- Jurassic World VelociCoaster is the latest roller coaster opening at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando Florida. This new for 2021 Intamin LSM multi-launch coaster will be one of the best in the world not only because of its stats but because of its insane moments of airtime and intensity. So in the final part of my five part series on the New for 2021 roller coasters coming to Florida. We take a look into Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Universal.

i've always told everyone that I know whos passionate about roller coasters or any attraction in general, theming is so important. That's why universal and disney cant be compared to other theme parks.
@Nemesis 86 I was just going to say the same thing! Lol 😂
@Nemesis 86 Phantasialand joined the chat xD
Knott's berry farm is kinda ok
@Nemesis 86 Literally, Alton Towers would like to have a word with them as well 😂
Cedar Point is way better. Good rides are way more important than theming and gimmicks...
The mummy is still the best in terms of overall experience. Nothing beats getting stuck in a room on fire
the mummy is my favorite because of that one part where it goes “not even the medjai can save you now” and then you’re in the darkness riding the coaster
I rode the mummy for the first time it’s the best ever the theme is amazing
My favorite part in the orlando one is the room before they take your photo(because no spoilers)
I wish more indoor coasters had fire effects for this reason!
Yeah I really like the mummy but it doesn't go too fast and it's a little bit bumpy
Hagrids motorbike adventure is the most fun ive ever had on anything in my life
That coaster was so awesome! I rode it last year around Christmas and it was raining so it added to the experience. I came out so wet LMAO
I hate roller coasters but that was so much fun
Rode it at night, completely amazing. Felt like i was in the movie🤘
@@Wangan280z yeah I rode it at night and it was raining so imagine that haha
Is the end where you drop through , is it like a steep hill your speeding down or no
Hear me out Disney, a super crazy thrill high ride coaster based of Iron Man in the POV of you fighting against malfunctioning suits and flying up and down blasting them.
Disney can't use any marvel properties in their parks. It would have to be at a universal theme park
@@leegaines3997 no disney now owns rights to marvel. Universal just has a special deal to used comic based marvel
@@leegaines3997 that used to be the case, but only for their florida parks
@@leegaines3997 Specifically, they can't use any of the major players from the 90s at any parks "east of the Mississippi River". Florida can have Guardians of the Galaxy because it wasn't popular when the deal was struck.
This is happening in Disneyland Paris! Rock n Roller Coaster is becoming Iron Man themed!
I just got to ride this during its soft opening, and I came off it actually speechless. You do some sort of barrel roll with your head just feet from the water, and my legs actually felt like jello from being lifted out of my seat so much. It’s easily my favorite ride just because of the thrill, and the theming helped
Theming and immersion is essential to ride experience. That is why Disney and Universal always makes top tier rides, not every time but most of the time. The ride might not be the most thrilling but the theme makes up for it.
What are you on
And dont forget Phantasialand, with Taron, F.L.Y, Black Mamba and Colorado Adventure.
I love themed coasters :D
I take it you've never been to places like Cedar Point...
@@Dielawn69 Cedar Point is my home park. Great park and great selection of rollercoasters but when you compare it to Disney and Universal in terms of immersive it doesn't compare at all. The theming is minimal on rides with Steel Vengeance having good theming.
There is bad theming and good theming.
Disney typically does good theming with a story as to why you are in a vehicle on a track. A train or a mine car. Or it’s in the dark and you can’t see the track. Universal, not so much.
Dueling Dragons will always be my favorite
I prefer Force Razor personally
Back in the good ol’ days, when they actually dueled.
@@mikeyvangelism its unfortunate that they had to stop but it was the right call considering someone lost an eye because of it.
I miss it :(
Hey @karin wade, Universal's Epic Universe WILL have a dueling coaster once again. Something to look forward to in a future visit!
Finally other parks should invest more into scenery because freeways and parking lots are getting a little old!😂😄💯
I know it’s technically not Disney’s market. But they really do need at least 1 new high trill ride. I don’t class Tron as that. They only have 1 ride that goes upside down, which when you think about it is insane. This is where Universal beats Disney.
disney is also big for the kids and the visual activity’s... as I do agree that they should have better and more thrill rides.. I can see why they don’t.. this is most known for a place for kids. but i am 17 years old and love disney with a passion. I would much enjoy high thrill rides as well.
