SOLO Cayo Perico Heist Guide! All Setups and Elite Challenge 100% of the time! Hopefully this helps out all of those newer players that came in during this holiday season and maybe some veterans will also learn a thing or too!
There is a death zone on west side of island kills you automatically just enter water near compound you die swimming can't use rebreather its been that way since 2022 when I started doing perico
Something that wasn't mentioned that new players probably wouldn't know is that in order to get the cutting torch, you need to scope out the drain entrance.
You make the Cayo Perico Heist look so easy. When I tried it for the first time, the final heist itself took me about 30 mins, and I failed get the elite challenge. Thanks a lot!
I did cayo perico two times a day and it was for atleast 5 days in row and 8 times i got tequila but for the other two i got pink dimond and black panther 💀
There's an even easier way to scope out cayo perico. From the airstrip run behind the hangar to the shoreline and go left along the shoreline. Boats will spawn. If not for some reason just jump in the water. Steal a boat and go straight to the main dock. Go up the incline at the shore and follow it to the water tower then cut across. Super quick n easy
Yup. Glitched my gold, did everything & was in the clear but as soon as I got the Primary the island got alerted for some reason then I took this swimming direction and ended up getting chased down, killed & losing all the take. Not coming back to cayo perico for at least 2 weeks.
@@badred3ZZ I never got chased and I never alerted anyone, swam out, swam in a z pattern. Nothing worked eventually I just got myself killed. I did it again. Exact same run, same loot same strategies even the same path and it worked, just swimming like he said. Not sure what changed but I think it’s bugged works sometimes and not others. Try it again.
Just want to say thanks so much for sharing this, I used to do the Cayo hiest all the time but it changed and my route didn't work. This works awesome and now I'm back grinding it and love it
I actually just did the cayo perico heist I did the swim away glitch but when I did it never took the words “Escape Cayo Perico” never disappeared so I think it got patch.
Learned a few ago that you can actually scope your main loots trough the camera, then get the the interaction menu and change your outfit, this will make a gold circle pop at the bottom right of your screen (Game is saving), then just start a new session and you get to the kosatka with the scope out done, no need to get caught/ die /get to the plane :)
WTF I did everything like the guide and as I was swimming away my fucking rebreather disappeared, i died, the loot stayed on the bottom of the ocean and I fucking respawned on the bottom of the ocean WTF EDIT: the guide works, I took the wrong path with the bike and got early detected. I swam away to the bottom and if you get too deep the pressure will kill you
I do not get the elite. Even with this setups, so i don't care anymore. I can do the heist without killing a single guard and complete it in around 20 min. And yes i do not kill the bike guard to escape. Tip. Make 2 characters and you can play 2 cayo's with in 2 hours. 1 for the main character and 1 for the 2e character
These Cayo videos have been super helpful for me. I had a friend run me through the heist, but there was so much I didn't understand. I learned so much as a noob, even the tip about landing the sparrow on the sub. lol. Appreciate it!

When getting the longfin i land my sparrow down the block from the police station and request my phantom wedge then go and steal the longfin and drive to the sparrow and fly straight up till i lose the cops and boom!!! 8 minutes tops!!!!
Thanks so much for this! I was finally able to complete it on my own. I did miss the elite challenge because when I went back to the longfin by the landing strip, it had floated away and I had to chase after it.
Did this first try, everything went smooth. Then killed the last guy on the bike before you leave the island...with the golden gun....alarms went off and died in the water twice :)
man it's funny when you go out side in 1st person and turn around and just see tow trucks on 2 wheels getting hung up drivers get scared when they get close to the shop and see you. they begin to lose there mind cuz they think you a griefer. so they try to go fast and can't get it in the door. it makes it worst when you Stand there patiently. they try to hurry the hell up and can not make it. 😂😂
The Escape Point at the bottom of the map (as far as I was playing) does not trigger with Duo, it only works as a Solo AND i had to swim way further into the ocean and up towards the surface. And if in Duo, then just steal a boat and sail away from the island (we were on PC)
I stopped doing cayo when they nerfed they pay (I'm sitting at 60 mil anyway). So before the nerf I would run it solo or with up to 3 friends and bottom map worked everytime for us and we didn't have to swim far at all. Another reason to not play cayo if patched
If you get the merryweather HQ one u can also use your missle launcher on the sub, to blow up the helicopter, if u have it! I find that way faster as you do not need to leave the control room!

That’s what I do for that bastard mission. The game likes to give it to me multiple times in a row though. Got it 23 times in a row, yesterday, before it changed to the Penris building.
This guide shows GATHER INTEL by flying to CP... I always get the Jonny English, go to party, sneak around scenario. Is that a console vs PC thing, or just because I've never done it before? I do make it through the checkpoint, but always get caught after that. LOL! You did go through this in a prior guide, but skipped the part of going through the checkpoint. 🤪
15:28 A quick tip for this specific prep set up is do what you just did, yk mark the drop off location. Once you get there instead of waiting or actually trying to lose the cops i always just blow my self up by cooking an grenade make sure you run away from the phantom wedge while cooking or it’ll blow up your long fin making you fail nd restart prep. You will respawn with 0 stars and just hop on in and complete the prep.
Well yesterday i did the same thing on the Gather Intel mission. I blow the hell of the guards on the Paleto beach and without realizing it i damaged the Velum. So, i ended up driving all the way to Cayo on the highest reaching altitudes for an emergency skydive and i was doing it at the lowest rpm and almost without touching the speed button. It was an amazing 25mins fly... xD
The person who thought it was patched likely swam the wrong way. I swam the wrong way and ended up drowning. Also for the Longfin, just drive on the train bridge before the dock and the cops won't find you.
Fun fact: For the Longfin mission, the trucks that they spawn in for you are always in the same spot for each of the police stations, and you can pick them up before you go to the station to trigger the "spawn" conversation.

