab - but there isn’t one.
The top part of your screen was covered up by your advertiser's footer. I might have been able to follow you better if I could see your mouse pointing, moving, and clicking on every change you made. On some of the menu items, I need to know what you mean. Like Mark, my brothers name is Mark! But what in the world is Mark. With the simple moving average, I can understand the length (like the 20-day SMA), but what's the other number below asking for. I noticed it stayed on "0" throughout your tutorial. I watched it on the cell phone that I want to eventually trade on. Your big hand mouse pointer was not able to be seen when you went to click on something at the top of your screen because your sponsor had it covered up with the lower part of their ad. Same thing with the bottom of the screen. I'll work on it, but definitions need to be added to words on your menu screens by a simple hold down on the word to find out what it means, like (Mark).
It's a tab marked "Depth" when youre on the stock profile page. If you don't see you'll just need to get the free subscription on the tda website. Once you sign that you should be able to see it
I’m confused on Buy/Sell call options vs Buy/Call put options. Do you BUY “puts” when you believe the stock will go down? Or SELL puts? OR Do you only SELL “calls” and/or “puts” when you’re already are holding shares of the stock ? Thanks!
It can get a bit confusing since there are many different things you can do. But the most basic trade would be buying calls if you believed the stock was going up OR buying puts if you think the stock is going down.
If you short sell a stock do you have to have the dollar amount available in your account to cover the cost if it hits the limit price? Shorts confuse me...
Anything under government influence has regulations for confidentiality reasons and whatnot. Life comes with risk too, so if your willing to invest in yourself then this step is required into using their platform otherwise you'll get no access as thats how this system is operated including many more whom have a verified track record of legitimacy. Theres no way around these procedures unfortunately and your data is protected permanently, but think of tos as a bank rather than just brokerage because thats what they are also
Any trading brokerage online or not will require this. Uncle Sam wants you to pay your taxes on your wins, and be liable for your losses. But yeah, any and all brokerages require this.

Finally, thanks to your excellent explanation, I am going to really use TOS.
Awesome thank you have a lot to learn, of course but I did set up some things that you mentioned. The only thing is now I’m going to search how to set up alerts. Thank you again.
Updated tutorial of the TOS app. If it helped, consider hitting the LIKE button!
Great video. Out of the 15-20 videos on think or swim app this seemed to be the best tutorial.

Great tutorial. Is there a way to see an option chart that shows the live price action of that particular contract?
This was EXCELLENT, you're a great teacher, thanks!

Really we’re doing option spreads for beginners
Greetings friend. How do I remove a ticker symbol from the positions tab once a trade has been closed? Thanks for your time.
Excellent-Thank you!

When closing an Option Trade, is buying it back or selling it a part of closing it?
Selling 😊
I enjoy watching your video . thank you so much ! How you set up the level 2 in mobile app ?

What's the difference between marge account and ira account ?
What about a stock screener, is there one in this app?
Is that a margin account and what option level should you use
I got apple in my paper trading account too where is your actual td portfolio
How
Do I get the reverse button?

Great advice

Is that on an Iphone? My TOS looks nothing like that.
Is this for Android Mobile?
Can you buy and sell options on the same day? Without having ptd
Options still fall under the pdt rule. So if you buy an option and close it same day, that would count as one day trade.
Thanks.

🤣
so informative thank you!
U fire lol
This is a tutorial on How To use the app. I don't know which TOS Mobile app to download and even how to do it and set it up.
What does it mean to buy a limit order as opposed to using a stop limit?
A stop limit is for selling
Legend
Is the desktop version for ipads? Or just laptops home desktop?
The only tablets that allow the actual platform to be downloaded are the newer surface tablets. On the iPads you’ll only be able to do the app
To sign up it says to put in my ssn but idk if it's safe or not

Informative but I’m super confused super overwhelming