I could not agree more and I always say this! I would choose a Universal park over Disney simply because of this reason. Plus, all of disneys "higher thrill" rides are at different parks and very scattered. I love disney so much but its a lot of money id rather spend on thrill rides. I live in ohio, an hour away from Cedar Point. Always a season passholder.. Once you go to a place like that, all you want is more thrill.
@@RyanandPaige Disney parks would definitely benefit from having a higher variety of thrill rides although i also do see why they dont.
When my kids were young, I was a Disney AP. Now I'm a UOAP. That pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?
@@breezyxo98 Yeah I also wish Disney had thrill coasters, but their target group is kids so it makes sense that they would make their thrill rides as accessible to kids as possible. At the same time, I think there are enough adults and older kids who would want to have some thrill coasters, which would make the parks even more popular and make Disney even more money. People who are into thrills would be more drawn to visiting Disney parks. It’s a win-win.
This is so cool ugh i cant wait
Thanks for the ‘sound effect’
DUNCAN DIDNT EXPECT TO SEE U HERE
HEY DUNCAN
i went on it a little bit ago IT IS SOOOOOO FUN!! THIS MAKES ME WANT TO DIE FOR GOING ON IT AGAIN
“And I have a churro!” HE IS SPEAKING WORDS OF THE LORDS!
I was waiting for this comment and I am satisfied 😂
I think with the addition of velocicoaster, Disney might start to get some new age Vekomas like an STC or something like F.L.Y. The future of Florida theme parks looks bright.
This is a safe bet because Disney World is already getting 2 new Vekomas that are being built right now, both of which are pretty new coaster models. Not to mention Disney World also got Seven Dwarves Mine Train built by Vekoma. However, I don’t think Disney would do any super high-thrill Vekoma’s because Disney parks are more family-oriented than thrill-oriented.
Fly doesn’t have close to Disney capacity these will need 2 stations if not more
Disney needs to develop friendships outside of Vekoma.
Wait until guardians of the galaxy is done. That one looks like a groundbreaker
@@aninterestingpenguin9374 Seven Dwarves Mine Train is the smoothest roller coaster I have ridden...like sliding on butter. hahaha
Aww man the memories I had on duelling dragons when they actually ran them at the same time was amazing. I also believe that the new velocicoaster will be really good.
Dueling dragons was the best. RIP
When there were no lines, I'd cut through the family room and go straight back on. Absolutely loved Duelling Dragons! Way better than Hulk. It still gives me headaches, as my head rattles off the restraint.
Yeah, I loved Dealing Dragons, but learned it's not the best idea to ride them in the front row in the rain. 😂
Hagrids is Soo good lol that drop really surprised me! The kind of ride you get off talking about. I saw the testing veloci in March it looked sooooo good !!!
You want a coaster with a drop? I think Verbolten might have your number there... 👀
You are so right about Hagrid’s. I had so much fun on it. The theming and experience of universal and Disney outweigh the thrill from non themed parks. So many rides this trip I was amazed at. I’m SOOO excited for the future of theme park rides!
I got to ride this coaster on mother day’s for technical rehearsal and I love it. Hands down my favorite coaster that I’ve been on.
its open already!??!?
@@vaz2967 no it’s not it opens June 10th they were just doing technical rehearsals for the ride and people got to ride it.
This is how I felt about star wars rise of the resistance. Amazing experience.
That one wasnt there yet when i went, but looking at videos it upsets me its just another “chair moves through scenes” ride they have wayyy too many of those all with essentially the same cart type. Theyre very immersive yes, but when i was at the park i got so tired of nearly every ride being the same thing with a different theme. To each their own though. To me its basically a more immersive movie, but its really short, and the plot is always “oh youre not supposed to be here lets get you to safety, HANG ON!”
@@fergin4979 Oh shut up. You're complaining about a ride you've never experienced. This is the second time I've seen you talking trash on Disney just to make them look bad
@@fergin4979 Disney does not have a lot of chair moves through rides, that’s universal, Spiderman,Simpsons, transformers, ET they all feel same. Star Tours may be the only one you’re talking about and Dinosaur that’s it, lol because you said the plot is always you’re not supposed to be here but space Mountain, big thunder mountain, splash Mountain, seven dwarves mine train, jungle cruise, pirates, Pandora flight of passage, rock ‘n’ roller coaster, Kali River Rapids, Tower of Terror, aren’t the same plot
It just occured to me that I haven't ridden a rollercoaster in years and now I'm upset.
