    You have done a wonderful job yet again with the 2 girls and all credit to you for doing so. I did tear up when you were getting close to home, I could see it in you face Charlie as you were so close to home and I felt the love for home. You are amazing. Love ya. Well done to Tom and the Girls as well. Enjoy being spoilt and very much loved by all the family in England

    Awesome work Charlie, this was so helpful and gives such a great insight to what it's really like travelling with kids. Looking forward to some UK adventures but no pressure as I know it's your precious family time ❤

    I spoke to you guys at Adelaide airport before you went through security for this trip…..was nice to meet you….We have used the blow up extender for our little girl on Singapore Airlines and it works well. If they will tolerate something on their ears we found noise cancelling headphones helped our little get to be able to drift off to sleep….nothing playing on them just blocking aircraft noise and calming things a little.

      aw hey, yes I remember chatting to you, it's so exciting to meet someone who watches the videos! lol
      Anyway, thats good to hear that Singapore lets you use the inflatable footrests - I really need to use one next time! We do have some headphones so will try that next time. Kinda just hoping the girls will be older! lol

    We did not travel abroad with the kids until the youngest was in high school but we did travel around Australia with the kids from when they were newborns. We always packed busybags which had quite activities and snacks. We always had spare batteries and headphones for their Gameboy, and each kiddo had their own Gameboy. Saved on arguments. When our kiddos were school age we would get them to research where we were going and then they would give us a list of what they would like to do. Obviously we did not do everything they wanted but we'd incorporate what we could if it was on our way.

      Yeah I don't recommend doing this size of journey unless you really need too until they are just a little older!! The flight back is gonna be horrendous! It's all about snacks!! lol

      @@CharlieKeep My kids were 16 & 20 for our last family trip and their bags were snack heavy too. Actually, Adult Son was 23 when we did our last trip, to NZ, and we had snacks in our bags also. One of us is notorious for travel sickness, even at my age.

    Did the bassinet cover come with the plane bassinet or did you buy separately?

    • @CharlieKeep
      @CharlieKeep  6 месяцев назад

      sorry for the delayed response, no we brought it separately from a company called Cozigo - not sure I would bother unless the baby was really small as it didn't help much for a 12 month old

    Can you bring a footrest onboard?

    • @CharlieKeep
      @CharlieKeep  2 месяца назад +1

      We took an inflatable footrest on our Qatar flight even though it clearly states on their website that they don't allow things like that, we inflated it and within 10 mins we were told to deflate it! I think I would book a different airline that does allow them from now on coz it makes a MASSIVE difference with small children.
