I agree with you here. The first 2 masteries are very underwhelming.
I was so excited for the Acceleration mastery, as it could maybe redeem Sports Car.
The extra speed isn't that useful, as Sports Car is already fast at maximum.
The fuel upgrade is really useful though. It will mske Thrusters a lot more useful now. Adventure 10kms will be much easier. Obviously the 4th mastery (4th part slot) is incredibly useful.
if these upgrades were 500k/each(exept for the 4th part slot) it would be worth it for some people,for 1 mil i don't think most people will buy them😪😪
You have to test both mastery one and mastery two to get the impact of it, because you can’t just skip the first mastery

Monowheel I don't really care about its masteries as it still sucks.
Moonlander though. I'm hoping for not only a speed upgrade but also a handling upgrade. The vehicle can barely be controlled in water. Fuel is already good enough.

I am just not gonna get the masteries just yet. For now I can upgrade the parts and vehicles and someday if I will have money and nothing to spend it on I will buy masteries.

Also do you know the sports car is rear wheel drive unlike the muscle car which is AWD which is responsible for superior climbing so the sports car is harder to climb especially backing up on steep hills cuz there’s no power to the front wheel
I gave up mastery because it took me long to get to 100k (im barely even a quarter to the first 100k rn) just to have to do it three other times, and then who just has 4 million laying around besides zorro or any coin grinder like vereshchak... but regardless i will still grind stars as ive been doing lately so dont be fully upset
honestly it would be a lot better if the distance needed to get each mastery decreased each time

I grind Spring City cup. It has lots of distance, lots of land, enough fuel cans, and you can get lots of speed. It's easy, and I'm not even a pro
The only vehicles I want to master are sports car, motocross and muscle car

In conclusion : Instead of wasting 4 million coins for just 1 extra parts, better upgrade other vehicle parts.

They should end "nitro".. made a lot of issues for so many older devices... that sadly gets these deadtimes where you system wont take input, you just flapping in the breeze until the buffer ain't choking-.
it wouldve made so much more sense if nitro was an event exclusive part instead of a regular part

How do you get the mastery
My opinion is that masteries destroy records like Nitro did and that makes the game just not enjoyable anymore. Nobody wants to grind so much just to be in the top peak of all players where the competition is not as big as it used to be in the past.

Sports Car is still fine but if Superbike, Super diesel, SuperCar and CC-EV get this feature, this game will be completely destroyed, Sports Car with 4 parts can still be acceptable as it's not as OP as the other three vehicles I mentioned.
I have more than enough "coins"....the problem is they want "GEMS" which cost real $$$ I would gladly give some of my "COINS"

Masteries are probably worth it. I mean, people who are just starting will have trouble upgrading everything than obtaining masteries (masteries cost 1 mil) that's why it's so obvious😶

Im almost to 200k xp. They sure made it a pain to get. Hard to find time to grind xp. They should come up with better more entertaining ways to earn xp and maybe have offers to buy xp with coins or gems.
You can purchase some with gems. How do you have 200k xp? It doesn't let you go past 100k without purchasing Level 1 Mastery.

Masteries gives you the 4th part, what else does it need to justify itself?
Time and effort, aswell as coins are a problem and the first two masteries don't make a huge difference.
