- Update: I changed the video title, simply because the player is "forcing" Kris to do these actions, therefore I've sorta been making up their crush for Ralsei. Still, I think that there's a chance that Kris and Ralsei might end up together eventually, but definitely not against Kris's will.
This is an updated version of my recent 'Kralsei moments' video: • Video . Since that video came out, I decided to do an updated version, because a few more Kralsei moments appeared in the 2nd chapter, so here you go!

Don't forget that in chapter 1 if you ask the Ralsei master tips, he'll reply "I heard if you put money in that hole, Ralsei will hug you and call you honey" Ralsei will reply "Hey! You don't need money for me to do that."

Fun Fact: When you answer “No” to being ok after the fight with Spamtom NEO Ralsei will hug to comfort you, this will only happen if you hugged Ralsei on the Acid tunnel of love, does show that theres a bond there when you choose a certain action.

I mean it’s heavily implied kris actually dislikes ralsei, and the player is forcing these actions. The easiest clue alluding to this is ralseis tea healing kris just as much as it heals noelle, a complete stranger to ralsei. It’s pretty much proven that the HP value for the tea coincides with the characters connections to one another.

Player or Kris? By referring to “player” you’re saying is Ralsei is talking to the “player/soul” which is you being suspicious on Ralsei, Ralsei is facing Kris, cant make him Face in a diagonal way on this game.
Everyone says Ralsei is suspicious because of his reaction after Spamton NEO, but really, I think he just wanted to comfort Kris by reassuring them that everything is ok.
Yeah, I mean how else do you react to someone freaking out like that after something like that? Ralsei's just trying his best despite the fact that his very existence probably started with Kris and Susie going into the closet.
Idk how well this is gonna age but he's probably just trying to keep Kris calm despite him having an existential crisis, which I imagine is very hard for most regular people to do especially a guy who just sorta existed mere minutes before meeting Kris and Susie, he handled it better than most would under those circumstances imo.

I never thought anything about Kris’s name besides being an anagram of “Frisk” without the f, but being an anagram for “risk” kinda makes sense.
i love this ship in theory but the fact that none of these actions are really done by kris and ralsei is most likely aware of that makes me sad ngl

we have some evidence that kris doesn’t really like ralsei that much (Ralsei Tea is a good example of this) which makes me feel bad for kris because we’re forcing them to love up on ralsei, even if we try to avoid it as much as possible, but I also feel bad for ralsei because kris doesn’t genuinely like him.

@@itzyaboi4297 IF Ralsei actually turns out to be Asriel, then of course I would care. (Personally I don't think he is Asriel but you can think that if you want.) But I wrote the comment not to ship them but more because sometimes in chapter 2 it seems like Ralsei isn't really talking to Kris but to us and in the situation I quoted he was talking to Kris. I think it is interesting because I can imagine (not saying it will happen) that at some point in the game Ralsei will have to choose a side, us or Kris. And I find it interesting to see what Kris and Ralsei think of each other.
@@itzyaboi4297 I don't think that's possible because Toby Fox knows what he's doing with his game and so far, he's heavily implying that Ralsei has a crush on Kris and I don't believe he wants to get canceled or cause any kind of drama. That would be really illogical. I mean, he removed the controversial topics that were initially planned out for the Clover fight, so clearly, he knows what to do and what not to do. Besides, Ralsei has more similarities with Toriel than with Asriel.

6:40 - 7:10 Fun fact, In the Lackey dialogue, it doesn't matter which option you choose, Ralsei will be flattered either way.
So basically, Ralsei is like Papyrus. No matter how rude you are, it is literally impossible to offend Papyrus, because he'll always be flattered by literally anything you say.
@@taelim6599 Kinda for the opposite reason though. Papyrus simply already thinks so highly of himself and has such a high inner self-esteem that his mind will twist everything you say into an affirmation of how awesome he is. Contrary to that, Ralsei is so needy for and emotionally dependent on affirmation from the outside that he'll put you/Kris on so much of an absolute pedestal that even being your lackey becomes an honor in his eyes because it'll at least give him _some_ recognition. Essentially, Papyrus interprets everything as flattery because he's already perfectly comfortable in his role, while Ralsei interprets everything as flattery because he's still looking for any kind of role or identity Kris or the player is willing to provide, and subsequently sees _any_ kind of recognition as better than nothing. (On top of that, Ralsei actually seems to enjoy being in a subordinate or submissive position, or at least he's *really* good at giving that impression.)

i just finished chapter 2 and i’m gonna redo the entire game just to make ralsei as happy as possible, as well as explore some things i missed
I already redid the game like 3 times and I have a save point closest to the swan ride to replay that moment as it's awesome

A lot of people think that Kris doesn't like Ralsei because Ralsei Tea healed only like 60-70 hp
If you think about it Noelle Tea healed only 70-80 hp
Noelle is his childhood friend. I doubt Kris doesn't like Noelle at all. 80-70 hp and 60-70 hp is not a big difference right? Thats only like a 10-20 hp difference between Noelle and Ralsei. Pretty small of a difference. I think Kris likes Ralsei and thinks of him as a normal friend.

