The only answer for sin is the Cross of Christ. Today at Family Worship Center, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart reads Exodus 5:1. For the glad tidings of salvation is one thing, but the struggle against the power that tries to keep the soul in bondage is quite another. Satan does everything he can to keep us from getting saved, and then he does everything he can to hinder us. His goal is to keep us in bondage just as the Israelites were in Egypt under Pharaoh. Brother Swaggart says when we see Satan trying to stop our Christian walk, we can be sure we are on to something right. The answer we seek is found in the Cross, and only in the Cross. Applying and believing in the blood of the Lamb over the doors by the Israelites then, stopped the evil one from bringing death. Beware, for the death angel is still ever presence, but if the blood of Jesus is applied to our hearts and lives we shall be saved. For God said, let my people go. God is getting His church ready for the rapture.
