A vagabond in front of the Shyamoli Popular Hospital
Recently I met a vagabond in front of the Shyamoli Popular Hospital in Dhaka. First I tried to find out his address. He said once that his home was in Narsingdi, and then said it was in Jessore. There were many inconsistencies in his speech.
I first wanted to cut his hair and clean him up. But he refused. Later, when the owner of the tea shop next door told him, he agreed. I thought that the tea shop owner had a previous acquaintance with him.
Anyway, after that we cleaned him up and took him to a food hotel and tried to feed him পেট ভরে.
While talking to this man, I learned several unbelievable things. The most surprising thing was that he sometimes sees jinn fairies. He also said many other strange things.
This incident gave rise to many questions in my mind. I wanted to know, what is his mental state? Why was he talking so inconsistently? What is the explanation for seeing the jinn fairies?
To find the answer to this question, I tried to talk to him a few more times. But he always gave the same inconsistent answers.
Finally, I came to the conclusion that this man's mental condition is not good. He needs treatment.

শ্যামলী পপুলার হাসপাতালের সামনে এক ভবঘুরে
সম্প্রতি আমি ঢাকা শ্যামলী পপুলার হাসপাতালের সামনে একজন ভবঘুরে লোকের সাথে দেখা করি। প্রথমে আমি তার ঠিকানা জানার চেষ্টা করি। তিনি একবার বলেন তার বাড়ি নরসিংদী, আবার বলেন যশোর। তার কথা বলার মধ্যে ছিল অনেক অসংলগ্নতা।
আমি প্রথমে তার চুল কেটে তাকে পরিষ্কার পরিচ্ছন্ন করতে চেয়েছিলাম। কিন্তু তিনি রাজি হননি। পরে পাশের চায়ের দোকানের মালিক তাকে বললে তিনি রাজি হন। আমার মনে হয়েছিলো চায়ের দোকানের লোকটির সাথে তার পূর্ব পরিচিতি ছিলো।
যাইহোক, এরপর আমরা তাকে পরিষ্কার করে একটি খাবারের হোটেলে নিয়ে যাই এবং তাকে পেট ভরে খাওয়ানোর চেষ্টা করি।
এই লোকটির সাথে কথা বলার সময় আমি বেশ কয়েকটি অবিশ্বাস্য বিষয় জানতে পারি। তার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে আশ্চর্যজনক বিষয় ছিলো, তিনি নাকি মাঝেমধ্যে জিন পরি দেখেন। এছাড়াও তিনি আরও অনেক অদ্ভুত কথাবার্তা বলেছেন।
এই ঘটনাটি আমার মনে অনেক প্রশ্নের জন্ম দিয়েছে। আমি জানতে চেয়েছিলাম, তার মানসিক অবস্থা কেমন? কেন তিনি এমন অসংলগ্ন কথা বলছিলেন? জিন পরি দেখার বিষয়টিরই বা কি ব্যাখ্যা?
এই প্রশ্নের উত্তর খোঁজার জন্য আমি তার সাথে আরও কয়েকবার কথা বলার চেষ্টা করেছি। কিন্তু তিনি সবসময় একই রকম অসংলগ্ন উত্তর দিয়েছেন।
শেষ পর্যন্ত আমি এই সিদ্ধান্তে উপনীত হয়েছি যে, এই লোকটির মানসিক অবস্থা ভালো নয়। তার চিকিৎসার প্রয়োজন।
