It's not like that. There are not two or three or four Gods. God is one. But he has different names and forms. Each representing a special attribute of the Supreme Godhead. For eg, some worship Lakshmi Maa for wealth because she represents wealth or fortune. But she is also a form the Supreme God Krishna. Similarly, Krishna has infinite names and potencies. Allah is also another name of God. So it depends on the seer not the seen. If you want to see or assume God as formless, still the prayers are going to him. If you want to see God as Lord Shiva, still the prayers are going to Krishna because everything comes from him and at the end everything gets dissolved in him. Clearly, difference is in the Philosophy. Not in God. Muhammad depicted God in a negative role, that's not a fault of God. There are many monotheistic traditions in Sanatan Dharma such as Vaishnavism, Shaivism. All consider God as one but still worship many Demi - Gods or Devatas. But in Islam if you worship someone else accept Allah, Allah gets offended. This is the difference between Philosophy of Sanatan Dharma and Islam.

Sati who was deeply hurt by her father's snub and insult to Lord Shiva decided to attend the yagna without an invitation. When she arrived Daksha failed to acknowledge her presence and insulted her and Lord Shiva in front of the guests. Feeling insulted and humiliated Sati decided to end her life by jumping into the yagna fire. When Lord Shiva learned about Sati's sacrifice he was filled with grief and sorrow. He cried uncontrollably and roamed the world with Sati's lifeless body on his shoulder. It was only when Lord Vishnu intervened and calmed him down that he was able to let go of Sati's body and return to his divine duties. This story shows how deeply Lord Shiva loved his wife Sati and how her death affected him like a common man. It also highlights the powerful bond of love between a husband and wife which even a divine being like Lord Shiva could not escape.

There are several stories that explain why Lord Shiva cried for his wife like a common man. One of the most popular stories is the story of Sati. According to this story Lord Shiva's wife Sati was the daughter of Daksha a powerful king and a proud father. Daksha was not a devotee of Lord Shiva and he did not approve of his daughter's marriage with him. However Sati was deeply in love with Lord Shiva and could not imagine life without him.
One day Daksha organized a yagna (sacred fire ritual) and invited all the gods and goddesses except Lord Shiva and Sati. Sati who was deeply hurt by her father's snub and insult to Lord Shiva decided to attend the yagna without an invitation. When she arrived Daksha failed to acknowledge her presence and insulted her and Lord Shiva in front of the guests.
Feeling insulted and humiliated Sati decided to end her life by jumping into the yagna fire. When Lord Shiva learned about Sati's sacrifice he was filled with grief and sorrow. He cried uncontrollably and roamed the world with Sati's lifeless body on his shoulder. It was only when Lord Vishnu intervened and calmed him down that he was able to let go of Sati's body and return to his divine duties.
This story shows how deeply Lord Shiva loved his wife Sati and how her death affected him like a common man. It also highlights the powerful bond of love between a husband and wife which even a divine being like Lord Shiva could not escape.
