very nice video! The first one on this chanel for me but definitely not the last one! If I may give a subjection on improving your next videos, I think the second part of the sound test could be improved by placing the microphone elsewhere since it feels like the current position is capturing some of the vibration on the table and thus giving a "weird" sound to the viewer; and it would also help to see/listen to a bit more of the "normal typing" experience, to help create a better impression of the sound. But great video, both on the information given to the audience and also on how it is delivered! Perhaps stitching an sleeve on the case is not the best idea since it could lead to discomfort on using the case as an iPad rest, I think a better option would be to stitch just a velcro strap on both the case and the sleeve, and therefore having the option to keep the accessories both together or separate. (sorry for any mistakes, I am not a native speaker)
I have the halo range in white and black. I kinda got used to them so I bought both the black and white version of the new v2. I do like them, but my only criticism is that I wish the legends on the white v2 weren’t grey, as they look too washed out for me. I know it’s part of the look, but I think I would like darker ones. I have the shine through key caps but I wanted to take full advantage of the double shot caps! Apart from that I think they are great. What fender do you play? I’m a jazzmaster guy myself. 😊
Have you tried remapping the £/3 key? Nuphy sales seemed to say it could be done using VIA but of course you’d need new keycaps to match. I’ve not heard good things about the nuphy software but if it was easy to remap, I’d honestly buy the air96 today.
@@clinthawkeye1937 I haven’t tried using their VIA software but what you can do is set character strings in Mac OS for specific text. So I have one that’s ‘gbp$’ and that turns into a £
Nuphy pronunciation - /nju:fi/ 'nju' is pronounced NYOO as in 'union' which is written /ˈjuːniən/ 'fi' is pronounced FEE as in 'tea' which is written /tiː/ The correct pinyin would actually be 'NIU' which would have made it easier for us to pronounce it the way they like it.
I believe you but what confuses me further is that they wrote it as nju:fI on the box (as in with a capital I). If you’re using a phonemic chart that would be the same I as in ship, which is pretty much the only possibility I’m certain to rule out 😅
It's not really "very" slim. I'm from the Apple keyboard, and unless a keyboard does not require an elevated wrist rest, like Apple keyboards, it's not "very" slim. It's only relatively slim compared to other mechanical keyboards.
It does NOT require a wrist rest. You only would need it if you use the adjustable feet to prop it up. Otherwise it's less than 2 cm (0.8 inch) in height
For the folio case, the trick is to button back the slip thingy, in this way, the stand is more sturdy and stays at a fixed angle!
Cheers for the tip! Pinning this so others can see.
Awesome video, thank you for the review!
Cheers. Thanks for watching!
It seems like they listened to your feedback, as I saw pouches on their website yesterday 👍
Haha I am tempted to try them out. Maybe next time I put in an order for something.

Thanks, Arnau. Appreciate it! Good feedback on the sound test and no need to apologise - your English is great!

Awesome. Would like to see one of the darker models up close too. Also a Jazzmaster guy :D
How long did it take for the keyboard to get to you after the preorder deadline?
I think it was about 10 months as part of the kickstarter but I doubt it’s that long these days.
How do you find not having a UK layout (assuming you’re in the Uk)?
The only thing that bugs me is the £ symbol really