I haven’t rode one in almost 3 years. My gosh
I remember when Dragon's Challenge was still Dueling Dragons, back when they still ran both trains at the same time instead of staggering them. Man, I miss that ride. The queue area was the best.
It was super fun! I’m sure Hagrid’s is great (will ride it one day!) but I really enjoyed the Dueling Dragons.
"Maverick barely holds a spot in my top ten". WHAT?! That's madness! Anyways, really great video and I anticipate that Velocicoaster may (somehow) be even better than Maverick. Really enjoyed watching!
Taron changed the industry. Hagrid followed and showed how far themed coasters can become. Fly in Phantasialand is probably more themed than Velocicoaster. So yeah, but it will change the US market as not many usa citizens do not get to experience European theme parks.
I was fortunate to get in on the Team Member preview today - this easily lands in my top 5 favorite coasters. The top hat *almost stalls* giving that feeling of suspense, into the pseudo-heartline that hangs for a second while inverted over the main entrance pathway, and the heartline over the water. Even the pre-show has Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard reprising their roles from Jurassic World with witty banter from both parties. If anything, this makes me excited to see what they do with Epic Universe, if Hagrids, Kong and Velocicoaster are any measure (Let's forget all about Jimmy Fallon's and Fast & the Furious).
I cannot wait!!! I was just in Universal last November, saw the frame, and am a HUGE fan of Jurassic Park!! I can’t wait!!!!
I watched the test tonight at the park, it looks amazing at night, nice and up close. The fence looking down at the track before the second drop.
Heard them testing the launch preshow too. It’s sounds amazing!
Dude, excellent soft review with your video. Class A editing, engagement, and delivery. I knew I would be a new subscriber 4 minutes into the video. Great job!
Totally agree with your argument here! I think VelociCoaster has an extremely strong layout on its own, and its theming is just going to put it over the top. Super excited to ride it in 2021.
Florida's coasters are so unique because they don't have a Six Flags
Rode this coaster the last week and it is the best coaster I’ve ridden. Seriously so well designed and it never gets boring!
Theming theming and more theming!! And animatronics. Lol Thanks for the video and be careful. ✌🏾👍🏾💯
That's awesome how excited you are for it. This is your ride! Don't let anyone change that.
Love this comment! lol
I love that even the lines are enjoyable they put so much detail into them. i never mind waiting in those lines
By the way in Europe we’ve had theming on large outdoor coasters for years
Taron
@@MigraineManX Indeed. Taron & F.L.Y. are full themed coasters, track included. This one is not.
In Orlando too: Big Thunder Mountain, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures, Slinky Dog Dash, Seven Dwarves...
So true you only have to look at europapark
I came to the comments to say the same thing. I get where he is coming from, but there have been very immersive fully themed roller coasters for a long time. The second half of this coaster isn’t even themed at all. It’s a jaunt over the water in front of Hogsmeade. Comparing it to maverick seems like a major setup for disappointment too. It will not have transitions or forces anywhere near that level. Most of the test footage makes the ride seem a bit sluggish in my opinion. I think people expected little from Hagrid and it exceeded expectations by a mile. I think people are blowing this one way out of proportion and the cry baby game will commence when it opens.
I'm going to Universal in middle of May I pray they open it up before I go!!
I'm with you. Good themes change the ride. I love it when a ride shoots real fire and you can feel the heat, or plays loud sound effects!
so funny that you talk about american coaster and have a video of Taron in it ;)
Thiss is going to be so dope. I changed my vacation plan for next year just so this would be open. I want to go on Horror nights mid October.
Horror Nights is an amazing event!
Hey! Loved the video and just wanted to say I was at Jurassic Park yesterday and got to see them testing the velocicoaster!!!! The vehicle looked REALLY cool!!!
Cedar Point is my favorite amusement park, but I’ve always thought that it’s biggest blunder was lack of theming. When I was a kid I lived in Florida. Never been to Universal parks, but my Dad was a graveyard shift cleaning supervisor at Bush Gardens. He was also born in Ohio so rollercoasters have been a major part of my life from the beginning.
Bush Gardens and especially Disney parks have the best theming from parks I’ve been to personally. Great video. Don’t know if I’ll ever get to ride but glad this foster is getting made.