I don’t like tea theory but it is a sign that even though I like Kralsei it is not goin to be canon, as the tea does imply that kris does not think of ralsei has a super good friend, simply just a friend.

What if Deltarune is just the story of a teen going through puberty and discovering stuff about them, while being in control over by the player and Ralsei is just the ideal type of person to fall for? Ralsei is similar to the Dreemuurs because that's just what Kris asociates with comfort and support like a couple would give?

And then we realize that all these moments are due to the Player loving Ralsei themselves and are basically forcing Kris to do what the Player wants rather then Kris.
Cause if we remember Asgore said Kris doesn’t like hugs, even from his own family. It’s why it’s such a feat for Kris after the Spamton Neo fight when he willingly asked Susie for a hug all on their own, because that was something they chose to do. Also when Kris asked for Susie’s jacket even though Ralsei offered his scarf first.
So anytime the option pops up to interact with Ralsei, it’s never Kris choosing those options. But The Player forcing them to make those decisions.
It makes me feel really bad for Kris being controlled and forced to do things they probably don’t want to do and definitely makes me think about answering things that I feel Kris would answer themself. Rather then what I personally want to pick.
Asgore says ‘I forgot you don’t like hugs like that’ implying Kris likes hugs, just not big bear hugs. Can you people not read?

And regardless. The times he is embraced by his parents he never returns it. Meaning he’s not one to give hugs nor also receiving them. Also why are you getting worked over the fact that I said Kris may not like hugs. Seeing as they hardly speak, and keep to themselves Kris not liking hugs is totally possible.
And regardless if he likes hugs or not. Every single time Kris hugs Ralsei is the result of the Player forcing the action to occur. Liking hugs or not, Kris is still being forced to do something he has no control over.
Hence why Kris has ripped their soul out of their chest twice so he can only walk freely.
That’s the point I was making.
@@TheAngelofFate17 Sorry if I was rude, I just saw so many people seemingly forget the rest of the dialogue.
However, Asgore’s dialogue implies that kris does actually like hugs, and their interaction with Susie after Spamton Neo implies that they do like hugs from people. Still, Kris seemingly has no negative reaction to giving hugs to Ralsei. Kris also seems to start warming up to Ralsei, considering Ralsei tea heals for 60 despite only knowing him for a day or 2 and Noelle tea heals for 70.
Them not liking the players control is basically confirmed tho.
Still, we only have 2 chapters available so we’ll have to wait for more answers.

You view that Kris only likes hugs when he’s hugging Ralsei because you, yourself like Ralsei. And because of your viewpoint think that Kris does too. But Kris themself may not.
Kris being like a puppet on strings is very apparent when you beat the Spamton fight and he has a very emotional reaction to it. Kris may feel like he’s in Spamton’s situation because they to are being control. Forced to do things, forced to walk around and say things they probably don’t want to say or do, like a puppet on strings. Because the Player is making them do it, against their will.
Hence why Kris has ripped his soul out twice. They are doing it so they have control over their own actions.
Something strange (BUT I LOVED IT) happened to me in the scene where kris and ralsei are in the boat. Instead of kris having their back on ralsei, kris was facing ralsei the whole time in the boat, I was so happy idk how it happened lollll is it just me??

@@forelamp6873 That one has no real evidence besides them both being goats, though. Ralsei collapses into a pile of clothes upon being downed in battle. Susie, who if this WAS Asriel, would have the same thing happen if she's a Monster. But it doesn't. Not to mention, Asriel has a room in Queen's mansion and Ralsei doesn't. I don't like the ship by any means, but I don't think that theory has much bearing, either.

Look even if Ralsei doesn't end up being a twist villain, we cannot deny the fact he's straight up admitting he's fully aware of things he shouldn't possibly know.
He knows that the Card Town Dark World is actually a school classroom, he knows the layout of the school even though he's never been there before, he's the only one who understands game mechanics, cause while explaining how to Sprint like in a game tutorial Susie doesn't understand what he's talking about, and also showed he's aware of the players ability to take control of other party members since he straight up told us to release control of Kris to control Susie.
And another thing that keeps getting glossed over is the fact that while Ralsei a "Prince" we don't ever get any real hint as to what kingdom he's the prince of, why he's chosen to exile himself to the ruin waiting for Kris and Susie, whose names he knows already even though supposedly they only just then met, and even how old he is.
Ralsei says he's been waiting his whole life for Kris and Susie,but why? Why has he been waiting, why did he choose to wait? How long has he been waiting and most importantly how'd he know to do so?
There's a helluva lot more to him than he let's on and it's kinda creepy
