- In this video we discussed velocity and its different types like average velocity, instantaneous velocity also discussed differences between uniform and variable velocity. This video covers 11th class physics for fsc medical and engineering.
Have you ever wondered how fast an object is moving? Velocity is a fundamental concept in physics that helps us understand the motion of objects. In this video, we will be discussing velocity and its different types.
Velocity is defined as the rate of change of an object's displacement with respect to time. There are two types of velocity: average velocity and instantaneous velocity. Average velocity is calculated as the total displacement divided by the total time taken. Instantaneous velocity, on the other hand, is the velocity of an object at a particular instant in time. It is calculated as the limit of the average velocity as the time interval approaches zero.
Velocity can also be classified into two categories: uniform and variable velocity. Uniform velocity is when an object moves with constant speed in a straight line. Variable velocity is when an object moves with changing speed or direction.
Velocity is a vector quantity that has both magnitude and direction. It is represented by the symbol "v" and is measured in meters per second (m/s). The magnitude of velocity is the speed of the object, which is the distance traveled per unit time.
Average velocity is calculated as the displacement of an object over a certain time period. Suppose an object starts at point A and moves to point B in 5 seconds. The distance between points A and B is 50 meters. Then, the average velocity of the object is 10 meters per second (50 meters/5 seconds).
Instantaneous velocity, on the other hand, is the velocity of an object at a specific point in time. It is the limit of the average velocity as the time interval approaches zero. For example, if an object is moving along a straight line, its instantaneous velocity at a particular point can be calculated by finding the slope of the tangent line to the position-time graph at that point.
Uniform velocity is when an object moves with constant speed in a straight line. For example, a car moving at a constant speed of 50 km/hr on a straight road is said to have uniform velocity. On the other hand, variable velocity is when an object moves with changing speed or direction. An object moving in a circular path at a constant speed is said to have variable velocity because its direction is constantly changing.
In conclusion, velocity is a fundamental concept in physics that helps us understand the motion of objects. It has different types such as average velocity and instantaneous velocity, and can be classified as uniform and variable velocity. Understanding these concepts is crucial for anyone studying physics at the Class 11 level.

Great Sir!! Your teaching method is very Good, On Monday there is my University Physic Paper but after watching your lecture I am sure i will pass it easly
Very helpful video sir for clearing confusion related to velocity . Thankyou sir , you are great .
Ma Shaa Allah ex excellent lecture on basics physics.
sir plzzzz physic k lecture ap diya kre u are best teacher in the world pata ni clgs ma esay q ni parhate

Sir what is the difference between simple velocity and average velocity ? Are it is same or not ?
Respected sir.kisi ne b instantaneous velocity ko itna achi tarha se explain nahe kia jitna ap ne.JAZAKALLAH
Okay
Sir g your teaching method is very good.i found a lot of information in this lecture about topics that I didn't know before. Thanksgiving 😍
teaching method is really good
Zero velocity . Thanks sir your lecture cleared my concepts
Thanks sir. Your teaching method is very simple and related.
Welcome always 🤗
All concepts about velocity are clearly and precisely described👌 Efforts are really appreciated🙂 thanks for sharing this video..
Thank you

whenever an object in drop case itn initiall velocity will be zero similarly when an object is thrown up its final velocity will be zero.
thanku so mch sir...You are doing amazing.May Allah bless u more nd more.
and one more thing, kindly sir share your contact number with us.
Simple it is that the initial velocity is always zero 😊😊
sir instantanious velocity ko measure krnay ki zaroorat ku paishe aa ty hai
Radhe Radhe sir from 🇮🇳 India
Instantaneous velocity ko hmm agr measured kre to rate of change mn karen Gai ?
Sir! Velocity ma bi total time lety hn kia.. Ya srf average velocity ma hi...?
Superb explanation , really so helpful , thanks a lot sir💜
Sir yah mcqs apna intanenous velocity sy palhy discuss kiya iam right or not.

Sir Why n how d average velocity in one dimension either be positive or negative???????????
Yes depend on direction❤
good explannation about instant of time
Sir please explain why Average speed is always positive
Good one sir thanks alot☺️
well done 😮😊
Loved your video
Amazing 🤩 lecture thank you so much sir
Sir agar uniform velocity ma speed same rah to deffinition ka mo tabak ya halat hota ha ------ (change in displacement is called velocity)
Speed 🚄 is same but direction is specific, and velocity can b produced in body due to two reasons, whenever change its magnitude means speed or its direction ⬇️.
What is change in displacement???
In case of uniform speed why average and instantaneous velocity have same value ?
Sir Your explanation is good plzz Sir follow the book of all boards
Sir aap ik video practical units for measuring time

Sir impressive lecture
Very well explain sir
Sir instantaneous velocity ke definition mein "at specific point" ka matlab samaj nahey aya
sir what do you mean by change in displacement displacement mai change kaise ata hai
When something moves in a straight line

what is answer of this mcqs
B option is correct sir if i am please tell me
Best explained
Sir can the Magnitude of average velocity can be greater or less than the magnitude of instateneous velocity
The magnitude of average velocity would be greater
What is different between uniform velocity and constan velocity

Uniform velocity aur uniform acceleration me kya farak Hai?
Uniform velocity is change in displacement is equal in equal intervals of time, while uniform acceleration is if change in velocity is equal in equal intervals of time

As a rocket moves up while doing its job ,its acceleration goes o
(a) Increasing
(b) Decreasing
(c) Remain same
(d) It moves with uniform velocity
acceleration increases ,because as the rocket moves up ,it's distance from earth radius increases, so force of gravity decreases ,now the rocket moves up with the acceleration in a less resistant force,so apparently its acceleration increases.
Coorect 👏
Nice explanation
Increases bcz aas rocket moves upward it loses its fuel hence decreases its mass as mass is inversely proportional to the a so as mass decrease acceleration enhances
d,uniform velocity
d,uniform velocity
👏👏👏

Thank you
Sir, but why in instantaneous velocity, time interval ∆t approaches to zero and not the displacement? Please reply!
Actually it is the ratio of displacement over time that approaches to zero, and why the limit is only on time, because we are measuring change in displacement with respect to time, ao limit will put upon time
Sir p/z deeply batia kara
0 is correct answer sir I am right
0 is the correct answer 😊
when average velocity and instantaneous velocity are equal. so then is called uniform velocity but why
When velocity is uniform average and instantaneous velocities are equal
A body is moving with uniform velocity. So if velocity of a body is increasing
vf > vi
then. vf + vi / 2. this is called a uniform average velocity.
Am i right
Yes you are right
@@TheBaseAcademy999 thank you very much. I have a request. you can make a deeply video on instantaneous velocity and instantaneous acceleration.