Went to universal august 2019 and wasn’t able to ride hagrids motorcycle, I went last week and rode it twice in one hour. Loved it. I left thinking the exact same thing, the theme completed that ride. Sometimes places like six flags get a little lost in scaring the rider than making it enjoyable and fun.
I was just there last week. We passed by the velocicoaster (sorry if I spelt that wrong) a few times when we were there. That ride is the most smoothest sounding, high speed coaster I've ever heard. Universal surprised me with their 90 degree climbing roller coaster, so I'm sure I'll be impressed with this one when my family and I return.
Was there last week while they were testing it. Got to talk to some employees that were able to ride it and they said it’s the best coaster they’ve ever ridden. Can’t wait to check it out.
I rode this today and it’s hands down the best ride at universal
We have season passes and will get to ride it before it officially opens. I can’t wait!
Nothing competes with dueling dragons. Was ahead of it’s time. Was the only coaster that was perfectly timed to come right at each other.
Universal's Epic Universe WILL have a dueling coaster once again. Something to look forward to in a future visit!
Velocicoaster is so much better wtf
Now if you look at the latest testing footage you can see that it runs hella fast. It’s so damn cool.
9:18 Europe be like: yh we did that a decade ago
America be like: we did that decades ago
@@LOLWAAHH sadly Only Disney have done it
Furthermore Disney wasnt the First Park that begin with theming and they Got their ideas from european Parks
(I mean the Theming ideas Not the actual Theme of the coaster)
Btw the Company that Made all of the Theming for the Disney Parks is placed in Switzerland
I've ridden just about everything you can in florida and I got to ride it 3 times on a testing day. Honestly might be the best coaster I've ever ridden
If theaming is what sells a coaster for you I can see why you'd think Velosicoaster could be best in the world. However, for me no matter how detailed a theme is I tend to see through it and it only ever tends to be a tiebreaker for me (ie Laff Trak vs Steel Dragon at Waldameer, Vortex (Wonder Mountain) vs The Bat (no such interaction), rides that have a very similar experience outside of theaming).
thoughts on it now that its out?
@@no-no7md Haven't ridden it yet and it's unlikely I'll be riding it soon due to events outside of the coaster world (me being trans and JK Rowling getting a cut of all Universal ticket sales...we all know what she thinks about people like me and it should be understandable why that would make me uncomfortable). That being said, from what I've heard it's probably somewhere in between Maverick and Steel Vengence in terms of ride quality (note; I also consider Steel Vengence overrated although it's definately the best coaster at CP, definately in my top 5 overall. If it's not clear though, I basically consider any bandwagon coaster overrated no matter how good it is). Given the layout I think that's probably anaccurate comparison. World class but no where near best in the world if you put the mechanical ride above any kind of theaming.
@@urbex_coasters fair enough
Universal is really making a come back! For the longest time it was stagnate. Glad to see the familiar scenes with such incredible rides and theming!
I think that once mario world is built around the world, universal is going to absolutely dominate everything else.
I rode this last week.....100% the best most intense ride at Universal
Another amazing video man! You are underrated for sure 🔥
Thank you!
I love Hagrids and can't wait for Velocicoaster. However Maverick at Cedar Point is still my favorite ride!
Not only does Velocicoaster have a great experience ridewise, meaning it has spins and drops all over, it also is personally the best in theme as well. I think that this is the best roller coaster yet in pretty much the entire world.
When he talks about the most intense transition on Maverick, good Theming and the world's best roller coaster at Universal, I have the feeling that he never had the chance to ride Kärnan. :D
But at the end of the day this is all a matter of taste ;)
That track looks crazy strong so im hoping it means this thing will be fast
Not having maverick in your top ten is sacrilegious 😅
Lol "best rollercoaster in the world you say? "
Six Flags Magic Mountain CA - "hold my beer"
x2 hands down no competition
Having ridden on the Velocicoaster, it is THAT AMAZING!!!!!!
This is the 1st video of yours I've seen & I enjoyed it. Cool channel ides, well thought out & put together video & entertaining. All good things & you've got a new viewer & sub from me. Keep coasting! 💯

That's exactly what I thought. I don't want to blame him but it was pretty funny.
