You play this so beautifully, I think that you capture the mood of this song so perfectly. I had to look up this song after watching Better Call Saul season 4 ep 1, it destroyed me. I didn’t realize until now that Chuck played this song himself on his piano in season 2, it adds so much weight to this song. You’re so talented :)
Chuck plays a cello and piano version. The cello part is meant to be played by Rebecca, who left him. This incomplete performance reminds him how incomplete his life is, hence the desperate rage that makes him stop playing.
@@PierreRipplinger That's a really good point! I honestly forgot that his wife would play the other half of their duet...knowing this makes the scene even more heartbreaking.
@@JessicaLWhite We don't see them playing together in the serie, but since he played the piano score from the duet, not the piano solo version, the other player would surely be his wife. Also, the version heard at the funeral could be recorded by her, and the track chosen by her in memory of them playing it together.
Magnifiquement joué. M'a fait vibrer. Exactement ce qu'il me fallait après une caotique journée de travail. Je vous remercie de partager votre talent. Vous êtes une de ces personnes qui rendent le monde plus beau. 🙏
The original song is a duet between a piano and cello. So Chuck played the piano part of the duet, whilst this is an interpretation of the complete song on the piano.
@@sverkerdiltsaoskldf7698 thank you very much. So maybe Chuck was playing the part which they used to play together with his exwife back then. The scene is more meaningful to me now. And sad. Thank you.
@@debrisonne This reply is super late but I'm so sorry I spoiled this for you guys. I absolutely love BCS and would never want to ruin it for someone else. I commented this just after the episode aired and was excited I noticed this detail, but I never once thought about those that didn't watch it yet..
if this is in 3, i love how you play msr.7 and 8. its like chuck plays it. i cant fins another recording like it
Wonderful piece . Wonderful playing .
Beuatifully played. It's a lovely tune. The left hand 1:05 chord is a real stretch. My fingers barely touch the ivory.

How many hours did you spend to learn it?
Hard to tell... I spent a month playing almost every day, between 10 and 30 minutes per day...
Bonjour, y a t'il un pdf de la partition ? merci. Bonne année
RIP Charles McGill
Chuck plays this a bit different. İs there any music person who can point out where and why