6:32 coming from beginner tips no one ever told is to press the left control before that ramp and you'll fly. if you dont hit left control (wheelie perform), its just very hard. hope this help.
This helped a lot I always did this heist with a friend and we always alerted the juggernaut which is really annoying it’s way easier doing this solo and I always avoided doing it alone because I assumed I had to kill the guards and I don’t it’s not only easier but faster.
For me I think the same thing happend to that guy that said it was patched I needed to go much further but it may have been because I have been detected by guards after I left the compound unfortunately I didn't get the elite challenge

Im glad you drove to the drop with cops on you i dont prefer killing myself to get the cops off me. Id rather pretend im in an actual chase and in the end if i die to lose the wanted level. Or hide in the back it is what it is.
That happened to me Too I think there is a way to escape the compound because I had to restart 3 times because I ran out of breathers and I died and I was super mad 😂😂😢😢
Does anyone have an idea why I can’t use the drainage tunnel if I go in with the longfin but when I go with the kosatka I can’t cut through the tunnel entrance
All you can do is ask them to follow you and beg them not to shoot anyone. Then you go get the jug and let them follow you around for main and secondaries. Get a jeep for the escape so you all jump off the island in the right place together. Can still get elite, as long as you don't have a total **** on the team.

I get my supplies free of charge from clearing the stash house once per day. I dont sell my MC stock so they stay full and then the stash house has to supply either my acid lab or bunker, increasing my net profits. Sometimes I buy supplies for the one the stash house does not stock but I'm still saving on expenses since I don't pay for both.
A random in a public lobby introduced me to this heist about a year ago. I learned how to run it the same way you do. This is my favorite heist. This heist alone has funded just about everything I have online 😂
As a beginner this threw me all the way off 😂. I didn’t pay $100,000. Didn’t fly (Dr Dre’s people flew me). Didn’t start at the airstrip (was at a party). Didn’t have a motorcycle. Didn’t know you HAVE TO scope out the entry points to use them. If you’re beginner, find a beginner’s guide. But this is great for afterwards
After watching your starting as a level one series. It made me reset my character and start over from scratch following your guide. I just finished the dose missions and have a few more Fooligan missions to upgrade my acid lab. I will agree that the acid lab is the way to go. I made 10 deliveries in an invite-only lobby and still made over $433k!! That is a lot more than I have ever made with any other business in this game. Working on upgrading the acid lab next then getting that Kosatka and doing the Cayo perico heist. I will admit some missions you made it seem easier than they were, but overall it's a great guide, and I'm really enjoying the grind. Cheer🍻
First time I got the wedge I honestly thought it was a waste of money.. But after using it literally EVERYTIME it saves you so much time... Just spawn in.. Get the boat.. and basically make every cop car in your wat fly... Worth every penny for peeps who do cayo perico alot

With the longfan boat setup. I just take myself out instead of losing the cops. Than I just ran back to the truck and drive to the drop off.
I always use the MOC as I dont have the wedge and it works just as good :) I also use the MOC any time I require to pick up a trailer.

For PC players who don't know how to equip the rebreather like me who took 20 mins to figure out, just press *G* while underwater.

The key is to stand still
a faster way to do the longfin is once you collect the longfin you leave the police station then you blow your self up a loose the cops

If you have an Opresor MK2, you don't need/want the Sparrow. You can land the Opresor on the tip of the sub to make things quicker _😄😄_

Buying full ammo in the interaction menu gives you access to weapons you might not have as lower level player

It's VERY sensitive to what position you swim from. There's about infinite directions that don't work

I've skipped Merryweather both ways and find the missiles take longer than starting a new session. It's more fun, though.

You don’t have to jump it fast. You can also just drive up it slowly. Right where you would jump in the crevice kinda but watch out for the guard

Do you use glitches to get into the storage rooms in the compound? I have tried but cant get them to work, starting to wonder if they even work. 🤔😮💨

They should reduce the recharge time because 2h30 is way too much especially when you have 4 times in a row Sinsimito Tequila

Last 6 times I got the stinky drink and cash at airport only think it's because I do it every few days and it not hard mode
I'd rather do other stuff that pays way more money in less time than it takes to setup Cayo and actually do the heist.

Bunker & acid lab is the best way to make money if you are a solo player if you don’t like cayo that much

I just keep getting vip charter jets. When I gather intel.
My sparrow doesn't have bombs. Do I have to upgrade? Also the torch is locked on my planning board? 🤷♀️

I don’t know how you did it, but I went to the office building to steal the weapons and I got caught before I opened the glass doors.