Great video - can't wait to ride it - hoping for a soft opening in the next month!!!😜
I can probably say that I have been on this and its the most terrifyingly amazing ride I've ever been on! Glad I did it!
Going with my family in July, definitely looking forward to it! Thanks man
Maybe one day they'll have projections or augmented reality so it looks like the coaster is chasing or being chased by raptors.
The way this guy is talking, I thought that was going to happen.
I just rode this coaster this week during "early access" and it was genuinely one of the best rollercoasters I've experienced. It's up there with "X2" from Six Flags Magic Mountain. It's not the biggest or fastest one I've been on so I don't really have an explanation on how or why it was so exhilarating but it is definitely a must.
A month ago I saw this test run like 20 times and it looked so cool I’m so excited to go this summer
I don't think that rides need theming to be good or enjoyable - but theming can take an already great coaster and make it excellent! So excited to ride this someday, it looks beautiful and my dinosaur-loving heart is screaming.
Im no roller coaster expert like you but as a HUGE JP/JW fan I'm glad to hear its going to be a good ride!
I am terrified of roller coasters but my desire to get on this ride is so crazy because it looks SO COOL
great video man i plan on being there 2am as well with my daughter cant wait for this ride you think 2am is early enough lol
Europe’s silently been doing this for decades. Look at Taron, Wickerman and plenty of other rides.
The first and only time America does it everyone’s like WOOOOAAAAHHHH
I already know an argument will spawn here so imma stay out of it.
🦗🦗🦗
I think its funny how you call Dragon Challenge, Dragons Challenge hehe
Did you see Great American Coasters new video, he totally called you out on velocicoaster!
I was there in December watching them construct the thing
I think the continued success of Frontier's Planet Coaster shows how enthusiasts are enamored with really good theming. Some of those ideas are so satisfying viewers want to see them built in real life.
Theming for large coasters seems to be a trend that comes and goes, and is also highly dependent on the brand. Look at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, near where I grew up. There isn't a coaster there without some level of theming and a storyline. Verbolten is completely themed down to the car-like vehicles, and Alpengeist is one of the most beautifully-designed coasters I've seen. It flies by the pathways and into ravines so organically, and also features one of, if not the only ski-lift-style lift hill that B&M used, because it fit the theme of a ski-lift possessed by an Alpine monster.
While this coaster looks like it will be a fun ride, calling it “immersive” is a joke. In fact it looks like the opposite. You’ll be constantly reminded that’s it’s a big outdoor coaster. Compare that to Space Mt. or the new Guardians coaster coming to EPCOT. It won’t hold a candle to those coaster’s immersive qualities.
I mean yes, but your forgetting the entire area around the ride is themed. its in the Jurassic park section of the park. You wont be on a Jurassic coaster in a generic land you will be on a Jurassic coaster in jurassic park!
@@OrlandoMoments still not as immersive as the rides the guy listed
@@gooovy1452 like space mountain ? the ride that basically is in complete darkness for the entire ride with no theming at all? that ride? really?
@@OrlandoMoments Rise of resistance, smugglers run ride, Star tours, Pandora ride, sourin around the world at Epcot, tower of terror, incredicoaster, pirates of the carrribian ride at magic kingdom, splash mountain, and the less goes on and on, Disney outranks universal in immersion any day, not in thrill but even then Disney still has a lot a thrill rides like rock n roller coaster, test track, and a bunch more, when it comes to immersion Disney will always be at the top and the rise of the resistance is a example of this that rides is prolly the most ground breaking state of the art tech that combines a bunch of different forms of rides into one, sorry dude but Disney outranks universal when it comes to that stuff
@@OrlandoMoments Space mountain is not the best example but a good example none the less
I didn't realize how important theming was until I went to Cedar point. Most rides are just coaster or very little theme. Most rides were great but it always felt like it was missing something.
Rode it last weekend. It was phenomenal!!! Loved every second of it
Never heard about the blue Fire Megacoaster? This thing is phenomenal!!!
bassicly, it all comes down to eye candy. nice visuals to watch while zooming by is vastly preferable to just structural elements and and overview of the park. not only are they getting a thrilling ride, but a visualy pleasing and coheasive show. takes what was was once a negative, even if it wasn't actively precived as one, and turns it into a positive.
Expedition Everest has huge theming, including the riding queue
Just rode velocicoaster this weekend. Wow that is the most fun rollercoaster I’ve ever riden. Over hulk, rip ride rocket
After riding it I confirm it’s crazy!
