wow - you got the colours we didn’t this year 🇨🇦 the part of Ontario Canada I live in has been dull and dreary and damp - for our trees to change colours like you experienced we need sunny days and cool nights - something we just haven’t had 🇨🇦 so glad you took time from your family trip to film Mother Nature - it was like you were here and not half a world away 🇨🇦🙏

What a beautiful trip! I had to look up Tokugawa as I’m not familiar. Very interesting. There is so much rich history all around you & your family. I love that you and your husband are showing it to your children while sharing with us! That waterfall was stunning! I love learning about other cultures. I am not sure I could bathe with others in hot springs. But it’s very interesting. The leaves were beautiful. Here in upstate NY, our leaves are very beautiful too. Thank you so much for taking us on this spiritual, wondrous trip. The leaves are the same as in the UK, but you will never find our trains as clean. We can't even leave our holy places unlocked, so it is very special to visit them with you. One thing I have to tell you, that I recently found out, pores neither open or close as they don't have the ability to do so. So sorry the food in your hotel was not as good as your trip, but the room was spacious. ❤❤❤👵🏴🌹

Absolutely stunning! Northern Michigan or what is called the UP looks just like where you are at with waterfalls beautiful lakes fall colors just gorgeous. Thank you.
I remember those stairs so well.... It's a long way up and they were uneven😅 I went to Nikko in the summer about 10 years ago, to escape the Tokyo heat. We just did a day trip and walked around Nikko all day. My favourite is the Kanmangafuchi Abyss with all the Jizo statues. If you have not been there and you have time for a walk when in Nikko it's a great idea. I would love to stay at and onsen in that area. Somehow i never had a problem with the communal baths, perhaps because I grew up going to a sauna, but my husband refuses to go and my daughter is hesitant as well. Luckily my mom has no problem going to the onsen with me. The fluffy toy your boys had in teh train back home I had a child. Though they only had orange ones back then. So nostalgic.
It was a wonderful trip, I hope your family and you enjoyed it a lot!! The views of the Temple are amazing, it feels majestic regardless of the long distance. Thanks for always sharing a bit of your wonderful experiences Linna ❤

I love your videos! I have 2 questions😅 1-are those temples you visited and other places wheelchair accessible? 2- do you really bath naked among other people in public bathrooms or you can wear bathing suit or something 😮
It’s difficult to visit Nikko with wheelchair as on top of mountain and full of stairs. For public bath, it’s not common with swimsuit or bathing suit. Normally naked.
In Europe, these monkeys represent selfishness, egocentrism, ignorance and apathy of society. A completely different philosophy. Tochigi looks amazing! These shrine (I guess? ;) ), buildings, waterfalls, mountain scenery omg
