Hi Kathleen, I always love watching your videos and I have learned a lot from you. The video had good information, however I did have 1 statement... As a local florist in a small town, I have used a local grower and at first the relationship and what she offered was fantastic. However, when I and other florist had decreased business last year and could not purchase as much from her, she started making her own bouquets which she sold for $4, $7 & $10. Well wouldn't you know it, her business exploded because she was offering flower arrangements so CHEAP and the brick and mortar shops could not offer such low prices, because our overhead is higher. I have nothing against flower farmers, however this one farm has greatly hurt our businesses. There is no way we can compete with those prices. Yes, I understand we are in two totally separate markets and I don't want "cheap" clients, however this has hurt the floral industry in our area and our ability to educate people on how much flowers truly cost and paying for our knowledge and skills.

So sorry you had to go through this experience. From what I understand, this flower farmer should have watched Kathleen's videos on how to price flowers and be proud of her products.