I feel like this guys could ride i305 and be like " it just wasn't
impressive, there wasn't any theming"
Kd is my home park and i305 is widely considered a huge waste of money by the GP since most GP prefer less intense coasters with lots of light forces and airtime like BGW's hypercoaster. i305 never has a line and you can get sick riding it too much from all of the intense forces.
I probably rode dueling dragons 100 times between 2000 and 2007. It was awesome!
I hope the dueling rollercoaster at Epic Universe will be the side-by-side dueling again!
Without my cousin-in-law, this wouldn’t be here. He helped determine the finances needed for the ride and helped put together the cost of building it. I can’t wait for him to get my family to the park to ride it. Thanks, Jason!
confirmed, best coaster I’ve ever been on
I think this coaster is very similar to Taron, but larger and more intense. Theming we'll see but Taron is on a top tier level too
kind of unfortunate you were only like a day off with the daytime testing.
It looks cool but I really don’t get “best roller coaster in the world” vibes. All-in-all it doesn’t really do anything too special...other than theming I guess?? Don’t get me wrong, I love more theming on coasters, but I don’t really see this as something “new”.
This overall package reminds me of The Swarm at Thorpe Park in England
You never rode the Stargate coaster in Mirabilandia Italy. Themed AF. And an amazing ride, included original Soundtrack, the Stargate and a looooot fog.
I'm super excited about this ride but I don't think there'll be thát much immersion, honestly. I don't think it'll beat, say, Expedition Everest or even Hagrid's in that regard. It's just cool to have such a non-family coaster to receive such theming but that isn't new either. I think most people are just extra excited because it specifically references the Jurassic World franchise. If they built this ride with similar theming but no franchise link, I don't think anyone would be thinking of calling this a gamechanging best American coaster, y'know. This is why branded theming is so important to parks now.
I love park and ride snobs... they are the best cause they're full of themselves but still really knowledgeable to be likeable.
You are so underrated I assumed you had 1 million subs but no. You deserve much more
Amusement parks should start investing on a modern day queue management system whereas entering a queue from rides can be done in an app (imagine all the stuff the park can integrate in the app) where passengers would only be called once their turn is up next (they will be notified once the passengers next to them just entered the attraction). I mean just imagine how much sales potential parks have been missing from guests in queue for hours. In this new system, guests don't have to stand idle for hours. Instead, they could roam around the park, enjoy its sceneries and do other stuff as they wait for their turn in the ride. They don't have to starve themselves for they could use a food kiosk anytime. The new system is simply a win-win for everyone.
As much as I think your video is great and that velocicoaster is really a step towards awesome and themed roller coaster. I also cannot argue if it is or will be the best ride in the world because that's a question of taste, but I will argue that I don't think it will revolutionise the industry. I truly do believe that the parks managers know very well how themed rides do better, I think it's a question of cost. Hagrid's is over 300milliom dollars where maverick is only 21 million, that's not even including the loss of profit due to downtime and how incredibly unreliable Intamin rides are at launch. Also parks like universal and Disney are always full, and charge >$120 per park, per ticket, per park. These park have a complete different standard and budget than six flags and cedar fair. Also remember running costs, maintenance costs, staff wages that these parks have to take into account.
I truly believe cedar fair and six flags already know that themed roller coasters make more money, but they need the initial capital to buy those rides and build them and then budget to run them.
I'd also say that not all roller coaster enthusiasts need theming to enjoy a ride, Hull for example doesn't have nearly as much theming and it is in the same park, yet it's on many people's favourite ride lists.
The theming is due to the competition from Disney. Obviously Disney is known for its themeing where as places like Cedar Point is more focused on the actual ride itself.
And Cedar Point's rides are a million times better
Very cool 😎 looks pretty awesome what's coming, can't take away from these, for me Sandusky, Ohio and Cedar Point will always dominate for me as number 1 when it comes to coasters, you lost me the minute you said you would take this over millennium force, come on madman, you killing me here.
i’m definitely going to be waiting outside before opening at universal the day this ride opens. the first time i saw it in person i was immediately excited about it. i also miss dueling dragons so much, rip lol. on the orlando subreddit people would post pictures of when they saw pieces of the tracks in the dumpster ):
